Chip watched as Crackshot join Ezekiel in the charge. "God damn stubborn mules." He muttered to himself pondering to himself for a second.

"Crap, crap I can't let them go out uncovered, if I use my rifle I can provide some cover fire. May not be able to pierce that power armor though. Although if I finish the tank cannon, seeing a minotaur wielding that beauty will certainly crush moral and will allow us to drop that airship." Chip thought to himself.

"Alright flip the cannon Greshken I should have it finish in a minute if I forget the trigger and just use bare wires." He said gesturing his head back to the cannon.

Greshken flipped the cannon onto it's side and chip quickly grabbed the power core and begun installing it.

As the power core was installed the cannon's mechanisms begun to operate. "with the turret hood in the way I will have to load the shells and activate the firing mechanisms from underneath." Chip said looking up at Greshken. "Just please don't drop it on me." He said jokingly with a hint of worry in his voice.

Aile to her horror watched from the broken window two airships hovering over the farmhouse and firing at her allies. As soon as she saw troops being deployed she immediately went to the dresser beside the door and pushed it to block access to the door. She knew that it would not hold up against powered armor, and she frantically began stacking all she could find against the door, the bed, books, suitcases.

The airship fired off it's weapons towards the barn, targeting in particular the largest life source. The marauders immediately breached the first floor of the house, advancing inside carefully.

Dashia saw the others move and speed was her game. She discarded the sealed power armor and got into her light power armor and took flight. With her speed no long hindered, she became nearly a blur as she bolted past the ship.

She is attempting to use her speed to keep the airship distracted until the Minatuar can destroy it.

Crackshot began a serpentine to avoid fire from the gunship, approaching the front door with Ezekiel.

"These guys are rocking power armour," he alerted his ally, "so make your attacks count."

He glanced down to Persuasion and scowled. "I'm aiming for the eyes."

The two reached the porch and peered inside, hoping the invaders hadn't gotten too far already.

Ezekiel was right alongside Crackshot outside the building, the close quarters inside would work to both of their advantages given the two were armed with close range weapons.

Ezekiel's hoof slid under Khalid's crossguard and slid it slightly from it's holding. Not enough to fully draw the weapon but enough so that he could quickly once he felt the moment was right. He awaited the more tactically oriented Crackshot to give him the signal to jump in and wreak havoc.

Greshken had been holding up the giant weapon for Chip when the ships arrived. Immeditaley, he knew they were in trouble. He was thankful that he had eaten and slept enough to be at full capacity today, because as it seemed now, he'd have to tank a whole lot of bullets to make sure they survived this attack. His guess was that he, standing out in the open outside the barn, would immediately become the primary target. Their advantage was the cannon, powerful weapon of which their enemy had no knowledge. Greshken kept awkwardly holding the heavy weapon in his hands to make sure Chip was under enough cover, making sure he wouldn't get hit once the shooting started.

"STAY BACK? FIGHT... Fight YOU COWARDS!" He screamed to the others when Crackshot ordered everyone to stay put. They couldn't afford to live under the mercy of anyone else. If they were to be captured, they would most likely be killed soon afterwards. It was either fighting for survival now, or dying. Losing ones freedom was even worse than dying in Greshkens opinion. "I will not lose my freedom now that I've just broken the chains that held me back." He grumbled, groaning slightly under the weight of the weapon that he was continiously holding up.

The Zebra was the first to act, charging forwards to their opponents without hesitation. Immediately, a rain of bullets hailed down upon Greshken. He screamed. Many of the bullets were of fairly high caliber. He could hold ground against them for a while, but not too long. He looked down at Chip to see how far he was. He aimed at the airships on beforehand, waiting for Chip to get the firing mechanism to work. All the while, he was tanking the bullets of the airship. "WHY DO WE FIGHT!?" He started, trying to encourage both himself and the others, attempting to boost their morale. "WHY DO WE CHOOSE TO LIVE!?" He screamed out from under the ever lasting raging sound of bullets being fired from several machine guns.

In his head he imagined all his previous fights. All his suffering in pain. How he had fought for his life. How he had fought to keep his sanity. How he had quenched his thirst for blood time and time again. Years upon years with the wasteland throwing everything it had at him, from it's worst mutant monsters to it's worst sentient monsters, monsters in the mind and soul. "BECAUSE WHEN WE FIGHT, AND WE WIN..." He screamed, trying to regain his breath as he was bracing himself against the hail of bullets. "WE GET TO SPIT THE DEMONS OF THE WASTELAND IN THE FACE!" He changed his foothold, giving chip more room to move, hoping he was soon ready to fire the cannon. "AND EVEN THOUGH THIS WOLRD THREW EVERYTHING IT HAD AT US..." Fire. Blood. Pain. Anger. Anticipation. Fear. Courage. Everything was released from his mind as he screamed on the top of his lungs. Every living being in the area of a few miles would be able to hear it. "WE. FUCKING. SURVIVED!"

[Roar, speech check of 75, intimidate on all enemies (they will be frightened and run away unless they surpass Greshkens speech check) . Boost morale on all allies]

How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Three percent of the population likes classical music, if only we could get it up to four percent we'd be back in business and all our problems would be over." How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Everybody loves classical music! They just haven't found out about it yet!" It's an entirely different world. It's what you make of it that counts.

I found an easy way to find out if you've inspired someone. If their eyes are shining, you know you're doing it!

Chip crawled under the turret hood as Greshken held it up as a hail of bullets was being rained down upon the barn. Greshken was bracing against every bullet that found it's way to him, Chip continued working knowing Greshken may drop this cannon soon if his arm is injured too much.

Chip found the wire that would of led from the trigger in the console as well as the wire that ran from the firing mechanism. Using his magic he pulled them out further so they are easily accessible. Greshken continued shouting as Chip was loading a shell into the cannon chamber.

As Greshken yelled his last words Chip felt more motivated to follow him into combat "Damn it, you all are going to be the death of me." he said with a smirk on his face.

Chip got a shell loaded in the chamber "Alright, here we go Greshken!" Chip shouted as he touched the wires together while jumping out from under the cannon just in case.

@@Scribblegroove,@@Defender of Tomorrow,

The cannon lurched back launching a shell into the air heading directly for one of the airships above.

As Chip was out from under the turret hood he felt a sharp pain in his leg. He looked back and he had taken a bullet to his thigh, his armor took most of the damage but Chip's leg was still badly injured. He jumped back under the turret hood beginning to load another shell.

Two of the marauders advanced to the second floor, the rest of them stood behind, their guns pointing towards the front door. "Open door! Give us the pendant and we will not harm you!" The two marauders looked at each other, they had no intention of sparing anypony.

Greshken's voice boomed through the air, a tinge of anger carried with it. The marauders weren't intimidated by his shouting, but rather put on higher alert, taking more caution with their actions. Synthetic laughter could be heard coming from the smaller airship, it was abruptly cut off as the projectile fired from the cannon closed in. The larger airship maneuvered in front of the smaller airship, the projectile detonated upon impact, smoke and fire enveloped the ship. The smoke subsided rather quickly, both the ships remained in the air, the larger one emitting violent sparks outwards as the not so transparent shield absorbed the majority of the damage. A single missile fired back at the barn, following the trajectory of the cannon's projectile for a more accurate hit.

As chip peered out from under the turret hood when the projectile impacted the ship, he saw the ship undamaged but saw sparking from near the impact zone. "A shield, these bastards are well equipped enough to have shielded vessels?" He said to himself .

As Chip was peering out from underneath the turret hood he saw the ship fired a missile heading toward his position. "Fuck missile Gresh! Run!" Chip yelled running out of the barn against the pain of his wound.

Chip was able to depart the barn quickly enough and duck down behind a rock with it between him and the barn.

Crackshot perked up as he heard Greshken's booming voice drown out the airship's engines. For some reason, he felt much more pumped after hearing the speech, and he gave Persuasion a final cock before making his move.

If Aile is smart, she'll have barricaded herself inside whatever room she's in. That'll buy her some time. Some marauders were occupying the bottom floor, which might give them some trouble should they go for the stairs right away.

"There might be fewer up there than down here," he told Ezekiel, glancing back inside, "I'll run in and get their attention while you take care of anypony upstairs. See if you can find Aile while you're at it. Unicorn, mare, probably won't try to kill you."

He glanced back to the zebra, then to his sword. "Think that can take on power armour?"

He glanced back to the zebra, then to his sword. "Think that can take on power armour?"

"Armor is only a heavier hide, don't fight it, but the pony inside." Ezekiel assured, reading his stance to follow Crackshot, when he breached the door, Ezekiel would run to the stairs and make his way to the second floor.

Again, the close quarters of the house may make Ezekiel's sword swings unfeasible, but the same would apply to clunky battle saddles.

Crackshot nodded with a small smirk. He liked that answer. It's just glorified armour, and Persuasion can cut through it, no problem. At least through the helmet.

He lowered himself down and prepared to sprint inside. He took a quick glance to Ezekiel to make sure he was watching him. He looked back to a marauder, who stupidly had his ass turned to him.

"One...two..." he mouthed.

He didn't even bother with three, he simply darted inside. The armoured invader turned around just in time to get a round of spread shot blasted in his helmet, cracking through the eye shield and stuffing his face with lead and glass.

Right for the eyes.

The attack alarmed the other marauders downstairs, who came in guns blazing at him. He took cover behind the wall next to the stairs, motioning for Ezekiel to move in.

Ezekiel rolled in behind Crackshot and sprinted for the steps. Buck and bullets peppered the space where he once was. He turned the corner and two armored ponies stood in front of the door. One tried to wheel about and bring his weapon to bare but Ezekiel lunged for him and stuck to his neck plate.

The attacker tried to kick the zebra off with his forelegs but Ezekiel blocked each kick with his hind legs. The other armored earth pony behind the first couldn't shoot for fear of injuring his friend. Ezekiel swung his lower body under the pony, the momentum and weight of his armor sending him rolling back and tumbling down the stairs.

Ezekiel scooped Khalid from it's sheath at his side and sent the pommel into the pony's helmet, the vibrations rattling and staggering him, the shaman spun on his hooves, slid the blade under his enemy's stomach, transiting the grip from hoof to mouth, and then pulled hard.

The earth pony's blood ran like a river on the wooden planks.

(Perception 7, Mechanics 55, Science 55, Flight lvl 3.) Dashia flys around the ships looking for the shield emitters. She makes sure to be fast enough to not get hit and close enough to cause a lack of accuracy in their targeting systems, but slow enough to examine where their shield emitters are.

"Son of a BITCH!!"  The Marauder roared as he was pelted in the face with a shell, his right eye piece shattering, badly injuring the right portion of his face and taking his vision for that eye, he immediately charged Crackshot in an attempt to knock him down to the ground, it was going to take more than one shot to bring any of these Marauders down. The rest of the Marauders used this opportunity to close in on Crackshot, rushing quickly to close proximity, their guns pointed at the stairs and at their own ally, patiently waiting for him to subdue Crackshot or be

killed.

The sliding door of the smaller airship swung open, four unicorn ponies were added into the mix now. Each donned a lighter variation of the marauder's power armor, save for the helmet which was replaced with a spell-assist visor to drastically increase their chances of hitting spells. One unicorn began to cast an advanced storm cloud spell, the cloud began forming over the house, electricity was emitted from the cloud, is seemed to be storing it's energy for a concentrated lighting strike. Two of them had already had their 'cold' spell all charged up and unleashed it on Dashia, accuracy was not an issue for this spell as it was affecting a large area already. The last pony cast his spell on both of their ships to protect themselves from their own artificial and extreme weather conditions.

Dashia dipped onto the other side of the ship and useing her speed broke off. "Chip! They have storm casters. Incoming cold and lightning. I can't find the shield emmiters so I think it time for plan B. Which is The room Aile will be in? In and out full retreat for now. As the saying goes he who fight dies but he who tactically withdraws lives to fight another day."

Dashia banks down low. And fast even with the second story Windows and closing her wings tight she attempts to go threw the window with a barrel roll.(FP 80 used, Flight 3, Agility 9 wing plates protect wings when wing are closed. Armor DT 17.)

With a grin Greshken felt the recoil of the giant weapon in his arms. The Shell was fired at the ship, and he knew it was going to hit target. Then the other ship blocked the shot. He groaned. The shields would be far too difficult to penetrate. There was no way those ships were going down. Looking at the gun, he got an idea.

Then the missile was fired. Chip made a run for it. Greshken tossed the cannon away, making sure the weapon wouldn't be destroyed by the blast. He turned his face to the sky and screamed. At first it seemed like a cry, but soon the soldiers would realise it was actually laughter. He spread his arms and welcomed the missile with open arms.

540 Damage, 800 rads over 16 seconds]

The missile hasn't directly got Greshken. If it had, he would've been killed. He was engulfed in a mushroom cloud that filled the air next to the barn with smoke. He had disappeared from sight, but he wasn't dead quite yet.

The radiation hit him hard, and he could feel himself being weakened. With a crippled leg he stumbled away from where he had been smashed into the ground, nearly crawling. He tried to remain hidden for as long as possible (sneak 65). He knew that in a matter of seconds he'd be at fighting capacity again. His fleshwounds were slowly closing. Broken bones were mending. He could feel the regenerative powers of the radiation strengthen him. (Rad child, 8hp per second regen)

He was gasping for air. Everything hurt. His body had been torn to pieces, but regenerating it all back hurt even more. He tried not to scream, making sure that his enemies didn't notice him so he could regenerate for as long as possible. He made his way to the shed and his there for a moment, sitting, gasping and recovering. He had to get back to fighting as soon as possible, but he could only win with the advantage of surprise.

Chip from behind the rock couldn't hear his radio from within is bag over the sound of the high caliber guns still peppering the area. As he sat there he begun removing the bullet from his leg with his magic careful not to make the wound worse. As soon as he had the bullet out he heard what almost seemed like laughter from Greshken followed by a massive explosion behind him.

The missile had made contact with the barn destroying what remained of the barn sending debris flying in every direction. "Damn it, did Greshken make it out of there?" He asked peering around the rock he was behind seeing if he could see through the smoke.

Unable to see anything Chip returned back behind the rock pulling out some scrap wire he had in his bag. Using the wire he tied it around his leg to cut of the circulation for now to slow the bleeding. "Crap what do I do now, if I fire a single rifle shot I'll be peppered by bullets from those airships and with the caliber they're running they might be able to chip away this rock until they get to me... or they might fire another missile" He asked himself trying to think over every action he could do as he brought his hooves to the side of his head. "Uhhh, I can't just let them fight on their own... damn it what do I do?"

Crackshot smirked darkly as the marauder roared, and let out a grunt as he was charged to the ground.

"Gah!" He gasped, the air being knocked out of him.

He rolled onto his hooves, only to find himself surrounded by these armoured goons, guns aimed at the stairs and to their ally.

Like they were waiting for one to finish off the other.

A little audience.

The unicorn twisted his neck, clicking and popping the joints, as he raised the combat shotgun back up. Aimed right for the broken eye piece.

"Your move, bright eyes." He dared.

Chip finally calmed down and decided he should provide some assistance even if he get attention drawn to him. He took his rifle off his back and aimed it back at the farmhouse peering through the broken out windows.

Thanks to his new scope he could easily make out one of these assault ponies had crackshot pinned down on the ground.

Chip took in a breath and then exhaled to steady his shot, he fired for the pony on top of Crackshot aiming for the broken visor of his helmet. The shot hit its mark and the pony's head reared back. The pony then fell to the ground, after that Chip ducked down behind his rock again, peering around the side away from the farmhouse to keep an eye on the air ships.

Ezekiel wiped off Khalid and sheathed the sword. He hoped knocking on the door would be a gesture that showed some good will.

"Hello little one? Don't be afraid, I mean you no harm and I don't have a gun. You're with Crackshot and the group? He sent me up here to return you to their little troop."

Before the hulking pony could respond a bullet dug its way inside of his head, his body recoiling back just slightly and going limp. His massive form was left on top of Crackshot, the other Marauders keeping their weapons pointed at him, in particular at his head. "Looks like it's your move, kid." One of the Marauders taunted, the others snickering. The Marauder grunted as he forced himself up on his feet after being outplayed by Zeke, he wasn't going to take another chance with close combat with him and stood at the bottom of the stairs, his weapons at the ready.

"Who the hell are you? How do I know you're really with Crackshot?! I'm not opening this door!" Aile was frantic and not thinking clearly, she didn't understand why the hell these ponies were after her, and more importantly why the hell they were trying to speak with an accent the second time around. Enough time had passed for the cloud that was situated above the roof of the house to charge its electricity, the Unicorn controlling it carefully observed Aile, seeing as she was standing still he unleashed the power from the cloud, a single lighting strike exploded the roof of the house and made contact with Aile, electrocuting her. She fell to the floor, the pendant cracking, a small device escaping from the small crack, the unicorn immediately enveloped the pendant in his magic, quickly bringing it back to him.

Crackshot blinked as the Marauder was knocked off his feet by a gunshot, toppled onto him, then turned to glance at the window.

Chip. A ghost of a smirk escaped him. Even with an airship looming over him, the kid still had his back. He made sure to repay him once he got the hell out of here.

He turned his attention back to his 'captors', snickering as one of them made a comment. His head lowered, and the smirk on his lips grew wider and toothier.

"I don't think you shitheads have heard of me," he chuckled darkly, cocking Persuasion, "When you all see your friend in Tartarus, tell him Crackshot of the Bloodrust Clan said he's still a little bitch."

Without warning, he dropped the combat shotgun from his magical field and grabbed the dead Marauder's weapon, opening rapid fire on the Marauders while spinning it around. He kept well beneath the dead Marauder, using his power armour as a shield.

Chip noticed that the ships didn't focus their attention on him after his shot, after he returned back behind the rock he heard a loud BANG!

Chip glanced over at the farmhouse and the roof had been destroyed with lighting. He saw the ship was right above the roof with the unicorns still standing on the edge of the ship's hatch. "Damn it as long as they have shield generators my weapon will never get to those unicorns, I can at least still help Crackshot." he said to himself, looking back down his scope at the farmhouse.

He aimed his sights on another of the armored marauders inside the farmhouse, when suddenly Crackshot took the gun of one of the fallen marauders and begun firing randomly. Chip still took a shot at the mask of one of the marauders, the shot hit his face mask causing his head to rear back for a second.
