Blizzard was still sitting outside wondering to himself what and how, "I wonder exactly what Ticktock's trying to accomplish. I mean his marefriend has been gone for the longest amount of time. I don't think she'd like it if he would give into dark. Ticktock better be careful..."

Red looked around for the others. Caliber seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth; as far as she knew, Icarus was still in the hospital; Tyra was off walking her giant pet...

 

She sat down next to Blizzard-- Ice Blizzard-- whistling. She suddenly realized what a bad whistler she was and stopped. After a moment, she decided to break the awkward ice. "What do you think of Ticktock's dark?" She asked quietly, glancing back at the tower.

Blizzard noticed Red sit by him and replied, "I don't like him. But all we can do is trust in Ticktock and hope for the best." After awhile he got bored and decided to talk to Red, "Hey Red. You're a great addition to the team. You're cool to hang around. You feel like a younger sister to me." he said as he playfully messed up her mane. "I know! Let's do what siblings do best: Cause Trouble. You up for some fun Red?" he asked with a somewhat evil grin.

"I don't like him. But all we can do is trust in Ticktock and hope for the best."

Red nodded, saying nothing. It was odd how easily they all could forgive Ticktock... but heartwarming, as well. Even if she didn't quite Ticktock, she trusted the fact that the rest of them did unconditionally. Ticktock seemed kind. He deserved the benefit of the doubt.

 

 

 

"Hey Red. You're a great addition to the team. You're cool to hang around. You feel like a younger sister to me." he said as he playfully messed up her mane.

Red stared at him. Is he going to ask for money? She wondered. Little sister, huh? Wait, little? No, no, he meant younger.  She couldn't help feeling a little bit flattered, and smiled slightly, when he continued.

 

 

 

"I know! Let's do what siblings do best: Cause Trouble. You up for some fun Red?"

Red's smile twitched. His evil smile was contagious. "Well, big brother," she said quietly (just in case), but with a tinge of interest that she tried to hide . "I might be up for that. So long as it doesn't involve destroying Canterlot. What do you have in mind?"

Blizzard felt happy when he was called 'big brother' something he hasn't ever been called due to being an only child. When Red asked exactly what they'd do he scratched his head sheepishly, "Uh, well. I haven't thought of much yet. Hmmm....I got it!" he ran to a party store, bought something. and ran back in Ticktock's house and came back out to Red with a bucket filled with water balloons, "Whaddya think we can do with these?" he asked with a grin.

Red felt warm-- happy, really. Blizzard was the first friend she could really remember having in... forever. She'd always been the odd duck. But Ice Blizzard was a friend. Which was good, she realized. Fighting with five other ponies, none of which she could consider friends, would get lonely.

 

Red blinked when Ice seemed to vanish and reappeared with a bunch of-- water balloons. She stared hard at them for a long moment.

 

"Maybe," she said after a long pause, "we can fill them up with water and throw them at snobs."

Blizzard laughed and picked one up, "Already done Red. They're all filled, we just need to find a good hiding place from where we can strike. Let's take a walk downn the road and hide behind maybe some bushes or trees, we wait for a snob to pass by, and boom! Water balloon'd! Whaddya say you ready?" he said as he began to slowly walk down the roadside.

Red considered. She didn't want to get in trouble-- oh, who was she kidding? She needed a break. She was tired and sore, and wanted to annoy self-entitled twatty snobs. Who actually would care? She wanted to have fun, oh, and she was going to have it!

 

She gently took some water balloons and carried them in her mouth, careful not to drop them. She had to put one foreleg up to hold them up so they didn't droop and break and nodded at Blizzard, grinning wickedly as she began looking for a nice place to hide in. There was a little tower next to the road with a spiral staircase around the outside-- they could perch on the roof! She nodded at it, raising an eyebrow at Ice Blizzard questioningly.

caliber had left after ticktock's explanation.

 

he gave some thought to the riddle, but it really didnt concern him.

 

what mattered most right now, was training.

 

he was back at the wachknight arena, stacking weights on his back, and was now running around, doing laps.

Blizzard nodded at Red, approvingly of her idea. He tactically positioned himself atop the tower, and was hidden by leaves in the trees. When a snob passed by, holding his head up high, Blizzard threw his first one and had a direct hit. He laughed quietly as the pony he hit was looking straight up traumatized and he ran out of sight.

 

"Haha! Oh man that was good. Hope he gets dry soon hehe, come on up sis!" he shouted to Red.

Red trotted after him and slunk to the edge of the tower.

 

There. She spotted a pony. A dappled grey unicorn stallion, strutting across the road as though where he walked he left ripples of gold.

 

Careful... careful... Now! She dropped the balloon and her ear twitched as from far below she heard it hit it's mark. She ducked back on the roof, as she just saw him looking up, and began laughing uproariously.

Blizzard laughed and tried to contain it so they wouldn't get spotted he then saw another pony, a mare with her hair done up nearly to the sky, "So sorry....nah not really." he threw the balloona and messed up the mare's hair with the water. She looked around, but didn't see Red and Blizzard, "Oh this is fun huh Lit- I mean younger sis?"

Red's eye twitched. For a second, she'd thought he had almost called her little. No, no, it was her paranoia.

 

"Yes, it's very fun," she agreed, snapping herself out of it. He wouldn't call her little, would he? Well, if he did, the next snob to come walking along the road would get something a lot heavier than a water balloon thrown at them, she reflected. "I like the expressions on their faces," she observed, looking down, smirking. She picked up another balloon and dropped it and watched it splash a pony.

Blizzard was internally relieved as Red wasn't mad. He didn't mean to say she was little, he was stuck on the term 'little sister' which is what she felt like to him. But he had to be more careful, "Whew I hope she's not mad." "Aha! Another bullseye! Look at them run Red haha! Tell me, have you ever had good fun like this before with your real brother back home?"

Red grinned at Ice Blizzard. "They have it coming. I don't like Canterlot-- any city, for that matter. Most ponies are just... cruel. Arrogant beyond belief." She picked up another balloon, spotted the most arrogant looking pony she could find, and let loose. The pony saw it coming and dove out of the way, though water still hit him-- and now his suit was all dirty. She smirked before turning back to her friend. Or was it brother? He felt like a brother. She settled on brother-like friend. "I don't have a brother. I never really had fun back at home, actually. My parents were both the hardworking silent type. They wanted me to entertain myself. They didn't have many friends, and neither did I. Well, I didn't have any friends. I couldn't be bothered with them." She fell silent. That was probably the most she'd ever talked about her past. She didn't have a very interesting past-- to her, it was just the boring life that had led her to the thrills of adventuring. "What about you? Is this what you did when you were younger?"

zenru had been walking around in the tower, looking for the throne room. 

 

he had been called here by celestia about something about going back in time...?

 

anyways...he noticed the floor had become slippery. he frowned. it was dangerous of the mopper to just leave water on the ground like that.

 

unless...

ah, yes. some ponies are playing pranks, it seems. it looked like they were targeting the snobbish looking ponies.

 

he smiled. perhaps he'll have some fun. setting himself up, he started an almost painfully snobbish walk. looking down at all the other ponies, barely concealing his laughter.

Blizzard listened intently to Red's past, "Wow. I never knew that. Interesting. I hope you can have some fun with the rest of us now." He then heard her ask about his past, "Hm? Yeah sometimes I would play pranks with my ice powers to have fun. But nothing beats the old-fashioned water balloons! Although as an only child, I never had many friends. I mean there was one friend I thought I had who betrayed me. But later on I met Caliber. Heh. I swear he and I are practically biological brothers. We just have differnt mothers."

 

"But anyway, I think you make a great sister Red. And I can be your 'big brother' if you want. I've kinda wanted a sister for awhile now, and you seem like the perfect fit."

 

He then looked down to see a dark blue pony. "Eye on target!" He threw the balloon down to Zenru and splashed him, "Aw yay-yeah! Hit!"

zenru grinned when he was splashed. this means war.

 

know what he did?

 

"stage 10!" he called out.

 

he was up the balcony in a flash, and was pelting both red and ice with multiple balloons that they made.

 

then he was back down, and was walking again.

 

this all happened in about five seconds.

 

' 'imma let them process that' he thought. 'and dodge any other balloons...'

Red smiled at Blizzard as he dropped the balloon. "I would--" she didn't manage to finish her statement though as she was suddenly soaking wet.

 

She blinked several times, then looked down. The pegasus Ice Blizzard had dropped the balloons on was still walking snobbish as ever. Had she imagined that flash..?

 

She looked back at Ice Blizzard. He was wet too. "Did that pegasus just..?" She left the rest of her question unspoken because she was confused as to exactly what magic he had used.

Blizzard was surprised as they were attacked by the pony, and looked back outside as he walked, "Hey what the--? Grr...ok sister Red. Let's do a sibling counterattack.....GET HIM!" Blizzard said as he began to rapidly throw water balloons back at Zenru while laughing as he did so.

Red did the same as Ice Blizzard, grin widening. "This guy is going down," she said, laughing. And this time, she was ready to jump back. She wouldn't be taken by surprise again! She threw balloon after balloon at the lightning fast pegasus. "Who does this guy think he is, taking on a brother and sister like this?" She said, grinning at ice, showing some of the affection he had given her.

zenru smiled. the balloons hurtled towards him, and suddenly, he seemingly disappeared, and reappeared around four feet to the right. he did it again, and again, and again. 

 

he was still in stage 10, so it was no problem.

 

however...they still needed to be beat. and the only way to win...is attack!

 

he started catching them, slowing them down before they hit something, and setting them on the ground. this decreased his speed by a lot, but he was gaining ammunition.

Red blinked blankly. Not a single one hit! And was he... grabbing the balloons?

 

Buck! This meant he could fight back! They were in trouble... Maybe if Ice could somehow use his ice magic...

 

"How far does your ice magic go, brother Blizzard?" She asked, throwing a couple more balloons, not directly at the Pegasus. She was hoping to just get him with the splash.

Blizzard was getting a bit pouty with Zenru. He knew they had no chance against this pony who could move so fast. He then heard Red's question, "Pretty far if I wanted it. Why? You got a plan sister Red?" he asked as he kept on flinging water balloons at Zenru.

he had enough.

 

time to execute plan-forty two.

 

"attack!" he said, and started launching balloons back at them, considerably faster, but not enough to where it could hurt.

 

he had a couple splashes on his coat, but he'll live through it.

 

MEANWHILE...

 

"...why do i feel like im missing out on something...?" caliber muttered, as he continued running.
