Hello everypony,

My name is Gold Anchors, I'm 22 and a Lieutenant in the Equestrian Navy. I'm on a temporary leave for the time being so feel free to ask any questions you have about me or about life in the Equestrian Navy!

Hello there.

Putting bias aside, what do you think is the best branch of the military?

I do like the Navy, but I would have preferred the Equestrian Air Force.

Truth be told, I've been crushing on Spitfire since I was a teenager.

Lol. Interesting. Guess that being a pegasus could be an excuse to tell others and avoid admiting your crush. Am i right?

Hey there! :3 What's the most important lesson you've learnt in the Equestrian Navy? :fluttershy:

The most important lesson that I've learned is to cherish the time you share with your loved ones.

Being in the Navy means a lot of time away from my home, my parents, and my special somepony. I treat everyday that I'm with them as if it were my last.

What are the requirements for Equestrian Navy Diver? I heard that there is an Equestrian Navy Dive and Salvage school either near Manehattan or Canterlot (can't remember which). I'm a civilian hard hat diver out of Seaddle so I'm just seeing if there is any big differences.

"I could have been happy above if I'd never donned the copper carapace and dipped my head beneath the waves to hear the muddled man-made sounds. Distorted and dreamlike droning. The whir and thrashing of a distant propeller, the tumultuous thundering thud of fogbound freighters. Mud underfoot, no sights, except the grasp of a diver's trained hand, dreaming of distant lands knowing all the while this is what I love, not the blue skies and wondering faces above. Canvas, rubber, brass, copper, and glass. Leather and lead, mud and sweat, heaving around in dark, damp depths seldom seen by most yet talked about by all. As if a sunny, happy place where mermaids and seahorses play and chests of gold are lain bare, untarnished by salt and time for all to grasp who are bold enough to go below..." -"Deep Sea Diver", Steven L. I'm a SEAL, I can't tell you where I dive, but I can tell you where I learned to dive.  :smug:

I learned at the Manehatten naval base. It's a lot different in the nave because it's all about stealth and speed.
