"Oh thank Celestia, my savior." Caramel said laughing. "Seriously thou, thank ye Tyra, I've been hanging here for a while now, that I'm starting to feel a bit dizzy." Caramel said still hanging upside down. Caramel spread her wings in case she was going to fall down.

 

"You are most welcome, my friend," Tyra grinned, cutting through the rope with her axe.

 

She effortlessly cut through the rope and freed Caramel, returning the axe to her back.

"There you are," she grinned, "I hope you are not hurt at all, being upside down must not be pleasant after so long!"

Caramel hopped on the mast next to Tyra. "Aye, it is not pleasant but I'm alright, not a scratch." Caramel said smiling. "I better get the to the last mast to close those sails as well. Do ye need a lift down or can ye climb down yerself?" Caramel said ready to fly to the other mast.

Tyra instantly froze from Caramel's outburst, and listened to every word with surprise.

 

Quickly followed by regret. She was right, all this arguing was foolish. They had come so far together, and they were about to end it on a low note.

 

She offered Spellbind an apologetic bow of the head. "I apologise, captain. You are correct, we cannot let our differences cloud our friendship."

 

She turned to Spellbind and offered the same bow. "Please accept my apology for arguing with you, friend."

"You're forgiven, and I'm sorry for disagreeing with your opinion of killing animals for food instead of seeking help," said Spellbind. "But I think it's best we don't talk with each other. Sorry it's come to this."

"Time to steer the ship of course. Look, we're almost at the bay, it's gonna be tricky sailing there but if yer up to it, you can steer." Caramel said with a smile while pointing at the bay. "Alright could somepony close the sails, it's important that we don't sail to fast into the bay.

Caramel then turned to Spellblind. "Tyra apolagized, so should you Spellblind."

(You can just edit that out because it was more so that I was absent rather than Spellbind refusing. Also, will Unicorncob be posting a back-in-time reaction?)

Tyra smiled widely upon hearing Caramel was unharmed, and nodded. "Aye, I can get down myself!"

She hopped onto the mast pole and slowly climbed back down to return to Spellbind.

 

"You're forgiven, and I'm sorry for disagreeing with your opinion of killing animals for food instead of seeking help," said Spellbind. "But I think it's best we don't talk with each other. Sorry it's come to this."

 

Her grin faded at the backhanded apology, and she let out a snort at her last comment.

"Fine," she huffed, and walked down below deck. She needed to let off some steam.

 

She did not understand why her customs would offend her so much, but perhaps it was for the best they did not speak to each other again.

She entered the ship's training room and began swinging her axe around, grunting with exertion. Perhaps some practice would help her calm down.

Caramel wanted to talk to Spellblind but she reconsidered. It was best to leave her alone right now so she could calm down. So Caramel hopped and flew to the last mast, closing up the last sails and then landed back on deck. "This should be good enough." The ship was now really close to the bay.

"We're finally here, are ye ready to steer this ship to the docks?" Caramel asked Scarlett excited.

Also exited Scarlett replies "I was ready before I was born". She laughs a little bit and says "Lets do this" before grabbing the wheel in her hooves. She turns it a little bit to aim the bow of the ship towards the dock "You wanna give me some instructions, the only ship I've ever been on flew"

"It is pretty simple, right now the ship is heading into the right direction, if she keeps on sailing straight forward, she will line up perfectly with the docks. Then when she's almost there, I will hop off the ship and stop her so that she won't crash against the docks. Then we just tie her down, lower the anchor so she wont drift away. That is all"

Spellbind needed something else to do and to be away from Tyra and Caramel. Deep down, she wanted to break down and cry because of how she was spending their last bits of time together...

 

She saw Wilhelm. "OH MY GOSH!" she cried, and went over to him. She knelt by him. "Somepony help!" She hoped it wouldn't be Tyra or Caramel.

"I'll do my best Caramel!" she says while keeping the ship on a steady course forward. Upon hearing Spellbind shouting she says "Unless it's a medical emergency I don't have time to be dealing with it Spellbind!"

 

She was really hoping it wasn't a medical emergency, she loved piloting the ship.

Caramel heard Spellblind's scream for help. Even thou Caramel was still angry because Spellblind's behavior from earlier, she could not ignore a cry for help. "Scarlett, ye can do this, I gotta go help Spellblind." Caramel ran off towards Spellbind and Wilhelm. "What's wrong?" Caramel saw that Wilhlem was unconscious. "Not again" Caramel thought shaking her head. "He's still breathing, that is a good sign. I'll get some cold water." Caramel ran off with a bucket, dove into the sea and then came back with a bucket of water. "Ye better regain yer consciousness now or I gotta throw this water at ye bud."

"I wasn't screaming for my help, I was screaming for Wilhelm's help. I wouldn't be screaming for help from you or Tyra after what happened," said Spellbind. "Anyway, I found him passed out! I don't know the proper medical procedures!" she said. "Am I supposed to take him somewhere else? Because I remember hearing you're not supposed to do that too fast, it could disrupt things..."

"Everything is fine, I just need to bring Wilhelm to his quarters, he needs some rest. I'll be back in a minute." Caramel said as she walked off below deck. She laid down Wilhelm on his bed and covered him with a blanket. Get some rest hard worker." Caramel grabbed a pen and paper that she found on his desk and wrote a note:

 

Wilhelm,

We found ye passed out on deck so we brought ye to bed. If ye can't find us on deck, that means we already arrived at the bay and are now drinking in the prancing parrot. Meet us there.

Greetings,

Caramel and the rest of the crew.

 

Caramel laid down the note next to his bed and went back to the main deck.

As Scarlett drew the ship close to the dock, she waits worried that Caramel won't come back up.

 

Upon passing the end of the dock Scarlett shouts when Caramel comes back up onto the top deck "Hey Caramel, I've slowed down the ship a bit but I think you'll need to do your thing soon!

After a long time of swinging her axe around in the training room, Tyra decided she'd had enough letting out her anger for the day. She returned her axe to her back and took a deep breath, feeling much better.

 

She trotted out of the room and up to the deck, overhearing that the ship was nearing the port. She trotted over to the rail and looked over to see Horseshoe Bay. It would be good to be on proper land again, but she would miss everypony she had travelled with.

 

Even Spellbind.

Caramel waited until the ship got close. She put her hoofs against the ship with all her strength, pushing her back so it didn't crash against the docks. "Scarlett, can ye throw me the rope so I can attach the ship to the docks?"

 

"Sure!" Scarlett shouts, observing everything Caramel had been doing to dock the boat for future reference.

 

She quickly runs around the place, trying to find the rope. Upon finding it a moment later, she throws it over to Caramel and shouts "It's this rope right?"

"Aye that is the right one. Thank you my dear." Caramel said with smile while tying the rope to the docks. "Scarlett, could ye lower the anchor for me please?" Caramel said when she finished. "And maybe bring down the bridge and also tell everypony we're here?"

Scarlett did just that. She was about to use her magic for the anchor, but remembered what he Captain had said earlier. Pushing it overboard she turns around and walks below deck.

 

Lighting up her magic the bridge above falls down onto the deck as she shouts "We have arrived everypony!"

At the noise, Wilhelm woke with a start. Groggily rolling out of bed, he smiled softly at the knowledge that one of the crew must have cared enough to put him in bed, but as the message sank in, the smile grew a bit of a wistful edge. They would be leaving now, and who knows what would happen to them all? Wilhelm sighed. He would always remember the adventures he had, and especially the ponies he had them with. Reading over Caramel's note quickly, he carefully folded it and stuck it in the pocket of his jacket before heading up towards the deck, and back to his job and the Princesses and Canterlot.

Caramel walked on the bridge and back on deck to check if she needed anything. She walked pass Wilhelm "Good afternoon Wilhelm. Yer looking better, I hope you feel better as well. We're going out drinking soon, care to join us one last time? I'm sure they coffee too?" Caramel smiled.

Wilhelm returned the smile. "Of course. One last time, m'mare." He tipped his fedora. "And, for once, I think I'll allow myself to have a few beers, for auld lang syne." Wilhelm chuckled a bit. "And as for your question, I feel better. You may want the railings to be finished up by an actual carpenter, but as it is, this should be good enough a job for years to come." He smiled a bit more softly, and opened his mouth one last time. "So... You and Rave..."

"All the drinks are on me tonight so drink whatever ye want mate." Caramel smiled. "I'm glad you feel better friend. Started to worry for a moment back there.The ship looks good too, ye got some skills." Caramel said, happy he was okay. She then looked confused. "What about me and Rave?"

Wilhelm raised an eyebrow and gained a mysterious expression. "And that, milady, is something you'll have to figure out for yourself. What about you and Rave, indeed." He winked and began to walk down the gangplank towards the bar, humming an old sea shanty, but eventually growing louder as he got closer to the saloon. Strangely, Wilhelm had a surprisingly pure tenor.
