"Damn it." Tutting, Wilhelm picked up Scarlett and slung her over his back, vaguely annoyed that the mare wouldn't have the decency to not force them to carry her. "Now what are we going to do? I say we bring her to Caramel and let her figure out what to do with our mysterous mare, but we'll need the both of us to carry her." Wilhelm winced as the load on his back shifted. "Yeah, she's heavier than I thought."

Scarlett is picked up and carried to, wherever Wilhelm is taking her. Unconscious, her subconscious begins using her magic. The small metal magic store that she was using before was surrounded in her magic aura, and began following Scarlett while she was carried.

Rave stumbled around the ship, feeling really heavy. His body was weak, however, he wanted to be sure of what was happening. He called out, but got no answers. No one seemed to be around. "Where did everypony go?" he thought. "They abandoned you, what else?". "Quiet you". He looked towards the island, where they must have gone.

No answer. Caramel yelled again "I can hear hoofsteps, who's down there? Violet? Wihelm, Lordy, Anypony?" Caramel got no responds. She looked at Tyra and Spellblind. "Maybe we should just go down there." Caramel said in doubt. She then looked at Spellblind. "Didn't I tell ye to stay at the ship. Now Rave is all alone while he is still injured." Caramel said with an irritated tone. "We gotta get down there fast and fix it, so that we can go back to the ship as soon as possible."

Tyra peered her head into the hole, ear flicking to listen for any response, but heard nothing. She raised her head to look up to Caramel.

 

"Aye, we must venture onward," she agreed, then looked down into the hole, "you can fly down there, and if Spellbind insists on accompanying us, I am sure she can use her magic to get inside. I can simply jump inside, no problem!" She added with a proud smirk.

"No Spellblind either stays for look out or goes back to the ship. I don't wanna lose more of the crew." Caramel said with a serious look. Everypony was going their own way lately that she couldn't keep track of what was happening. She hoped they just listed to her this time. "Lets go." Caramel said to Tyra as she quickly flew down the pit. She immediately noticed the passageway. They probably went looking for an exit out there. She waited for Tyra to come down before going further.

Rave looked over to the island. Had they actually just left him there all alone? All alone on the ship? He felt really alone, but he steeled himself as he would not fall into his dark thoughts again. No, he was not weak minded. He was a bit annoyed though. He walked around the ship only to stumble yet again, with his nose landing on the ground of the ship. It hurt a lot.

Tyra nodded and watched Caramel into the pit, before turning to Spellbind.

"We will meet with you later," she smiled, before hopping in after the captain.

 

Her landing was rough, but not painful.

 

She met with Caramel and looked down the passageway.

"Do you suppose they are down there?" She asked.

"I think so, there's no other way out and  I'm sure I heard hoofsteps so somepony has to be around here somewhere.'' Caramel said starting to walk down the hall. "Hello anypony there?" she shouted again. Nothing. "this place gives me the creeps." Caramel said shivering.

Tyra nodded, accepting the pegasus's logic as she walked alongside her through the dark passage.

 

She glanced up to Caramel and noticed she seemed rather frightened. She herself didn't feel a thing.

"Fear not, my friend," she smiled, putting a foreleg around her, "Whatever foe that dares rear its face to challenge us, we will show it what two powerful mares can do, yes?!" She added with a confident, toothy smirk.

Caramel smiled as Tyra put a hoof around her. "I know, it's not that. I do not fear foes. We can take them together for sure. It's just that this place has a cold vibe. Like some kind of dark magic. I don't like it. I don't like one bit." Caramel said as they walked further into what seemed to be old ruins.

Tyra glanced around the tunnel, and then ahead to the old ruins they were approaching.

"Aye, I see what you mean," she muttered with a nod, "it does not feel right here."

 

She took another look around at the old ruined markings and symbols.

"We should not stay long," she informed the captain, "dark magic is never something to be trifled with." She added with a shiver of her own.

The narrator meant to say that Rave would have hit his nose on the floor... if Spellbind hadn't quickly used a levitation spell to stop him when his muzzle was inches away from the ground. She was extra on the lookout for his welfare since he had been injured.

Rave had expected that he had hit the ground and had already grunted when he was grabbed by Spellbind's spell. He was surprised not to feel any pain and looked up to see Spellbind. "Spellbind? You did not go? So I wasn't left alone? And you are using your magic" he smiled. Then he coughed and he felt a lot of pain course through his body.

"Well I think it is too late to head back now. It seems we are stuck here at the moment. Caramel said as she lit up a torch." The deeper they walked, the darker it got. She started walking closer to Tyra as more shiver ran down her spine. "Lets hope to find these ponies soon and get out of here.''

"Well... with a lot of work, levitation is all I can do correctly. Every other spell comes out botched..." she explained.

 

Just then, when Rave coughed and appeared to be in pain, Spellbind got frantic. "Wh-what should I do? Do I take you to your room? What medical equipment do i need?"

"Aye, I agree," Tyra nodded, walking ahead with Caramel into the dark, "we must find them soon."

 

She noticed Caramel get closer to her, and could feel her shivering against her.

"Do not fear, friend," she said, in attempt to calm her down, "no matter what kind of danger approaches, the two of us are undefeatable!"

 

Her last word, which was yelled, echoed through the ruins.

"It's the poison that is still within me, attacking my body. It makes me feel pain. I can't breathe properly. But I can make it, I don't require any medical attenti----" as he was about to finish, he suddenly felt as everything was swirling and he collapsed to the ground (unless caught again), since his body gave way.

Spellbind was horrified at what happened and didn't know what she should do. A lot of emotions were running thrugh her... panic, worry, feeling terrible for not knowing what to do... she settled for crying right next to Rave. "Why can't I help anypony with anything..." she sobbed.

Rave gains some consciousness again and tried to calm Spellbind. He crawled up to her and hugged her. "I'm ok, it's ok. I think it was just the poison acting up again" he said with a calming voice, only to cough again violently as he turned his head away from her so nothing would go on her. His eyes were sore.

Spellbind did keep on sniffling a bit though she did calm down considerably thanks to Rave and her own efforts. "Oh... that's a relief..." she said. "But what should I do? I haven't had much experience with poison but I need to know what to do to avoid catastrophe."

"Heh, I don't know much myself, I have never been poisoned before" Rave tried to smile, but the smile seemed pained. He was having a lot of trouble at standing and finally ended with Rave using Spellbind as support, while he still had a hold on her, since he could not longer stand normally. His breathing was getting a little bit heavier. "I'm fine Spelly, mind if I call you that? I quite like that" he laughed a little bit, painfully, but still with a bit of joy.

Scarlett rolls of the back of Wilhelm and upon hitting the floor, her subconscious magic dropped the magic store onto her. With the sudden surge of magic, Scarlett teleported again to an unknown location.

 

In an unknown location, Scarlett pops into existence and lands next to Captain Caramel with a thud.

Spellbind had to invest quite a bit of her strength and body weight into being able to hold Rave up against her. She knew he needed this as the poison was diminishing his strength and he was not currently able to stand of his own volition. "Yeah I don't mind that nickname..." she answered his question.

Caramel jumped as something appeared near her, almost bumping against Tyra. "What in Equestria?" it appeared to be a pony. Caramel carefully stepped closer, wondering if she was still alive. She pocked the mare. "You there, you awake? you okay?" Caramel said looking at the mare.

Scarlett hits the floor and then gets poked. Stirring slightly she mumbles "Huh? Stupid marshmellows" and then wakes up. Opening her eyes she see's a white pony with a yellowish brown mane. "Hello? Who are you?"

 

Looking around she see's well, nothing that she recognises. "Where in Equestria am I?!"
