I'm conflicted.

On one hand, I'm happy for her success (while I haven't always agreed some of her characterizations-I've always believed she's gotten far more hate than she deserves in certain instances) and I do hope she gets to write for some pretty cool series and have fun doing it.

But, at the same time I'm worried about who they might get to replace her.

Someone on this page shouldn't be using the "a" and "m" word to attack Disney. Be Civil. And for the record, Star Wars isn't taken away from Lucas Films. It's Lucas Films that still makes the Star Wars films. Oh, and by the way, Disney helped influenced Lauren to make this MLP:FiM reboot in the first place, thanks to the Disney animated films she saw as a child.

You can hate Disney, but I WILL NOT stand for the Disney company being called "a-holes" and "m*therf*ckers"!   That's just mean! :(

A Dragon as big as his love for Disney and has his head in the clouds literally and figuratively

Well, good for her. I'm sure stuff like staff leaving is just a bump in the road for ongoing series like FiM, and if the show was able to survive Lauren Faust leaving, albeit with a half-season widely considered to be the worst airing before the show got back on track, I'm sure the show will carry on just fine. Amy Keating Rogers probably should take big opportunities to advance her career, as should anyone in her position. Sure, I'm sad to see her go, but it's not like the sky is falling. At least it beats having a death among the cast and crew, like some other ongoing series have experienced in the past. Stuff like this happens, and the show must go on.

She's a great writer, and I'm personally really happy she's writing for Disney. If she's asssisting in writing their movies, then I'm sure she'll live up to their expectations! If she's writing for Disney Channel...eh, maybe she can save it from descending into even further mediocrity.
