How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I found MLP:FIM on Netflix and was interested in the brony phenomenon. I thought that I'd give the show a whirl and it just happened that this was the show for me.

Well, hello forums.  My username is based off of the eponymous shiny pokemon because I was lucky enough to get one at the start of Soulsilver.  I am an aspiring student who is interested in "fancy mathematics" and would try to solve that differential equation rather than socialize like all of those "normal" people.  I guess you can say that my only friends in real life would be my books, Ulysses has been with be for half a year now and I'm still not finished with it!  I am also an IWBTG (I Wanna Be the Guy) fangamer, which means that I play IWBTG and games based off of it for fun; my clearing of 'I Wanna Kill The Kamilia 3' is definitely my greatest achievement to date.  Although I have been on other internet forums I apologize in advance if I break any of the rules here.  So if anypony here is willing to give a helping hand, I would appreciate it tremendously!

I didn't even know my Cyndaquil was a shiny until later in the game when I found out what a shiny was.  I just really wanted the "cool" fire starter.

 

I read the guidelines and it looks like I should fit in here just fine.  Now the only thing I have to do is get used to the emoticons.
