Wilhelm hit with that roll.  Due to the cat's unfortunate circumstances (the levitation), it is unable to dodge.  Now you just need to roll damage on it.

Since arrows are impaling damage, everything that gets through the target's damage resistance is doubled.  They have thick fur that gives them DR 1, so that did a total of 14 damage.

 

Also, on a side note:  Man, I nearly rolled a critical failure on Time Shield's Will check due to his low fatigue.  He almost passed out on you guys.

*EDIT*  Wait, you rolled an 8?  Your damage on the bow is 1d - 2, the most you could roll is a 4... unless you were pre-doubling it?

Oh, I accidentally rolled three die:

 

One one, one two, and one five.

 

 

What should I do? Pick the lowest? Highest?

We'll go with the highest for simplicity's sake.  That would be 3 damage, minus 1 for damage resistance, then doubled to 4.  That's still JUST enough to knock it out (the cats have very few hitpoints).  It just won't be as dramatic as the 14 damage I thought it was.
