Does anyone know how I can add pictures and where I can add them?

Imgur.com is pretty good. That's where I like to keep all my pictures. Then what you do if you're using imgur is when you upload something. You click on the picture itself, then you copy the URL and paste into the url box. (The picture symbol: It looks like a picture of a tree) when you enter the URL it should show up. Feel free to ask me if you need help or something.

As said above, Imgur is a pretty popular place for uploading and sharing pictures. Another is puush, which allows you with but a keybinding to upload a file (regardless if image or not) or capture parts of your screen with just keybindings.

 

Note that once you upload the image to the web, or alternatively get a hold of an already-uploaded image, as the above user said you can use the image icon here to insert it:
