I'd say she looks very similar to G3 Rarity minus the cutie mark but that's just me

They make up "characters" to sell all the freakin time.

Often they don't even bother to make unique art, they just recolors the characters from the show.

My first thought was "Rainbow Dash/Flash Sentry ship?"

But yeah...those look pretty legit, I've seen some of them before. like others said, it's a shame they make up these characters instead of using the many background/non-M6 characters from the show - I would have thought they'd sell better, as both bronies and kids would probably buy them. What I wouldn't give for a Coco or Octavia (I know there was an EQG one, but I couldn't find her anywhere near me) brushable

Rainbow Flash was a G3 pony. Early on in G4 they'd make G4 versions of G3 ponies (Skywishes, Star Swirl, Bumblesweet, etc.).

A lot of background characters seem to be available in the blind bag range. Though those aren't brushable. And they often only bear a passing resemblance to their design in the show.

Clearly just a recoloured Rarity. If they were going to recolour a Mane 6 pony, why not use Rainbow Dash? At least then the mane style would be kind of close.

 

 

 

That said, we have a little figurine of Honeybuzz who has never appeared in the show, but I think she looks really sweet. It doesn't make me think "I wish we had a canon character instead" but rather "they should find a way to work her into the show".
