Caramel turned around as she heard a sound of splashing water. "What the hell kind of trick was that Scarlett? And what on Equestria are ye wearing?" Caramel said as she looked at her, confused by everything that happened. "Seriously, how did ye just disappear and then appear again? Some kind of dark magic?"

"By the name & power of God! " Lordy exclaims and jumps backwards, since he was sitting his chair topples over. What was that... Perhaps he drank too much... None of the legends talked about magics of invisibility. As he stood up a clear look of confusing was on his face.

"Sleipnir's mane!" Tyra exclaimed, stumbling back as Scarlett suddenly appeared before them, "How in the world did you do that?! Some kind of magic ability?!"

 

A bit of Spellbind's water splashed onto her, but a quick rigorous shake got rid of it quickly enough.

Realizing that it was probably about time she told them about her past, she sits down on one of the chairs left vacant by the others.

 

She says "I have something very important to tell all of you. And it's something you should all probably be sitting down for."

"WHOA!!!!!" yelled Spellbind, vastly surprised when Scarlett appeared before her, and she jumped high into the air out of shock. This resulted in her head going through the ceiling and getting stuck there, leaving the rest of her body dangling from the ceiling.

Caramel sat back down. "I'm listening. Talk." Caramel said, not trusting Scarlett. She was always a strange one but now Caramel was really getting her suspicions. Caramel looked above her at the sealing, toward Spellblind. "You okay there? Ye don't look so good up there."

Seeing hints of mistrust in Caramel's eyes, Scarlett begins. "There is no easy way of saying this, so I'm going to take the long way round. I'm assuming you've all heard me say weird things and then 'correct' them right? Like how I keep saying things haven't been invented yet. Well this suit, also hasn't been invented yet."

 

Pausing, she keeps trying to say something and keeps stopping. She looks down, shakes her head and quickly says "Caramel, I'm from the future"

 

From this point she does not make eye contact with any of them.

 

"And I think Rave suspected it" (<-- Reference to where he saw something in Scarlett's eyes)

Even though her head was stuck in the ceiling, Spellbind was able to hear all that Scarlett was saying. And it goes without saying she was very surprised at the revelation. "WAIT, WH-" She fell from the ceiling and landed on the table. She sat up and resumed.

"-AT?????"

"Future? I knew there was something off about ye. I never should've trust ye. Did we really find ye on accident or did ye teleport here to us for a reason. Are ye after me? After us? Are ye some kinda spy or something?." Caramel said angry as she walked towards Scarlett. "Don't ye dare move."

Scarlett sighs at Caramel's reponse "What do you mean off? Yes you found me by accident, no I'm not after you or your friends, no I'm not a spy and what are you going to do if I move."

 

She grins "Especially if you cant see me"

 

Her hoof shoots up to her neck as she goes invisible again and runs past them all up onto the deck.

After following the orders he was given, lordy got on the main deck

"Woah... Woah... Future... How."

Lordy was surprised, but after hereing the attacks, the 'protect a mare' hentelcolt code jumped in,

"But wait... Why are you attacking her? I mean... Yes she might not be from here... Or this time... But she did help us disnt she... I mean if she wanted to do harm... She wouldve already did."

Rave was looking where the others had went. It was the second time he felt completely abandoned, when he was run over something he did not see. "Hey! What the---- WHAT??? What the hay is going on here". He started to look around, casting magic around the area, really annoyed.

As Scarlett is running onto the top deck she narrowly avoids being hit by some of Rave's magic exclaiming "shit" as she carries on running to the back of the ship. Sitting down invisible she starts wondering what she should do now, it wasn't like she could go anywhere.

Caramel got angry as Scarlett ran away. She heard Rave yelling down the hall and blasting magic. "She went to the main deck. Lets go." Caramel said as she ran out of the kitchen into the hallway. "Rave, could ye please stop blasting magic everywhere. Good. Are ye okay? What happened?"

"Uhm, I was not blasting everywhere, it was.... uhm... targeted magic... I got struck by something I could not see. I suspect invisibility. It has been seen before.... I mean unseen... I mean.... never mind. It just has been taken note of before, however, it is not common magic".

Scarlett is sitting at the back of the ship on the top deck. She has nothing to do but think her own thoughts. She turns around looking out at the open sea, she realizes that there was nowhere to run. She can't just escape from this one, she was on a ship int he middle of nowhere.

Caramel helped Rave stand up straight. "I'm just glad yer okay. I thought something bad happened to ye." Caramel said as she gave Rave a quick hug and then started running up stairs. "Come on, she might still be here." Caramel said as she ran on deck. "Scarlett, stop hiding, I don't wanna hurt ye. Yer a friend, I was wrong. Please don't go."

Tyra blinked at this revelation, finding it almost impossible to believe.

"Future? But how is that possible?!" She exclaimed, sitting on her haunches and flailing her forelegs, "It is thought to be impossible to do such a thing!"

 

And yet, she claims it to be so. But how?

Trotting towards Rave and Caramel she decides that there was no point trying to escape. She stops beside them and says "It's uncommon because ponies don't utilize it for another few decades."

 

She once again does the usual to uncloak next to the two and says "Now what,"

Rave was a bit surprised by Caramel's hug since he had been feeling a lot distant from her. He nearly shed a tear, but he held his composure. He looked as Scarlett approached them. He did not wear a happy face when she explained her situation, but he still understood what was going on now.

"If we had some of those... Thousands of lives would be save in battle. The lines would be invisible... No one will know where to fire... Until it would be too late..." But he thought..."how... I mean paradixes and stuff... No? How does it work... I mean... Now i realize all that weapon talk but... How?"

Caramel looked at Rave for a second and then looked back at Scarlett "Now, ye tell us the truth. All of the truth. I lost my trust in you. Try to convince me, try winning back my trust." Caramel said as she sat down in front of Scarlett. "Tell me, what are ye doing here and where did ye come from." Caramel said with a serious look.

Wilhelm, through all of this, calmly continued to eat. It was not unreasonable that Scarlett was from the future, especially with some of the books he found in her bags when he was carrying her and whatever she was carrying fell out. He had to admit it was a reassurance that most of his theories turned out to be correct, though he couldn't imagine where he went wrong with the only one he screwed up.

 

While everyone rushed up on the deck to chase Scarlett, Wilhelm opened a science fiction novel and began to read, muttering a diatribe about genetic engineering and the superiority nullification principle's ethics under his breath between bites of food.

Caramel looked at Rave for a second and then looked back at Scarlett "Now, ye tell us the truth. All of the truth. I lost my trust in you. Try to convince me, try winning back my trust." Caramel said as she sat down in front of Scarlett. "Tell me, what are ye doing here and where did ye come from." Caramel said with a serious look.

"Some of the places I mention you might not recognize, as they don't exist yet."

 

Pausing for a moment, she continues:

 

"On one trip to Old Appleoosa I caught sight of a few ponies that seemed to stand out. After following them for the next few months I got caught on the edge of the megaspell blast. I woke up about 3 hours later, which was actually many years in the past. I had accidentally travelled back in time in a megaspell fluke, just after the time of Nightmare Moon's second defeat.

 

For the past year I has been constructing a house near the Equestrian border, which I then realized was the house that I was living in back in my relative present. Nobody knows I live there due to the fact that because nobody would believe me, I keep a very low profile and make sure that ponies know as little about me as possible.

 

The one thing I managed to bring with me was a small satchel/tool bag and two small metal spheres with decals of my cutie mark on them, as well as my CPS Suit, Service Weapon and Multitool. I make monthly trips to Ponyville to gather supplies, which I still find disconcerting due to her past (technically future) experiences of the area. To this day I know not why the megaspell sent me back in time, nor what caused it.

 

I do know a few spells that are quite amazing, considering that they haven’t been invented yet. They include "embedding" spells and magic in objects, and charging them to act as an external magic storage. This enables me to perform long range teleportation, which is also the reason I ended up teleporting near you guys. After being rescues by two of your crew, well, you know the rest"

"Woah, that's a very long story and I'm still a bit confused. But I'm also glad ye told me." Caramel said as she hugged Scarlett. "I'm sorry I got mad back there. I just really don't like it when ponies lie to me." Caramel said as she got up. "I could really use a drink right no." Caramel said after all what happened.
