Also, I'm planning for Wilhelm to be nearly immune to illusions, mind-mangling, and basically everything that seeks to screw with his perception or thoughts. If nothing else, I plan for him to know when someone's trying to screw him over.

Which is interesting, and fitting for a soldier, though I don't expect anybody to have mind manipulation powers here, since they're so broken even outside RP context. Unless you count The Stare.

 

But outside of that, I don't like doing OP villains like NMR because I can't portray them accurately without being unfair. IC, she wouldn't bother with a fair fight. She'd torture your mind, then teleport you into space or the center of the planet when she got bored.
