Tyra groaned as she arrived back on the ship, stumbling from her feeling nauseous. Magic had a bad effect on her, so travelling with it made her feel next to throwing up.

 

Thankfully she could hold it back.

 

"Oof...greetings, friends," she muttered to Spellbind and Rave, seeing that the latter had passed out, "how is he fairing? Any better?"

"Well him and me had a good chat, and he did seem to be under extra bursts of pain from the poison a couple times," said Spellbind.

 

"But how about all of you? Did anything interesting happen in that pit?" she asked. "I wouldn't mind going on an adventure with you..."

As the others were talking, Caramel also noticed that Rave was unconscious. "No, No, No, Rave stay with me please. fight those demons inside you and wake up. Come back to me. If you don't come back to I'm gonna kill ye. I swear." Caramel laid down next to Rave, hoping her touch would help him wake up.

Wilhelm growled in annoyance. Shaking his head, he took off into the air, aiming for the distant masts of the ship. Unfortunately, he wasn't the best flier, and didn't quite make it all the way. Arriving on the deck several minutes later, thoroughly beat up, sword spotted with beads of strange iridescent black blood, and with a long scratch running down his flank from some sort of claw, Wilhelm went past the small group without saying a word except for a brief, vaguely displeased, look at Scarlett.

 

He went belowdecks, closing the door behind him. For a moment, there was silence, and then several clattering sounds, something that sounded like running water, and one noise reminiscent of  a stallion cursing in Germane repeatedly. Then, there was silence, and Wilhelm came back up from belowdecks, cleaned off, with new clothes, no sword, and the scratch in his side bandaged. He trotted over to the foremast, ignoring most of the group, and sat down. However, on his way, he noticed that Rave was unconscious, and came over to try and help. "What did I miss? Is he okay?"

Rave was trapped in darkness. The poison was messing with his brain again, making the shadow within him stronger. "See, you are weak. You will never be anything but a burden. You are worthless". However, with Caramel's touch, Rave fought back. "I am not, Spellbind doesn't think I am, and I know that Caramel doesn't think so either. You are the one that is worthless, living inside of me, feeding off of me". He moved a bit, and seemed to be breathing and whispered Caramel's name, although not opening his eyes. "Ca--ra--mel--".

Tyra nodded and pointed a hoof to Scarlett. "This new pony appeared in front of us, out of the air!"

 

She looked toward Caramel and smiled. "It gave our captain a bit of a fright, but then, the dark ruins did too."

 

She frowned and glanced toward the island from the window. "Though, it did not feel right in there..."

Scarlett slowly stands up and makes her way over to Rave. She slumps to her haunches next to him and lowers her horn down to his head. Charging up her horn, she sends a small bit of magic into Rave, temporarily relieving all pain.

 

"His pain is gone, he may be able to communicate but I would not recommend him moving at all, he might not feel it but he will be damaging himself."

Now, if this roleplay didn't take place in a world known for freaky magic occurences, Spellbind would have been pretty darn astounded at the way the new pony had appeared.

 

"So, teleportation spell, huh?" she said. "I wish I could do that... but I'll just have to settle for levitation."

"Don't worry buddy, I'm right here. Just listen to my voice and you'll be fine." Caramel watched Scarlett use her magic on Rave. She was worried but great full. "Thank you." she said to Scarlett." Caramel said. "Although I think I might have a way of waking him up." Caramel said with a grinn.

Rave felt as if he had been relieved of his pain, but he was still feeling the emotional pain. He kept on whispering Caramel's name, his voice very raspy. Tears were in his eyes. "You actually think she loves you? She only wants the treasure and nothing else. She doesn't care for you". "Stop it, it is not true".

Caramel could heard rave softly calling his name "Okay, I'm gonna try it. It may look a bit stupid. It may not work but I got nothing to lose." Caramel said as she lowered herself close to Rave. "Ye better wake up Rave cause otherwise ye gonna make me look like a fool. Here it goes" Caramel opened her mouth and bit Rave in his ear.

Rave's eyes flared open as he felt his ear being bitten. A lot of feelings went through him. He noticed it was none other than Captain Caramel, the mare of his dreams, that was biting his ear. He blushed really hard. His cheeks were like that of a volcano. "Caramel" he whispered rather normally, though the rasp in his voice was evident.

Scarlett tilted her head in confusion at the display. She didn't understand ear biting as intimate, though truth be told she hasn't seen any romance of any kind where she was from so she passed it off as some fad from the past.

 

"So, does anypony feel like telling me what's going on. I'm a little lost"

Caramel realized how stupid she looked but she didn't care. "Rave, yer okay." She hugged him tight. "Don't you try to scare me like that again." Caramel said with a teasing tone. "Guess it worked after all." Caramel said blushing. She quickly got up, back on her hoofs as she noticed everypony staring."Nothing to see here, move along." Caramel said still blushing.

Tyra snickered as Caramel began nibbling on Rave's ear. It was a common sign of affection back in her homeland.

 

As well as of intimacy. Her parents would often nibble each other's ears at banquets, usually when drunk. She knew exactly why.

 

She smirked as Caramel insisted nothing was going on, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Scarlett, still in a state of confusion had never seen blushing before. "Uhh, Caramel, what are your cheeks doing? Why have they gone red, are you OK?"

 

She looked over to Rave and noticed the same thing on his cheeks "This is just getting weird."

 

She walks over to a corner, slumps down on her haunches and twirls two metal spheres above her head.

Wilhelm looked utterly bemused, even more than before. Slowly and with great feeling, he said "What the buck did I just witness?" He paused for a moment, thinking over what happened. "Also, you two need to get a room already." he said, with a bit of a smile. Turning to Scarlett, he said "Forgive me, but I don't believe we've been introduced... me and Violet were the ones who found you initially. I'm  Sergeant Wilhelm de Winter, Royal Astronomer to the Princesses of Equestria, but everypony just calls me Wilhelm."

Wilhelm looked utterly bemused, even more than before. Slowly and with great feeling, he said "What the buck did I just witness?" He paused for a moment, thinking over what happened. "Also, you two need to get a room already." he said, with a bit of a smile. Bemused by Wilhelm thinking that being a royal anything meant anything to her, she smirks and says " Hello Wilhelm, you must have been the one who dropped me. I remember felling into a room, and then my teleport being set off by me hitting the ground. Thanks for that I guess, would never have got you all back together."

Wilhelm rubbed the back of his neck with a hoof. "Well, in my defense, I didn't drop you per se... okay, I kind of did. Also, you're welcome." He smiled wryly. "At least I hadn't taken off yet, or you wouldn't be in such good condition." He shrugged and sat down next to Scarlett. "What are those? They look like they have independent levitation spells on them; anything else?" he said, gesturing towards the metal spheres.

Even though Rave was still poisoned, he was starting to feel a bit better. He had... liked the nibbling. He was still lying there, blushing. He tried to stand up, nearly falling again due to being a bit dizzy. He looked at Caramel, not saying anything, blushing.

"Sorry, I will get a room next time." Caramel said to Wihelm, laughing. She had embarrassed herself once again, but at least Rave was okay. Caramel smiled as Rave looked at her. "Come on bud, lets get ye to bed." Caramel said as she helped him to try and stand up.

Smiling at the sudden interest into her affairs, Scarlett replies "No, they don't have an independant levitation spell. I've just learnt to do this without much magic at all."

 

Abruptyly, Scarlett shouts over to Caramel "Don't let him stand up with his own muscles! It could damage him!"

Quickly going over to Rave and Caramel  she asks "Where does he need to go?"

"I am perfectly fine on handling myse--" he fell down again. His face was red with embarrassment. He accepted Caramel's aid to stand up and allowed her to support him. "I guess I might a tiny bit help getting to my bed" he said, smiling embarrassingly, blushing.

Looking over to Rave, Scarlett bluntly states "You shouldn't be moving at all Rave. The spell only nums the pain and poison, you are far from cured"

 

Sighing, she continues; "But if you insist in moving by yourself, you'll find this useful"

 

Scarlett wraps Rave in a levitation spell but does not do anything with it. "You are now effectively near weightless, move gently."

Rave was not entirely happy with Scarlett's help. He had been wanting the captain to help him to his bed since he wanted to talk more with her. Get to know some things. However, that didn't seem like a possibility right now. "Thank you very much, I will see myself to bed then" he said with a slightly annoyed look. He started walking away.
