planning Trying To Setup A RPG

I have an RP in mind but it seems to be outside the RP guidelines so I would appreciate some help in getting set up.

My RP is more of an RPG with set mechanics and restrictions that are placed on characters. Each character can level up and gain equipment as they go along so, this doesn't play as the normal type of RP where you simply illustrate your actions. This is a type of pen and pencil dice game, as it were. Is ther eany problems with setting this kind of thing up in RP thread or should I set up in a "games" thread?

The general information of my RP is rather long although, I have been trying to keep it simple because I'm going for a VERY simple RPG. I dunno if anyone would actually understand it but that's why I'm here, duh. What you're about to read bellow is a "dev" mode for the developer only. This is the general information that I'm going to be using to make the game and govern in-game items and ideas. Mostly mechanics in here.

Your name here
Attack: 50 [+0]
Health: 1000 [+0]
Energy: 1000 [+0]
Experience: 0/20
Level: 0/120

Sub-stats
Level: 0/120 (You will receive 2 stat points per level.)
Experience: 0/20 (+2 required experience per level.)
Strength: 0/100 [+0] (Increases Health by 10 and attack by 2, per point)
Speed: 0/100 [+0] (Attacks in a turn are increased by 1 every 10 points and physical efficiency is increased by 5% per point.
Power: 0/100 [+0] (Increases Energy by 10 and increases skill effect by 5%, per point.)

Skills
Skills are made by the player and skill effects are equal to their cost. More points in the "Power" Sub-stat, the greater the skill effect.
Ex: When the "Power"  Sub-stat is maxed out a skill will have +50% effect. A healing skill that is cast for 20 "Energy" will give 30 points of healing, instead of the normal 20.

Dodgeing And Holds
Dodging is the same as skills but it costs you 40 energy points to dodge with one of your body parts which (equal to a limb), is a fifth of your body. A full-body dodge is equal to 200 points. At the maximum of the "Speed" Sub-stat physical effeciency is +50% so a full-body dodge would cost 100 energy instead of 200. Holds require your full body and therefore the full cost of a dodge in order to lock someone into a hold.

Blocking And Deflecting
Blocking is the same as Dodgeing but it costs less energy to block because you're not trying to dodge with the entirety of your body instead, you're blocking with one or two limbs. Blocking reduces damage taken from punches and kicks in weaponless combat by 80%. If you're wearing armor you gain 100% damage reduction from weaponless attacks. In addition, you can also block weapons at different rates if wearing armor. Blocking weapons without armor will not reduce their damage. Deflecting redirects attacks and therefore you take only 20% of the damage.

All Metal Armors: Provides 80% protection from piercing and slicing melee weapons.
Leather Armor: Provides 100% protection from slicing melee weapons.
Kevlar Vest: Provides 100% protection from blunt projectiles.
Thick Woven Cloth: Provides 100% protection from piercing projectiles except armor piercing bullets.

No armor can block blunt melee weapons. Dodge.

Attacking And Countering
Attacking works like dodging but when you attack you can either use quick/light strikes which have normal cost or you can attack with heavy attacks which cost double energy to use and cause double the damage. Countering is an attack/reversal after a block, dodge, deflection or hold.

Weapons
Damage from your level of strike is stacked with weapon damage. If you decide on a heavy blow your double, natural damage will added to the weapon damage.
Ex: 50+50= a light, natural strike from a beginner and therefore comes out to 100 because of their piercing weapon.

TIP: All damage rates are based on bare-flesh attacks.

Melee piercing weapons do 50 damage per stab (sword) and cause an accumulating bleeding damage of +17 every time a successful stab, into flesh, is completed.
Melee slicing weapons do 100 damage per slice (axes) and cause an accumulating bleeding damage of +85 every time a successful slice, into flesh, is completed.

To answer the question 'Is this suitable in the RP area', the answer is 'Yes, providing there will still be the opportunity for Role Play.' Meaning the characters being played can still interact In Character, on top of the mechanics.

There are plans to create a Tabletop Games sub-forum in RolePlay World specifically for more mechanics-heavy RPs, but those plans are a bit delayed at the moment due to higher priority stuff being worked by the tech team. If we get more call for that kind of thing, we might be able to accelerate those plans.

Currently, the game mechanics are not entirely complete. I still have yet to add dice rolling mechanics, elemental weaknesses, magical effects on armor and other types of items, etc but the game is designed to be fully customizable: by the players for the players. The only thing that I'm trying to do, with the mechanics, is to squeeze out cheating and unfair game-play. I've loathed RPing with OP or god-like characters for the longest time and if I can create a realistic mechanics system to kill that, I will.
