Dashia came over to Chip. "Here you need this mire then I do."

She hooves to him a health potion and a hydra.

She then sits down and says, "we need to gather the others. Home is just about an hour or so trot from here but we need to get into one of the many tunnels leading to the place. Luckily for us one in right below us. Unluckily for us it had to be the dangerous one."

Chip smiled at Dashia and nodded his head at her as he took the items in his magic. "Thank you Dashia, I'm glad you're here." He said soon drinking the health potion as well as the hydra.

Chip let the items take their effect as he sat there, he could feel the sensation of item working their magic and he looked back to Dashia. "Don't worry about accompanying me, you should find the others. I won't be able to walk effectively in this shape for a little bit." He suggested as he took his rifle off his back to inspect it for damage.

Pain seared through my body, constantly grabbing every inch of muscle and skin on my body. My vision was blurry and with how I felt I might as well be deaf. I searched my body to find a source to the pain, but all I felt were my fur and feathers. Wait a minute...fur and feathers? My vision began to clear as I saw the metallic frame of my power armor slumped on the ground directly facing me. I groaned as I struggled to get up form my slumped position. Behind my suit were markings in the gravel that showed I've been dragged from the wreckage. In my confusion I heard a familiar voice and a something pressed against my head. "Hello Vice, you were in the neighborhood, why haven't ya given your poor mother a call?" A familiar voice cooed.

My eyes widened and my heart raced, mother...how did she? "Mother..how long were you tracking me?" I managed to stammer. What I presumed to be a gun pressed against the back of my head was now moved towards my neck. I could feel the hot breath coming from my mothers beak on my neck. I could imagine her smiling right now, she always did before revealing information.

"Oh come on now I highly doubt you have brain trauma thanks to your father's helmet, you can tell me yourself." She waited a couple of seconds before frowning."Fine, since it seems you can't think for yourself I'll have to do it for you. Your fathers suit is the only thing he left behind for us besides trade deals with the dead boys. So it doesn't take a fucking genius to figure I would put a tracking device in something so important to me." She pulled the gun away from my neck and walked in front of me. She wore a full body black wetsuit with a white vest that had high a high collar over it. It took me a moment to notice the guards that flanked me, presumably her so called honor guard.

Their balaclavas and optic goggles made sure they gave of an intimidating presence."You knew how important that suit was to me, yet here it is smashed up with its spell matrix crashed. Do you know how much crap I have to pull to get a ranger scribe to fix up that thing! " She shook her head and let out an annoyed sigh, "since you have shown neglect to your fathers most valuable possession I have chosen to confiscate it from you till you show some responsibility"

"In the mean time you will use this replacement heavy combat armor set, I suspect you will find it quite comforting," with a snap of her fingers the honor guard pulled out a bulky box with the white tip talon emblem crudely painted on it. "Due note you still have my permission to use that zebra rifle of yours, however your pistol was damaged in your crash so I brought in a replacement. I believe the name cap saver is familiar to you is it not? Lets wrap this up shall we I am a busy griffoness after all," she suddenly wrapped her talons around my neck and pulled me close to her face. "I expect better from you Vice, bring in caps by the end of this week and I will forgive you. Do not disappoint me again," she coldly stated before flying off. Her guards boxed up my father's broken suit and flew off after her.

I took a moment to catch my breath and feel my neck before I hurried over to the box and opened it. Inside was a dark tannish heavy high collared vest with a matching full black combat helmet and gasmask. Mother at least had the decency to give me decent gear, I guess that's how she shows her love. I hurriedly donned the gear, it had a noticeably heavier feeling to it then the power armor suit due to its lack of magic enchantments. I saw a saddlebag near wear I'd been sitting with my name stitched on to it, opening it up I found my zebra rifle and other minor items. What was new was the ten millimeter pistol that laid inside. I threw the bag over my back as I hurried as fast as I could to my new companions with my body wreathing in pain. I looked at my helmet before putting it on, "Shit...I'm so fucking screwed."

Which he did. Ezekiel coughed to mitigate the awkward feeling.

"How a pony lives there life is their say, my barn door simply doesn't swing that way." Ezekiel then adjusts to make himself comfortable and tries to fall fast asleep. Not out of dismissal, but because he really was tired.

Crackshot snorted as he discarded the empty bottle, his smirk growing a smidge bigger. Sarcasm was obviously a foreign tongue where Ezekiel came from.

Though, he was a good pony. Him and Aile. Two good apples teamed with a rotten one.

He sat himself down on the floor, eyes fixed to the closed door. In a strange place with strange ponies, it always paid to keep a careful eye open.

He didn't trust any of them, despite how benevolent their leader came off to be. Being held up and blindfolded doesn't do wonders in the trust department.

Nevertheless, he'd had his sleeping medicine, so if he did nod off, it would be a fairly pleasant sleep. Plus, it wouldn't be the first time he'd fallen asleep sitting up.

I was breathing heavier then usual, I guess I needed to get used to carrying my armor's weight. Or it might just be the pain, argh!..yeah I'm 50-50 on that one. After a good minute of jogging in heavy gear and an injured body I finally found Chip and dashia. I came to a skidding halt with my talons up,"hey hey hey it's me Vice don't shoot!" I hurriedly said as I slung my zebra rifle over my neck. "I had a little run in with uh family, never mind it's not important what's important is we find the rest of our group and get to new cloudsdayle. Do you know where to go?" I asked Dashia. I needed to profit off this journey somehow, but it doesn't seem like I'll be gaining much.

Anna stumbled back to the group, breathing a little heavy herself. She was in quite a lot of pain, but on the outside there didn't appear to be anything wrong with her other than how tired she looked. She looked at Dashia, then the griffon. She didn't remember his name currently, earlier he was too busy to introduce himself. She went to go say something, but her legs gave out and she was in the dirt. Anna was pretty pathetic at the moment. She hated being useless and pathetic... Not to be dramatic, but this was kind of why she wanted to be just left at the cave to die? Atleast she'd save herself some of the dignity, there was no way she was going to survive giving birth anyway... was there?

"I'm sorry," Anna finally whimpered, sprawled out on the ground, tearing up as she finally broke. She didn't really show much emotion before, but now she was on the ground blubbering like a foal. A full grown mare, crying. Could it just be hormones? Probably. "I'm sorry I'm holding you all back, and I can't just... hold myself together even for a minute... It just... It hurts... It's been hurting"

There was no evidence to what hurt, at least not without further investigation that is. Anna was on the ground by the griffon, sniffling and rubbing her eyes, spread out in the dirt like she was in the cave. Her legs were weak and her backside hurt horribly. The pegasus had been through quite a lot, the poor mare. There was probably no rational reason to the way she was acting, it was all built up emotions and hormones.

(Back at the cave group 2 visited earlier)

"Go ahead and rest now, dear. You have lived a generous and selfless life and now you are finally rid of this wretched wasteland." The old pony said quietly as he knelt before a pathetic and damaged sign that served as the tombstone for the ponies that were recently murdered. "I thank Celestia that you were given a...a quick and painless death, I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if you had died any other way. Oh Celestia, what am i saying? It's not fair at all! Not fair...not even the slightest, it should have been me that died! It should have been me that died, not you, you were so young..what place does an old timer like myself have in this god-forsaken land?"

"I'll tell you what use you have little pony. I'll tell you exactly what use you have.." A pony dressed in tattered garb had appeared behind the old pony, a faint smile visible behind the hood that shrouded his face.

The older pony turned around quickly to see the unknown pony, many questions filled his head, however, before he could ask one he was cut off by the stranger's quick and slick tongue.

"Tell me, friend. Was it truly your fault that the pony you hold dear expired? I'll tell you who's fault it is, those raider scumbags that led the hellhound straight into your home! Oh, yes I know!" The stallion chuckled, almost insanely as he gazed at the nothingness that was the floor "I watched them alrighty! From the moment they set hoof inside here, and till the moment they left, they were plotting on getting you and your people killed so they could loot your corpses! And what better way to do that than to have a hellhound do the dirty work for them? By the time it would have slaughtered everypony they would have finished the hellhound with minimal effort and walked over your corpses and taken every last cap you had!"

"Y-you don't know what you're talking about! Those ponies were not raiders, they didn't dress or even act like them!" The older pony recoiled at the brash stranger with a hint of anger behind his voice.

"Keep lying to yourself old man! I've followed these ponies for a long time and that is exactly their ploy, they play the 'innocent and harmless' card, but in reality they are cold and ruthless raiders! They have taken countless lives for their benefit and I've been trying to stop their roguery! So, if you still think you have no place in this hellhole, thing again old timer! I know they told you where their hideout is at, fortunately for me, they weren't able to kill you like the rest of their victims and now I can figure out where they hide!"

A thick and lifeless chill ran through the cave as the old stallion pondered. What sounded like madness seconds ago was starting to make sense to him now, he needed somepony to blame for his loss, to blame for his hatred that he had for raiders and the wasteland. Who could blame an old and broken pony like himself? The stallion had finally made a choice, a small smile forming on his face as the new-found chill buried its way deep inside the ponies heart and corrupting him with hatred. "I think the pegasus mare had said they were going to a place regarded as hellhound sanctuary".

"Just as I figured...what better place to hide-out than hellhound sanctuary? You haven't need to worry any more old timer, those raider-scumbags have their days numbered and the wasteland has you to thank for that." The stranger had turned around to leave, a big fat smile stricken across his face.

"Buckshot, who was that just now?"  One of the ponies that had survived the massacre from earlier had asked the old stallion.

"Just an old friend...just an old friend.."

Dashia says to the mare, "I wish my mom let me have a scan Crystal. I would be able to scan her and find out why she hurts. The night is too Dangerous to move in without flight. We will need to use the nearby cave and month morning head out. I will take first watch. Yall rest and treat your wounds."

Dashia goes over to the mare and looks her over. Her mom at least taught her the basic of medicine and she also said a good eye makes for the best doctor.

Even without the scan crystal, Dashia looks over the mare to see what's wrong with her. (medical on chara sheet, perception 8)

Dyna had already entered the cave, looking for the others. She was not finding them. "Guys, where are you? Guys...?" she wandered a bit more in the darkness. "Dashie?" she whispered. "Chippy?" she had come up with nicknames for Dashia and Chip. She looked a bit scared, however, she remembered her mother's song about not being afraid. She laughed a bit. However, she was still afraid deep down, even though she did not show it.

Anna finally broke down, a couple weeks in the wasteland would do that to a stable pony. I honestly didn't know what to do to comfort her. Talons don't usually break down and cry on the floor, they usually got angry then cried privately at home later. Which left me without experience dealing with matters like this. Dashia disliked the idea of not being able to find out what was physically wrong with Anna, but quickly changed the subject. She then recommended we go hide out in some tunnels to lick our wounds. However her being on first watch bothered me considering she got sucked underneath a crashing box of metal.

I looked back at Anna, "Anna you've lasted this long in the wasteland without dying. That to me shows your not entirely worthless, everyone has their own moment of weakness whatever the cause. They just need to find the resolve to push through it, if they do they end up stronger because of it." My mother told me this once when one of my closest friends was shot by a rival talon group, sure the context was different but the message was all the same. "Come on you're a tough mare, you showed me that even if it did hurt like hell. You'll pull through I know you will," I said in a caring town as I patted her shoulder before turning back to Dashia.

"Dashia you got run over by a speeding vehicle, no armor could stop you from being hurt by that. I'll take first watch, and I won't take no for an answer." I boldly stated as I gripped my zebra rifle. I double checked its magazine armor piercing rounds still in place. Damn I love this gun but three round burst eat ammo fast. I looked farther back to see the cave Dashia mentioned, it looked ominous. It even had a lovely no entry sign in red letters, this is gonna be fun oh boy. I nodded towards Chip, Dashia, and Anna before making my way into the cave with my rifle out. It was dark, but it was nothing a griffon couldn't see through. I saw what I believed was movement further in the cave. I took a deep breath before moving in with my talon on the trigger of Agony. I quickly rounded the corner with my rifle at the ready, a sense of relief washed over me as it was just the filly Dashia and Chip picked up. "Hey kid it's me the griffon, you shouldn't be wandering around by yourself like that."

Dyna looked at the the griffon. "Hey, I can handle myself, you know. I got my explosives" she made a pouted face. "Where is the way out and why did Dashia not like you? If she didn't like you, there must be something wrong and I trust Dashia more than anypony else here in the Wasteland".

Chip nodded back to the Griffin still looking rather upset since he still blamed himself for the crash, because of his inability to find a proper way to mount the regulator everypony could of died. He forced himself to stand he legs still shaking slightly from a combination of still being shaken up from the crash and his injuries.

As he begun walking he realized he didn't see Dyna around anywhere. "Dyna! Dyna!" He shouted concerned for the filly.

"Damn don't tell me we already lost her." he muttered looking around frantically.

Dashia used her remaining strength to help Anna move towards the cave. "Chip, Dyna is with the Griffin. Can you please go ahead and check on her for me. I will get Anna. She need medical but I don't have anymore kits on me."

Dashia moves towards the opening and as gently as she can, she sets Anna inside the cave. She says to Anna, "You hold the next generation of life for the wastes. Don't give in and let that life be wasted. It needs its mother and your it."

"Unless you got bird eyes like me your not finding your way out easy kid. Look Dashia didn't like me because I gave off a bad first impression. That little doo-hicky of mine caused her to get a little mad, stuff happened and now I'm a uh good guy now." I tried my best to explain in a way she could understand. I never really was the best at interacting with the cubs back home, that never stopped them from asking about how my missions went.

Dyna pouted her face. I notice things really well. [Perception 8] I think this is the way. She started walking in a certain direction. "Are you coming or what? And that thing you had, do you have more of those or?" she was really interested in explosive collars. She wanted to test those.

This kid had better eyes then I would have expected "I think we should wait for the others till we start going anywhere kid." She also asked for one of my bomb collars, why a kid would want to tinker with one of those is a mystery. I dipped my claws into my saddlebag in an attempt to fish out the familiar feel of the collar. Nothing...damn mother must have taken it, probably to make sure I didn't look like I had ties to red eye. "Uh sorry kid no collars, lost them during the fall."

Chip heard Dashia's comment and begun limping toward the cave. "Yeah good idea leave her with the griffin that slaps slave collars on pregnant mares." He growled a little irritated how she could be so calm about it.

Chip eventually made his way into the cave, the air was magnitudes cooler inside then it was outside which was a relief. He cast his light spell so he could see and begun limping down into the cave until he came across the griffin and Dyna. "There you two are." He said looking to Dyna, "Are you alright Dyna, did you clear the crash alright?"

Dyna looked disappointed at the griffons comment. "Darn. I would have loved to test it. They seem really really effective, both as a physical weapon and as a psychological one". She then heard Chip. "CHIP" she immediately, almost at an instinct, jumped on Chip and hugged him. "CHIPPY!".

"Ow ow...." Chip groaned as Dyna embrace him, using his magic he gently pulled her off of him. "I'm glad you're okay but I'm still banged up from the landing, so let's refrain from the hugging for now."

Chip turned his attention to the Griffin trying to keep his light spell from his eyes. "I take it you're alright as well?" He asked making sure everypony was alright after such a landing.

Chip entered the cave sounding a bit more snarky then usual. The filly jumped up and hugged him yelling out a nick name, seriously chippy? "I'm quite alright my power armor is quite durable as you can tell, saved me from a smashed head. I had a little run in with family so I don't have it anymore. Now I got this lovely thing," I said as I knocked on my helmet. Nice spell, damned unicorns can be very unpredictable. Still had no idea why Red eye wanted them so bad though, might have something to do with the alicorns and their unity thing. "Dashia looked a bit uncomfortable when she mentioned this cave, keep your eyes open and your weapon out."

"I was about to ask about the armor," Chip said inspecting the armor from a safe distance. "If you need help repairing it let me know once we find a workshop."

Chip then nodded and drew his rifle from his back, if he could maintain a distance then it would be fine to use inside a cave. If something closed in on him he still had his magnum on his side. "Agreed, possible hell hounds... sounds like a blast." He said sarcastically.

Dyna picked up on what they were saying. "Oh yes, it will be quite the blast" she was hoofing a grenade she had. "Now, what do we do now? I want to know, so that I don't seem so lost you know" she begin jumping around, inspecting the cave, looking at anything that caught her interest, mostly stone shapes.

"Kid an explosion in an enclosed space like this can cause a collapse, don't use explosives." I strictly scolded the overexcited filly. Chip mentioned something about helping me fix up my new body armor. Cheerful thought but replacing ceramic plates was pretty easy to do. Chip was eyeing his magnum, he was probably ready to draw that out whenever trouble bothers to pop up. "Magnum of yours can do some decent damage on a hellhound, but I believe this would be better." I said lifting up my zebra rifle. "You should know what this rifle is. After all it's one of the most notorious weapons used against steel rangers. The rifle shoots in three round burst with 7.62mm rounds. With its flame enchantment and armor piercing rounds, it should put down any hellhound that tries to pull any surprises." I confidently boasted, after all it did do its job.

Dyna looked like as if she wanted to strangle the griffon. "STOP THAT. I know explosives. I doubt that you know anything about them" she pouted her face. "Plus, I wasn't being serious. Pfft, what do sky dwellers even know about enclosed spaces, I have been living down there longer than I remember" she was a bit annoyed.

Anna mumbled and groaned as Midnight prodded her to see what was the matter. She didn't want to move or do anything, but that didn't stop Dashia from picking her up and moving her towards the place where they'd take refuge. She really wished they'd just get to this crashed Enclave ship or whatever by now, because the farther they went, the worst she felt. [sUCCESS] Any self respecting doctor, upon further investigation, would easily go into the conclusion that Anna was going into labor. The cable snapping feeling was her water breaking, as if they weren't in enough trouble. Hopefully they had someone on board that could birth a foal, seeing that she could easily die from birth complications of all sorts... especially blood loss. Bloodhounds.

"I don't know..." she grumbled "It hurts," she grunts "Can we please.... MMMPHH... get somewhere... UGH.... DAMN IT." she yells in pain.
