Probably Lee 197 March 26, 2015 Share March 26, 2015 On a scale of 1/10, how open would you say bronies are to the younger members. :grin2: 1 KILL IT!
TheJLeeTeam 914 March 26, 2015 Share March 26, 2015 I'm 17 so am I a younger member? What qualifies as an older member over 25? 1 My blog post on Starting Fresh with MLP:FiM: https://mlpforums.com/blog/2076/entry-16988-im-starting-fresh-with-mlp-fim/
Yummychickenblue 303 March 26, 2015 Share March 26, 2015 (edited) Looking at your proffile your 13. Thats too young for the brony fandom. You must be at least 30, weigh over 250 pounds and live in a basement, preferably your parents. Just leave. Edited March 26, 2015 by Yummychickenblue 11 Check out my EQTV channel The Chicken Coop! midnightlegacy 172 March 26, 2015 Share March 26, 2015 (edited) Hmm... Well, I am not sure if I understand your question very well, but the show was originally made for very young viewers, so out of all the people that watch the show, I would imagine that we would be the last ones complaining about someone being to young or too old to watch the show. Ponies for everyone!!!! Granted, there are certain things in the fandom not suited for younger viewers. On the other hand, I am 21 and I prefer to avoid those parts of the fandom myself, but that is just a matter of personal preference of course. Edited March 26, 2015 by midnightlegacy 1 These days, the world has a tendency of taking itself much too seriously. It is my intention to not follow suit. Discordian 6,018 March 26, 2015 Share March 26, 2015 I don't generally consider one's age when talking to them. Most hobbies and lifestyles aren't specific to age. I've...had my fair share of run-ins with depressed fourteen year olds who don't seem to react well to my somewhat forceful personality though. Not necessarily here but on the internet in general. They flock to me for some reason. Maybe it says something about my interests. I'll talk to anyone but the moment I feel you're wasting my time I won't continue a conversation until something needs to be said.

Unfortunately, it's how CollegeHumor and some anti-bronies stereotype all of us. Anyways, back to the question. I'll say 9/10 since the brony community is very accepting. Edited March 26, 2015 by CC_Maud_Pie 2 All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.
Felix 1,363 March 26, 2015 Share March 26, 2015 It depends on the person and how young they are probably. Most of the time I pay little attention to their age and more their personality. After all, I come here to socialize and have fun! Make some friends. If I considered age on anyone I knew I'd have a few less friends than I do now. I tend not to care about age. Overall everyone I know has been the same way and almost just as if not more friendly than others. So I think the majority are pretty open! ^^ 1 Credit to Kyoshi for the awesome signature! Justin_Case001 4,928 March 26, 2015 Share March 26, 2015 I never consider age. I mean, I just keep things MLPF appropriate, but I never look at profiles before talking to someone. I just treat everyone as equals. I think I tend to assume everyone is the same age as me (29), and I just talk to them as such. I think that's a good way to be, really. It's unbiased. I'll talk to a 15-year old for ages before I find out his/her age. And then I'm surprised. I'm like, "Wow, I'da bet she/he was in her/his twenties." I think you learn more about people that way. So, if I'm interperating the original question correctly, then I am very open to younger members.
Pastel 7,630 March 26, 2015 Share March 26, 2015 I'm as open as to older members, I don't make a difference, why would I?
Sommar 1,289 March 27, 2015 Share March 27, 2015 Well, I guess Bronies on here are pretty open to younger members; I mean, look how nice everyone is here! Whether someone is younger or older, they should be treated with respect no matter what. Treat others the way you want to be treated. I personally don't care about a person's age, rather I care about the person's personality and who they are. If someone is 15, cool I'll talk to them. If someone is 25, cool I'll talk to them too. I try to be open and friendly to everyone I talk to on here.
HawkeyePierce 115 March 27, 2015 Share March 27, 2015 Lack of age-judgement was one of the reasons that I loved the internet when I first used it, and I enjoy now being able to offer that courtesy to others. One thing that I have definitely learned from bronies is that age does not equal maturity. I've met fifteen year-olds who could be thirty and thirty year-olds who could be fifteen. It's all about behavior. I'd say that bronies on the whole embrace that philosophy, too (particularly here, from what I've seen), which is nice. Flamestreak1990 1,204 March 27, 2015 Share March 27, 2015 (edited) I'm only 13 and the forum has been really nice to me so I'd say 10/10 . As for me I don't care how old you are, you could be 38 years old and I'd still talk to you. I feel I'm very open to people as long as there nice and considerate to me and other people. 10/10 Edited March 27, 2015 by Flamestreak1990 OCS: flamestreak and blue-diamond I had a bible verse here before? EquestriaGuy 1,074 March 27, 2015 Share March 27, 2015 I find it to be very brave for someone living within a world of peer pressure and gender role conformity to even secretly admit to liking the show.
