All those tech-words entered one of Lordy's ear and exited the other...

"Whaaa?" Was the only thought that entered his mind

He had no idea about Equestra, no knowladge of magic.... All this was... Gibberish to him.

"So... You ran... Took some stuff and came here? For short..."

"Woah, that's a very long story and I'm still a bit confused. But I'm also glad ye told me." Caramel said as she hugged Scarlett. "I'm sorry I got mad back there. I just really don't like it when ponies lie to me." Caramel said as she got up. "I could really use a drink right no." Caramel said after all what happened.

In response Scarlett teleports the "booze" from Caramel's room and levitates it over to her. The then realises that Caramel thought that she lied to her. "I actually didn't lie about anything. You never actually asked me about where I was from or who I was, so I didn't actually lie to you."

"Well... She didnt exactly lie... I mean she never said where she came from did she? So... It was just keeping information to yourself... Something that i do quite often as... Yeah. One should not jump and acuse someone of lying when her or she has not actually said anything to make us think otherwise."

"Withholding information about yerself is almost the same as lying, but yer right. I should've asked first and I was wrong." Caramel said as she smiled when she grabbed the bottle of rum with her hoofs. She took a sip. She offered it to Scarlett. :Ye want some too? I would love to share a drink with everypony."

Scarlett pushed it back towards Caramel with her magic, set her saddlebag down and opened it. Covered in her magic aura she pulled out some canteens that she brought from the future "I believe this rum won't be created for another few years. Care to try some?"

"So... You can jump in time like whenever you want, wherever you want? As that would be ... Forgive my language but i have no other word... Awsome." Lordy asked.

"How is the world back then... Can all ponies fly. Do they have huge tall buildings... Is like... Misery eradicated?"

"Never say no to good rum." Caramel said as she took a sip of the rum Scarlett offered. "Woah, that is some good stuff. Not the best but certainly very good." Caramel smiled as she took another sip. She looked behind her. The sun was setting and a sudden breeze appeared with thick thunder clouds rumbling. "No time for drinks, Rave, Lordy Scarlett. Close the sails. Storm is coming." Caramel said as she ran towards the steering wheel.

Rave moved into action and started to work on the sails. His horn glowed and the sails were enveloped in his magic. "Give me a hoof here. I am not feeling very confident at the moment". He had a bit of a headache. "Why do I have to get a headache right now?"he thought to himself.

Confused by the question she responds "Do you even know what a mega spell is?!?! No wait, you wouldn't. I hate time travel..."

 

Almost angered by the obliviousness of Lordy she responds "Not back then. In the future. It may be further ahead in time, but we didn't move forwards. I'd prefer not to go into it more than stating that by a decade or so before my birth, the population of Equestria had dropped by 98.9%"

 

Turning to Caramel she says "look at the label Caramel. I think it may interest you" (Caramel's name is on the label because it was brewed for her).

 

Seeing the storm clouds she says "Caramel's right, lets do this."

 

Where she'd usually just pulls up instruction on her CMR, she decided to keep it off. Rather embarrassingly, she says "What do I do?"

 

Scarlett sends a pulse of pain magic into Rave. "That should help"

"Theres only two things that could cause somethingike hat... Diesease... Or war... The plague of ponykind. Has it corrupted the future... It mustve spread here from... Home."

 

As soon as Caramel speaks of the storm, he salutes.

"Right away captain, ready for duty, awaiting your orders. What am I to do?"

"No time for looking at labels right now Scarlett. Help Rave with closing up the sails. Lordy, get the others, we need to prepare for the worst. Get everything ready." Caramel said as it started raining, a lot. She was trying to steer the ship but the wheel kept turning the other way as the big waves of the sea crashed against the ship.

Tyra put a hoof to her helmet as she felt a breeze brush against her helmet. Indeed, dark clouds were on the horizon, so the ship had to move.

 

She overheard Caramel giving out instructions, and trotted up to the captain. "What will you have me do?"

"Right away captain."

 

He missed doing this, his old gentlemanish, formal accent was gone. He now talked in a strict, millitary, drill manner.

"All hoofs on deck! Come on! At the double! Stop laying around like spineless fish! To your stations, now! One, Two, One Two... Come on!"

 

He cleared his voice a bit, returning to his normal accent

"Oh, i am dreadfully sorry... Got carries away there a bit..."

The storm was getting worse. Now thunder was coming from the sky. Caramel stood still, frozen.Thunder scared her. She was not moving as the thunder got closer to the ship, setting one of the sails on fire., the sail that Caramel was standing under.

Upon seeing the sail get set on fire, Scarlett starts sprinting towards Caramel and shouting "Run! Captain Caramel, run!. The sail began to fall just as Scarlett pushed Caramel away.

 

The giant falling burning sail lands right on top of Scarlett, smothering her in flaming cloth.

Rave goes into action, ignoring his headache. He uses his magic to lift the burning sail off of Scarlett. "Come on, come one" he says behind his gritted teeth with frustration as he is pushing his magic. "No one is dying now" he lifts of the sail and runs over to Scarlett.

"SCAAARRRLEEETT!" screamed Spellbind with pure horror as the flaming sail landed on her. Spellbind was determined to save Scarlett and chucked a bucket of water over the flaming cloth right before Rave yanked it off with magic.

Scarlett pushes the rest of the burning sail off her "For Luna's sake guys, stop shouting, I'm right here!"

 

She stands up and a sheen of purple light runs over her suit where the flames touch it. "It's not like I was going to actually die or anything. I'm not letting you get rid of me that easily."

"Let me see her!" Lordy came over tunning with a bucket of water (rainwater). "We need to cool her down first!" He throws the water over her. Then he sees shes awake,

"Oh... You are alright" he hides the water bucket, "i am dreadfully sorry for the water"

"Check if shes breathing, the heat mightve damaged her lungs!"

Scarlett, still dry reflects the water back at Lordy says "Of course I'm still breathing! Now help me and the others get rid of this sail so that we can get going again and get out of this storm! I'll take care of Caramel"

 

Scarlett goes over to Caramel and takes her to her room below deck.

Without moving, Caramel was picked up by Scarlett and left in her room.

Spellbind frantically tried to decide how she could be of help when she saw Caramel was frozen. She picked the captain up with magic and well as her own physical strength and tried to get her to a safe place.

While trying to extinguish the sail. Lordy was caught off balance by a wave that hit the ships. He couldnt maintain his balance and slipped. Unable to catch the railing he fell in the furious sea below. The waves imidiately started pulling him away.

Spellbind saw what happened to Lordy was was horrified beyond belief. She tried to do a levitation spell but she didn't have the strength to lift up Lordy. She threw a rope overboard. "GRAB ON!!!!!" she screamed, though the nosie most likely blocked her out.

Her question falling on deaf ears, Tyra ran around the deck, trying to find ways to make herself useful.

She glanced up to the helm, seeing Caramel had frozen from fear, while a sail burned above her.

 

And it was about to topple over onto her.

 

Quickly, she sprinted up to the wheel and tackled the pegasus, getting her out of harm's way before the beam crushed her.

"Are you well, friend?!"  She yelped.
