Tyra arrived at the centre of the room, and saw Caramel collapsed in the middle of the room.

 

Right away, she sprinted over and hoisted her onto her back, and ran right back to the others.

"We must return to the ship and get as far away from here as possible!" She warned them, then looked to the collapsed pegasus on her back, "I pray to the gods that she is still okay..."

The tea mysteriously didnt work this time. he put it back in his pack and followed slowly.... there was no other exit... that means they were going to catch her..... no need to hurry now is there? The corridor was pretty dark, yet the walls were decorated in beautiful writing. Then he sees her on the ground...

"Oh my... I might have something to help with the... waking up... does she have a pulse?"

Spellbind was shocked at what happened. She blamed herself for it for getting angry with Caramel instead of supporting her. And now she didn't know how she could help out with this, so she went into a small cavern in the wall.

 

She started to sob, then grabbed a sharp rock and started to cut and injure herself with it. This caused more tears and grunt of pain and tiny squeals, but she kept on doing it. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" she told herself as she continued to give herself cuts and mutilations.

Scarlett sat there and the. began getting angrier and angrier. As she went on her horn began to glow unusually bright, she then herself began to glow.

 

Not moments later, she opened her glowing white eyes and screamed and in a flash, they were all back on the boat.

 

Scarlett lay bearly alive on the deck, unconscious.

'Not that im a good doctor or anything... but i know some basics."

He pulled out alot of medical substances he carried with him to the ruins and back. 

"She got a pulse.... thats good.... no breathing not so good... we need to get this..." he pulled out a bottle, "in her lungs.... if these fumes dont wake her.... i do not know what would..... we need to get her breathing.... we need... Rave to..." he gestured the mouth-to-mouth CPR,"more than that, i do not know."

He looked at Scarlette.... did a quick check

"She only needs to be warm... and rest. Where was her room again?"

Tyra suddenly found herself, and the others, back on the ship. She felt a little nauseous, so it had to be magic.

 

She gently let Caramel down on the deck so Lordy could have a closer look at her.

"I hope now that dark presence has finally left her," she muttered, and looked to the others, "We should leave, now."

Scarlett, as weak as she was managed to squeak out the words "Push down... on her chest... Get the air... Flowing... Back into her lungs... Her body should take...over, again..."

 

She then slips back into a sleep, one of which she cannot be woken from via conventional means.

Caramel woke up, laying on the ship. Finally breathing. She looked around her, everypony looked worried and tired. "What....What happened? Why am I laying here on deck?" Caramel looked around confused. "Last thing I can remember is...uhm...waking up this morning next to....where is Rave?"

Rave was in his room, shaking. He had not been able to save Caramel, he had not been able to help her. All his companions had gone on their own, even though he had told them to stick with him. Caramel could have died and it was all his fault, he should have been more supportive. He had failed his Captain.

Spellbind had been teleported as well when the spell was cast and she looked at Caramel wake up, then tried to sneak away. She hid in her room and sat down on the bed and wept. Not because the cuts she had given herself hurt, rather because she felt she was partly responsible for what had happened.

"I think the captain needs some rest as well. You were... Not yourself m'am..." He said as he picked up scarlett to take her to her room. All this blasted magic happenings... Perhaps it was a good thing he had no access to it. It seems that it makes more bad than good.

"Aye, you were talking about 'saving your master' or some such," Tyra confirmed, sitting at Caramel's side, "We all tried to help you, but you yelled that we were no friends of yours. I did not believe it though, you did not look yourself."

 

She fixed her with a soft but stern look. "Perhaps it is best we put as much distance between ourselves and this island as possible, Captain."

"Master? Magic? I don't understand." Caramel said confused. She looked at Tyra "what happened? You're hurt, you got a cut. Did....did I do that?" Caramel said feeling guilty even though she couldn't remember. "And where is Rave? Did he get hurt too? Oh dear, he isn't dead is he?" Caramel said as she looked around in panic.

Spellbind had finally gotten the courage and willower to come back out the room and join everypony else. Cut and bruised all over she went up and looked at Caramel. "Captain..." she said. "Do you know what you meant when you said all those things?" The Captain seemed calmer now compared to before.

"Oh do not fret, this is nothing," Tyra grinned, putting a hoof to her cheek, "Besides, you were not yourself when it happened."

 

She smiled and shook her head. "Nay, he is well. In fact, he led the charge to come after you! I think he felt guilty about what had happened to you, and so retired to his room to reconcile."

 

She helped the pegasus onto her hooves. "You are lucky to have such a caring coltfriend." She winked.

"Coltfriend...what are ye talking about? I no nothing about that. I don't remember." Caramel said blushing. "She hugged Tyra and then spellblind. " I'm sorry for all the pain I may have caused. I hope you all can forgive me one day." Caramel said as she looked at the ground, full of shame and regret.

"My friend, you are already forgiven," Tyra smiled, happily returning the hug, "Though, I would suggest you see Rave. He will want to know you are safe."

 

She looked over to Spellbind, and gasped at her wounds.

"Sleipnir's mane, Spellbind!" She exclaimed, dashing up to the unicorn, "What happened to you?!"

"I will go and look for him. " Caramel said as she walked below deck. "Rave, are ye around here? I need to talk to ye. Rave?" Caramel said as she walked towards him room. She knocked on his door "Rave, are ye in here?" She said waiting for him to open the door, for his responds.

Rave sighed and the door with his magic, but did not look at her. He was looking in the other direction. He waited until he was sure she was inside. "I am sorry for failing you. I should have stood by your side and not increased your stress and worry. I am also sorry for failing you at the ruins, if it had not been for the others, I don't know what would have happened".

"It wasn't Caramel who caused these wounds," said Spellbind. "They were not caused by accident either. I feel it was at least partly my fault what happened back there. I wasn't helping Caramel's emotional state or being tolerant. So I had to punish myself."

"You did nothing worthy of punishment!" Tyra yelled, concerned for her friend, "Especially not of punishment like this!"

 

She dashed to the top of the stairs and waited for her to follow, a frantic look of concern on her face.

"Come, we will look in the medical room for ways to heal your wounds!"

"Rave, I don't remember anything and if I did, it doesn't matter. All that matters is that yer okay. And besides, everything that happened was all my faul.t Dont balme yerself for something ye didnt do" Caramel said as she hugged him. "Come on, lets get back to the rest upstairs." She said with a smile.

Rave gave her a little smile and turned to her. "Well, a lot of things happened, and I feel I should have done more. But I guess that we should meet up with the others, I haven't talked to anyone ever since you were brought back to the ship". He motioned himself by the door, ready to go with her to meet the others.

Spellbind stayed where she was. "Yes I did! Caramel was clearly under emotional distress and I didn't show her proper consideration! I was just cruel when I should have been kind and thought about what I could have done. This is why I have to correct myself."

"No," Tyra answered sternly, shaking her head, "We were all under pressure, myself included. You did nothing wrong."

 

She nodded toward the stairs, speaking much more softly as she continued. "Come friend, let us tend to your wounds. I do not like seeing a friend in such a way."
