And I can get out of the charge by citing the part of Equestrian Law which states that under reasonable suspicion of an activity occurring which would be guaranteed to cause severe and grievous harm to either the defendant or an innocent, the defendant would be allowed to take whatever steps necessary short of committing murder or another Class One crime of that nature.

 

Basically, it all falls under self-defense and "reasonable suspicion clauses". If this is taken to court, I'm more or less 100% sure I could out-debate whatever unfortunate is chosen to roleplay the judge.
