So this is a thing, and it looks incredibly stupid

Later ill wind up making a blog post about how internet horror movies in general are stupid, but lets just focus on this

I get that the internet is a big thing, but it seems like no one knows how to do it right, I thought we already had the discussion about how cyber bullying is the easiest thing to ignore and avoid, but ignoring that this trailer already gets stuff wrong, you cant post graphic death or nudity on youtube, thats just starters, also you cant anonymously upload videos to youtube either, and id some one uploaded it to a site that allows anonymous uploads, that can show that sort of thing, you can easily get some help to track down the IP of who ever uploaded said video, also if this movie winds up having high bill youtube stars, my head will shake harder than it already is

Wait and see if some Youtuber can come up with a philosophical understanding of this movie, then we'll all have a reason to watch it.

. . .

Yeah, right.  This must be the newest Saw movie or something what with that reference.  Okay Hollywood, you can play your game, but I'm not taking part in it.

Wow, this looks incredibly stupid.

Well, I guess I have to see it now, don't I?

It looks really dumb but I'll watch it anyway because I'm a horror movie buff. Can't tell if this is going to be effectively scary or not just from the trailer.

I saw a horror movie a few months ago that utilized Skype, I don't remember what it was called but it was actually pretty effective.

Been seeing this trailer a lot lately and every time I see it, I question the existence of it more and more. I just don't see how it is going to even be a proper horror film. It's basically Paranormal Activity: Skype Edition.

I fear that this is continuing the death of great horror films..It would be awesome if the movie actually was something decent but that concept though..blech.

I like a good ghost story, and I don't have to see this film to know that it won't tell one.  It could have just as easily been about failing to heed one of those idiotic spam posts that tries to scare you into sharing it.  This is not artfully-crafted, immersive horror.  This is jump scare, gross out, shock value-reliant "horror."  No story.  No atmosphere.  Just an excuse for gore - and not even a good excuse.  Hideous, man-eating monsters are a good excuse for gore; this film's got Skype.  This is to the horror genre what the kazoo is to music; and not half as fun.  The title of the film alone is bad enough to keep me away from it. xD  The trailer shows that the film takes itself pretty seriously...  And then they named the damned thing "Unfriended."  They could have titled it "FaceBOO!"  With an exclamation point.  That's almost as frightening.

Yes, I just panned a film I've never seen and never will see.

Just when I though the Horror genre was finally starting to come back into its own with The Babadook and Oculus, that film has to come along and mess it up more.
