Tyra lifted a piece of wood up toward Caramel, whose praise left her with a proud smirk on her face.

It quickly turned into a look of bewilderment as Scarlett lifted her into the air with her magic and plopped her back down.

 

"I regret I am not exactly strong against magic," she admitted quietly.

 

Her smirk returned as Spellbind called her a force to be reckoned with. "My thanks, often I have been referred to as such!"

Caramel grabbed the piece of wood on the top. "Alright, Tyra, just keep holding it like this. Spellblind and Scarlett, when yer ready, try attaching it. Caramel said flapping her wings while still holding the wood. "I am ready when you are." Caramel nodded with a smile.

Scarlett, not seeing any tools close to her, started shooting a small beam of magic to fuse the wood together. It was a painfully slow process, so she said "If you've got any bolts that might do just as good you know. Or someone could boost my magic a little."

Rave stepped forth and brought his magic into play. He linked his magic with Scarlett's magic and started to lend her his magic. "You can use some of my magic, but don't drain it all" he told her. He was doing this since he might as well be of some use rather than none.

With Rave's help, Scarlett finished fusing the wood together. Before Rave unlinked his magic however, Scarlett ran a quick check and discovered something unnerving. She had a slight look of recognition with a little confusion as she looked at Rave before realizing her expression, returning it to neutral and looking over to Caramel. "We're done here Cap"

Rave got a similar feeling like when he had looked into Scarlett's eyes once. "Huh, weird" he mumbled to himself. He then looked to Caramel. "Is there anything more that needs to be done? Anything that I can be an assistance of?". He wanted to help, but if there was nothing more required of him, he would go and prepare the date.

"We still need to attach the sail to the mast." Caramel said as she flew down, landing next to Rave. "If somepony could get me some robe I can do that." Caramel said smiling. "After we're done here, I want everypony to go downstairs to the kitchen. Get a drink, I got some things to say."

Scarlett forgets she's wearing the suit for a moment and temporarily blinks out of existance. Reappearing not a moment later the hits the ground and lets out a moan. "How did I even forget I as wearing this thing. Could sompony else get the rope? I think I'll start making my way downstairs..."

Wilhelm stood up from where he had been working at the drainage holes, stretched his back, and got Caramel some rope from his materials pile. "Here you go; 100% actual rope, guaranteed warrantee on rope for never, because the rope insurance industry is really bad these days." He joke-bowed and hoofed over the coil of rope.

"Thank you Wilhelm." Caramel grabbed the rope and the sail a flew up the mast. Making all different kinds of knots she finally attached the sail. "That should it for a while." Caramel said smiling as she looked proudly at the mast. She then walked to the the kitchen, below deck.

Rave approached Tyra after Caramel was gone. "Hey Tyra. Do you perhaps know how to make cookies?" he asked a little bit embarrassed. "I want to make some for Caramel. I thought it would be.... romantic" he said blushing a bit. "She does like cookies, why not make some for her. The problem is that I have never made cookies before, I don't know the ingredients".

As nopony told him to do anything( :okiedokielokie: ), surely due to the fact they saw he was ill ( :okiedokielokie: ), Lordy shrugged a bit and made for the underdeck. He still found it a bit hard to maintain his balance as he was terrible deshydrated from his exoerience. A drink would really do him well now.

"Cookies?" Tyra repeated, blinking up at Rave, then tapped her temple with her hoof in thought, "Um...I do recall visiting a shop in a place called Ponyville. It was called Sugar...something."

 

She shook her head. "Regardless, I remember a rather excited earth pony hopping around- literally -and singing about them. I remember things like...flowers...chips...and something about battering something...?"

Spellbind had been right near Tyra when Rave had popped his question. "Um, I know you weren't asking me, but I know how to make cookies," said Spellbind. "I would be delighted to cater for you and Caramel. You two deserve the very best..." She smiled and her lips quivered.

Rave turned to face Spellbind. "That would be great. Every bit of help is well received" he smiled. "And I thank you for those kind words. I want to help you make the cookies, would be great to learn how to make cookies myself. It might prove to be useful in the future" he chuckled.

"Of course you can!" said Spellbind. "All we need to do is get ahold of the ingredients, and then I can teach you all there is to know about cookie making!"

 

"Well, the basic stuff anyway," she giggled. "When would be a good time? I'm up for making cookies any day of the week."

"Would now be a good time?" he asked blushing a bit. "You see, I want to take Caramel on a date. I would like to do so tonight if possible". He looked from Spellbind to Tyra and from Tyra to Spellbind. "So, do you think we could do it now?" he asked her, giving her a warm smile.

Scarlett has been invisible listening in to the conversation between Rave and the other ponies. Her plan was to follow him around as much as possible to learn what she could. She wanted, needed, more validation that her suspicions were correct and that Caramel and Rave were her great grandparents.

 

Also, she didn't trust anypony else with making cookies.

Spellbind blushed with a smile that seemed as if she was about to burst out into laughter. (Not that she was, just thought it would be a fitting description) She would love to take somepony out on a date or be taken out on one...

 

"Yes..." she said in her dreamy voice.

 

She headed to the kitchen door, then stopped and turned around to look at Rave.

"Oh, um, very well," Tyra nodded, managing a smile as she felt figuratively pushed aside by Spellbind, "I feel she will be much better help in this situation!"

 

She grinned at them, at least until they went to leave. She wanted to try and help, considering Rave asked for her specifically, but perhaps it was right that Spellbind take her place.

 

But then, what could she do now...?

Caramel was sitting at the kitchen table, waiting for everypony to show up when she noticed Lordy. "Hi friend, are ye feeling well? ye don't look so good." Caramel got up from her seat and walked towards Lordy. "Do ye need help? Should I get you to the medical area?"

"I doubt that would be necessary,"

He said as he collapsed on a chair,

"I am truly flattered by you concern, yet i would... if i may dare to ask... appreciate any kind of drinkable substance, a cup of hot water would be perfect i must say..."

Caramel walked with Lordy to the table as he collapsed on the chair. "Ye want tea? I can make ye some tea. I'll get ye some tea." Caramel ran to the counter, grabbing a tea pot filled with water and put on the furnace to boil. "It will be ready shortly, what kinda tea would you like my friend."

He pulls out a small box out of his pocket and opens it, it was filled with numerous tea bags,

"My father always used to say, 'A gentlecolt without tea is like a bird with no wings, it cant survive." 

He gently takes one out and starts closing the box before stopping,

"Would you care for some?"

Rave thought that Spellbind sounded a bit absent-minded. When she stopped to look at him, he followed her. "Sorry, I am coming" he hurried himself over to where Spellbind was. "So, shall we make some cookies?" he asked with a rather excited voice. He was looking forward to making some cookies.
