Hi, Humblehymn.

I’ve checked out a number of your songs on youtube. And I have to say that, and you said it yourself, they were terrible. Sorry to say that. Not saying to be rude but I have to be honest. Have you been taking lessons? If not, I found a couple of webpages / videos that can help you out.

I do recommend that you look for a singing tutor if you really want to sing, though.

Also, I did a little research on you since then and you mentioned that you used to play a flute and do some beatbox. Maybe you can place videos of yourself doing those. All you need is confidence and practice.

And as for recording equipment, I did a topic asking for what I should use a few months ago. Here’s the link:

Feel free to check it out.

That’s all I got for now. See ya later.

Some parts sounded flat while some parts reminded me of The Living Tombstone's singing (it's extremely specific pitched areas though) and you were also a bit shaky to me at some parts. Try to get better equipment to record with and try to sing louder and with more pride and enthusiasm. A quiet singer is a bad singer especially when I had to crank my headphones up almost full blast just to hear you.

I'd also recommend some singing lessons if possible just to find a good singing range for you without sounding too quiet or sounding like your vocal chords are being strained.

Well, cheesy as it sounds, why do you sing? Do you find it enjoyable? Does it make you feel alive? Do you need others to listen?

Everyone can sing, and I do so myself. It's nice. But I don't listen to people just to listen to them, I listen to people with talent. Be it singing or whatever talent they are performing. Bottom line, no you don't seem to have talent, but if you truly enjoy singing, keep at it!  :)
