Rigel turned around when he heard legacy's voice say his name. He was surprised to see what seemed to be the actual Legacy standing there with a pony he didn't recognize.

 

"Legacy? Like, the real legacy?" he looked confused, but then his expression changed to apology. "umm... Next time you check my room, well, the walls were damaged. I sort of... uhh... Let's just say PTSD and magic is not a good combination."

 

He walked to the new pony and held out his hoof. "hello, Im Rigel, shaper of glass and drinker of beverages." he shook his bag, which made a faint clinking noise. "want anything? I don't have much right now, since I drank most of it while stricken with my aforementioned bout of PTSD. but I have a few good ones left."

Larva stared at him.

"Unless it is blood, I do not want anything."

He stared at him.

Legacy laughed.

"Sure thing. Raven here is a close enough friend of mine, so close that I will actually come out of my room for her."

 

Raven lowered her head in a bow.

"Hello Rigel."

 

Gizmo looked at the rocks.

"You gonna do anything with those or not?"

Cell floated towards Gizmo.

"Sir, I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but Atom is finished with the scanner."

Gizmo looked at Cell and then at Plasma.

"I really should get back to work Plasma. Sorry about that."

He trotted back to his room after telling Cell:

"I'm nearly finished. Tell him to give me a few more minutes."

"Thank ya for your time, sir."

Cell floated back to Atom's room and told him.

Rigel retracted his hoof and nodded at raven.

 

"a friend of legacy is a friend of mine." he said happily. He turned back to legacy. "have you seen Garth anywhere?"

Raven nodded in return.

Legacy respond:

"I think he's sleeping in his room. Give me a second."

She closed her eyes and reopened them.

"Yea, sleeping. What's up?"

 

Spoiler contains locations and current actions of everyone.

 

Dusty and Frost are talking in her prison cell.

Garth is sleeping in his room.

Plasma is in the Training Grounds.

Atom is in his room.

Gizmo is in his room, working on a battery.

Natural is in the kitchen, Raek is in the kitchen.

Autumn, Matt, Rigel, Raven, Larva, and Legacy are in the dining room.

Atom was soldering together the final part of the scanner.

"Aanndd... done!"

"Never thought we'd actually do it."

"Well brother, we did. I'm going to go show this to Gizmo, you stay here and recharge some of your energy."

Atom proceeded to Gizmo's room, scanner in his saddlebags. Atom knocked on the door.

Rigel looked to the side a bit awkwardly.

 

"well, I was a bit of a dick to him earlier and wanted to apologize in person. And I was going to tell him Im probably going to head in to town later today to refill my drink bag."

 

(I forget, is the base near/in a city?)

Gizmo opened the door and let Atom in.

"Come in, it's finished."

 

Legacy chuckled.

"You won't find a working city nearby, hence why Raek makes his own alcohol."

(he base is situated under the ruins of a town.)

Larva walked over to a nearby couch and sat down. He started to watch everyones actions.

Raven walked away from Legacy when she saw Larva go to sit down. As she walked, she shifted into Nidal. She sat down next to him.

"What do you think of all of them so far?"

Larva turned his head over to her.

"I have no clue honestly. I can't really judge someone by their appearance. I would need to talk to them before I have an opinion of them."

Nidal looked up at the ceiling.

"I meant the ones you have talked to. Legacy for example."

"If you mean by her, I think she is just amazing. No one has accepted me for who I am in years."

[Linguz 140]

"I meant anyone who you've met and talked to enough to get an idea of their personality. Legacy's like that; she won't stop at how you look outside or even your actual personality inside. She uses her spells to get the reasons for your personality and that's what she judges you on."

"I noticed. She read my mind a couple of times. I used to be able to do that when I was.. you know, human."

"She tries not to do it unless it would take too long of a time to explain something. It was when you first mentioned humans and vampires, am I right?"

"Yeah, and sometimes after that. She even knew that I... hungerd for her blood."

[Linguz 140]

"That might've been before either of those two times. When the snake bit her, you looked at the blood. Did you think of drinking her blood then? If so, then it was at that point."

"Yeah, but I just kept... watching the blood flow afterwords. It was really hard..."

Nidal put her hoof on his back.

"Don't worry. The fact that you didn't proves you're good."

Autumn cleaned up his table and put away his tray, then left for the training room. "It was nice meeting you Matt." He returned to the training room to practice his sword's magic. "I wonder if I can use multiple spells at once?" "Fire" The sword was engulfed in flames. "Bolt" The flames died and were replaced by blue lightning. "I guess I can't use those at the same time, and Strength uses all of the sword's magic so I know I can't use that with another spell. Maybe Detection?" "Find Library" The gem floated up and pointed the way to the library, while the Spark spell was still in effect. "Good. I guess I can fight while the Detection spell is in effect. That is good to know." He spent a few more hours in the training ground, experimenting with spells and attacks.
