Years after the original five Lyoko warriors defeated X.A.N.A, a computer virus hellbent on destroying the world, they have moved on to better lives, thinking that the sentient computer virus had finally been destroyed. They were wrong. X.A.N.A survived and had since been regaining power. All he needs is for someone to flip on Lyoko for his reincarnation to be complete. Of course, with every villain there must also be heroes to combat the evil.

Ryu sighed as he walked through the lower levels of a abandoned factory. It was nearing the end of the Chrismas break and the students of Kadic University had decided to throw a last minute party at said factory before they had to return to school. Of course, Ryu had other things on his mind, like his girlfriend. "I wonder what she's up to." He thought to himself.

Clayton walked through the party being held at the factory and even danced to the music at times. After a few minutes, he took a seat on a box and simply watched other people make fools of themselves. "The rest of the year is going to be very interesting." He thought to himself.

Skye whispered a few Latin-sounding words to herself as she walked around the outskirts of the party. Once she had heard it was being held inside an abandoned factory, she was excited about it. An abandoned factory? Perfect place for something paranormal to go down but it seemed like the party was a bore. According to Skye anyway. She looked around the party and didn't like the look of anyone so she sat down on a box in the corner of the room.

"Roll the dice and what do you get? Fate only knows." Skye whispered in a quiet voice.

Clayton noticed a girl around his age on a box away from the partyand was quite curious. The teen then stood and waled towards her. "Hey. I don't think I've seen you around. My name is Clayton, but my friends call me Clay. Who are you?" There was a friendly and genuine tone in his voice. He then noticed the pair of dice.

"...Now what do you have to say for yourself young man?!" A teacher, now chaperone, asked a boy of 15 years of age, though he looked younger due to his height and somewhat cherub-like face. This was Axiom, and he is currently getting chewed out. "I don't suppose saying sorry would help me, would it." Axiom said, sitting back in the chair with his arms folded. This wasn't the first time he has been in this office. Minor theft, vandalism, fighting, and worst of all, lollygagging, Axiom had done it all. This was just one of the rare times that he got caught. "What are we going to do with you." The teacher asked, pinching the bridge of her nose, "Who even puts habanero sauce on a cake?"

"They had it coming." He mumbled to himself, looking away and crossing his arms. "Be that as it may, I cant allow you to go back to the party. You are to head back to your dorm room for the night. Are we clear?" The teacher said, now moving toward the door. "Crystal" Axiom grumbled out before walking out. The office was a part of the gym where the party was held so he then made his way toward the gymnasium doors. "I might just take the long way back though." He said under his breath with a shady looking grin.

Hearing someone introduce himself, Skye looked up from her dice. "Hi. I'm Skye. I moved here a few years ago. What about you?" Skye said and casually rolled the dice in her palm.  She looked at the dice, then back to Clayton. "You want your fate told?" She asked with a smile. This question usually told Skye what kind of friend the person would be. Would he be worth keeping as a friend or just ignored for the rest of the year?

Clayton nodded slightly and smiled. "My parents moved here from Russia for work purposes and they decided to enroll me at Kadic. As for my fate, I don't see why not." He said. To be honest, he was always curious about new things and was willing to try them most of the time.

Skye smiled and moved backwards on the box. Sitting cross-legged, Skye looked at the space in front of her and figured it was close enough to a circle as she would get. "So you're from Russia?" Skye asked as she threw the dice onto the piece of box in front of her. When the dice finished rolling, they were on the very edge . She leaned forward to look better at the number. "Huh. A Two. How about that. A Two means that you have to look closely at situations as they will not be what they always seem."

Yukie hummed thoughtfully, stopping outside the factory as she eyed the building somewhat distastefully, feeling as well as hearing the music reverb through the walls. Not that she had anything at all against parties, she just wasn't exactly one for socialising with people she didn't know (which was rather sadly, basically everyone in the entire school). Especially considering the fact that she was relatively new, she didn't find anyone yet who she wanted to talk to or who wanted to talk to her. She absentmindedly fiddled with a strand of her cyan and navy hair, brushing her hand through her ponytail as she tried to picture what it would be like inside. She looked the building up and down once more, before turning her attention to the white cat that trailed at her feet. Stooping down, Yukie pet it gently as it butted against her palm. "Hey kitty. Whatcha say we go somewhere more fun?" she mumbled to no-one in particular, petting it as she seriously contemplated the idea. Sure, it was supposed to be a compulsory party, but who would even notice if she didn't go?

Amber wasn't much for parties, she just didn't like bumping into people as they moved on the dance floor. She had only gone because of her friends asking her to arrive and she wasn't intent to go down to ground level where the real commotion was truly taking place. As she walked along Amber seriously considered why she came as there was nothing for her to do, or at least would do. She eventually reached a point where a pillar holding up the ceiling resided. Walking up to it she brushed off her blue shirt which had somehow gotten dirty and sat down with her back rested on the pillar.

After exploring the factory for a bit, Temoest noticed Amber and walked towards her. "Hey. How are you?" He asked. She didn't exactly look comfortable and figured that he might as well try to ease her mood. The teen couldn't help but notice how good she looked in blue and a light blush showed on his cheeks.

Clayton was slightly surprised and smiled a bit. "Yeah. I can agree to that." He said. "I guess I'm naturally observant so it makes sense that I would want to look at something from every angle. So, what grade are you in this year? We may be seeing each other a lot if we have similar classes."

As soon as Axiom Left the office, he made sure to escape the teacher's line of sight. "Well if she doesn't see me, it'll be as if I went to my room." He said to himself as he went back to the party. It wasn't as fun though, especially since he couldn't make any more trouble without being caught. "Oh well, there's bound to be something more interesting around here." Axiom slyly escaped the crowd in favor of some exploring.

Amber jumped when someone spoke to her and she quickly looked up and sighed, "hi tempest, I was ok but you scared be." Amber stood up using the pillar to balance herself, normally shed take off her heels but she just didn't feel like it. She walked over to tempest but didn't quite make it all the way before tripping on a stone and falling over knocking tempest down with her. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry," she said as she quickly scrambled off and sat next to him.

"You know what? I'm still trying to get the hang of the system so I have no idea. But I think I am a Sophomore this year. Back where I'm from, I would be in Year 10." Skye answered, picking up the dice and casually rolling them in her palm again. "This little distraction was great but I really need some fresh air." Skye said, sliding off the box and quickly out the room without so much as a bye to Clayton. She still hasn't decided if he could be her friend yet as they've only done one little fortune-telling game. "Where's the entrance to this again?" Skye mumbled to herself and headed down to ground level to find a door.

Ryu smiled slightly and sat up, hearing and feeling evident pops in his back as h straightened himself. " I assure that I am fine, milady." He said. "So, what were you doing before I scared you?" There was a hint of worry within the teen's voice and it was obvious that he cared for Amber.

Clayton sighed slightly as he watched Skye leave. "Looks like I won't be seeing her in many classes." He thought. The teen then figured that he could also use a bit of relaxation. He then left to go to the lower level of the factory and walked through some of the seemingly older areas of the factory.

Amber tilted her head and gave him a small smile, "Oh I was just sitting down and watching the people below, its not the easiest thing to walk in heels. Also you weren't waiting by the door so I had to search for you." Amber stood up and attempted to pull Ryu up but inevitably couldn't. After giving up she walked to the window and turned back around. "So, what would you like to do right now, personally I want to go back to the school but meh, I don't really care."

"Well well, what do we have here?" Axiom asked out loud. He had wondered to the lower levels of the factory in an attempt to stave off boredom and was so far unimpressed. That was until he found this suspicious looking Elevator. "Now where do you go?" He asked himself. Ordinarily, he'd know when to leave well enough alone, but this...He just had to follow this for some reason. He then raised his hand and pressed the button to call the elevator.

Clayton walked through an area that looked like it was used for manufacturing goods before noticing a set of stairs that lead to an opening in the wall. "What do we have here?" He asked as he approached the opening, albeit warily. He didn't exactly know what was down here so he had to be careful.

Ryu stood and shrugged slightly. "Yeah, sorry about that. I've been having headaches for the past few days and the music didn't exactly help. I'm up for anything you want to do, though.

The room that Clayton was approaching held a large amount of monitors and machinery. In the center of it all, stood a console attached to a chair and the main hub of what looked like a massive computer. The main screen glowed a dull green under years of dust. What secrets could this computer have! Being in such a strange area?

Amber walked back to him and took his arm, "we could go back to the school to see if anything fun and quiet is going on there. After all you shouldn't stay here if you have a headache." She turned at stared at the room where the party was. Sighing she quickly glanced at Ryu before walking in front of him and spinning to face him. "So whats it gunna be Mr. achyhead, are we going to head away or stay here?" She put an emphasis on leaving simply to push his decision hopefully.

Clayton entered the mysterious underground room and was surprised by the amount of technology in one place. The teen then slowly walked towards the computer and sat in the chair. He then turned his attention to the computer and pressed what he assumed to be the power button.

A few moments later, the monitor shines in Clayton's face rapidly typing out a pre-written start up code. Multiple files and pictures flash through the screen as a red target with one extension on the top and three on the bottom appeared on the screen. In front of it appeared the words, "Run Lyoko? Y/N"

Tempest was about to answer when he heard a strange noise. "I wonder what that could be." He thought, before turning his attention to Amber. "Should we check it out before we head back?"

Gears that haven't been used in a while were now turning, pulling the elevator up. Once it had arrived, the door opened automatically. "Well, let's see what we have here." Axiom said as he got on board. There seemed to be only one direction to go from there, down. So he pushed the down button and the doors closed on him.

When they reopened, Axiom saw a room with a terminal suspended from the ceiling, and that wasn't all. There seemed to be someone already here. "Well, looks like i'm not the only one who got bored with the party." He said loud enough so that the guy could hear him.
