Whoever defeats Roman Reigns (My guess is Drew McIntyre or Liv Morgan .) is going to either be massively cheered or massively booed.

And in other news:

• Dynamite and Rampage are on NJPW world. For Japanese audiences. 
• We maybe getting either an AEW/ ROH or AEW/ NJPW supershow in June. 
• We're getting Okada/Naito again, this time in the company's return to the Fukoaka dome at Wrestling Dontaku for the first time in two decades. Third match since February. 
• Sanada has had to vacate his first singles title without ever defending it due to a cracked orbital bone. A new IWGP U.S. champ will be crowned at Dontaku between the man he beat, Tanahashi, and the man who injured him, Will Ospreay. 
• Joe/Suzuki finally happened. On free TV. And it was as brutal as I hoped it be. Too bad the Great Khali had to do a run in and close the show. 
• FTR had a fun week. MOTY contenders against both the Briscoes and the Young Bucks. They're set to face ReDRagon next and after that down the road, they'll be taking on the reuniting American Wolves. 
• History maybe repeating itself, as Warner Media finds itself in another merger, this time with Discovery. And just like 21 years ago, the future of Warner's local wrestling fed maybe in the balance. Discovery are gonna look to cut some costs so that this merger will make back some bang. NHL & NBA aren't going anywhere, so everything else maybe on the chopping block. Potentially wrestling included. Granted, AEW isn't the financial black hole WCW was. But that isn't a high bar to clear. Despite being the #2 wrestling fed in the world, they are still seen as middle tier. AEW are gonna have to be wearing their sunday best come autumn. Maybe the live gates from continued touring of bigger and bigger venues will help. Perhaps the tentative September release date of the video game AEW: Fight Forever will put the company back in the green. Maybe that Supershow and partnerships with NJPW world and DDT/TJPW will pique expansion into the Japanese market. Their best bet would be to offer AEW/ROH as a package deal to a streaming service, HBO Max preferably. That'll be seen as a strong investment. Either way, these next six months are gonna be make or break for All Elite Wrestling.

At least I was still able to play as Kushida in WWE2K22 so that's a positive.

Are you excited for the video game or not? I'm 50/50.

On one hand, Yukes has years of experience in the 3D wrestling game market while on the other hand, it's a new group of wrestlers that a lot of

AEW casuals like me wouldn't recognize.

If Peacock has the WWE library I don't see why HBO Max/Turner wouldn't jump at the chance to have AEW on their service.

HBO Max is probably their best option streaming wise, and it would make sense for AEW to have them as their streaming service.

 What does AEW have to do with Owen Hart?

At least if they held this tournament during the early days of Impact Wrestling it would have made a bit more sense because

Jeff Jarrett was Owen's tag team partner in WWF.

Nothing except for the fact they've proven themselves a more charitable organization than WWE. Also Bret Hart presenting the AEW world title.

I can't seem to find anything that Impact Wrestling might have done to honor Owen Hart in the past. That's a shame.

It's probably for the best that Impact's checkered legacy isn't added to Owen's. AEW have had a better first 3 years than TNA could've ever hoped for.

Eh, I'd go as far as 09 before things turned sour. Even then, they're still basically an Indy at that point. What could they have offered to the Owen Hart Foundation at that point ?

Might've been during the Mania weekend show if the production seemed cheap. Half a dozen feds were using the same hotel ballroom for their shows. I don't follow Impact uploads since most are only live on twitch. Only check out the PPVs.

  WrestleMania 35 was my favorite arena in WWE2K20 so when WWE uses one giant LCD screen as a "stage" I think that looks awesome.  

The SmackDown Live! arena was another favorite of mine and I really miss that logo and stage design.
