Blizzard noticed the shadows filling the room. He then activated his Maverick style to keep himself on his hooves, "You don't scare us Rave! Let's kick this guy's sorry ass and put him down! Come on guys. Attack!!!!!" Blizzard then waited for a shadow to come at him, and sent a few flying with shield expansion attack.

Rave watched as his shadows started to attack the team, using their sheer numbers to try and overpower them. The came in waves. "I don't need to scare dead ponies" he laughed. "The only ones that need to be scared are the ones that will face enslavement" he grinned, revealing his sharp teeth.

"lets do this!" she yelled. lightning flashing out of her cloud in all directions at the shadows, turning them into a big black spot on the ground.  "this is so awesome!" she said. she started flying in a circle, creating a mini tornado to suck up the shadows. after lots were in it, she let go and the shadows flew everywhere and hit the walls of the room

The shadows stood up again quickly. The tornado seemed to be of less use inside closed space. "That's it". Rave jumped down. He started charging up magic, he seemed to grow a bit bigger. His teeth getting sharper and purple smoke leaking from his eyes. "Face the wrath of the Darkmane family". He sent a blast towards Lightning.

"WHAT THE?!" she shrieked as she dodged the blast. "alright guys, you gotta up your fighting to the limit" she said as she re-formed her storm cloud. "TAKE THIS YOU DARK MAGIC FREAKS!" she yelled as she started hitting the shadows with lightning once again. "why are you doing this?!" she yelled at Rave

Skylar had been occupied in literally blowing the shadow ponies away. She had gotten a lot better at creating little wind storms with her wings. She was flying behind Lightning quickly when she saw the magic coming at her. She attempted to dodge, but it was too late as the magic hit her.

She screeched in pain, cursing loudly before fainting.

The magic started to tear at Skylar's muscles, however, it seemed to be attacking her mostly where the wings were. The magic attacked anything that made a pony different, wings be what excluded Pegasi from the other pony races. 

 

Rave looked at Lightning laughing. "Because why not? I have the power to do so, I have a chance to restore my family back to it's glorious days of power. I have a chance for revenge". More shadows seemed to be coming.

"SKYLAR!" LS shrieked, she picked her up and dragged her to the wall. "BLU! take skylar to zecora's hut, now" blu picked up skylar and took her to zecora. LS continued fighting the shadows, her storm cloud became bigger and a little thunder rumbled in it quietly.

caliber hadn't even been hit by a shadow, yet, and he wasn't showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon.

 

and the same thing for the shadows. they just kept coming, and coming...

 

"hey, yo! darkmane! fight me one-on-one, ya scrub!!" caliber challenged the pony behind it all. he didnt expect this 'darkmane' to accept the challenge, but it was worth a shot.

Blizzard continued to shoot ice at the oncoming shadows. Every time another got close, he would counter its attack, and send it flying, "Haha. Come up with a better strategy dude. You apparently have no sense of combat or how to direct your troops from getting killed! HA!" He continuedn defending from the shadows.

LS stopped fighting for a few seconds. "I'm not so sure you wanna fight Rave, Cal, he's super powerful" LS warned him. "But if you wanna, go right ahead" she said, then went back to fighting. She recreated the tornado, hoping it would be more effective this time.

Rave only grinned. "Your taunts to not affect me puny ponies. You have no idea, that I am only toying with you. One must always be ready for everything". His horn glowed dark and a light of powerful magic shot in the air. Suddenly, the shadows of the ponies started to rise and attack them, with their own skills at hoof. "Let's see how well you deal... with yourself" he laughed.

the shadow rose against caliber, and he attempted to strike at it, but it parried almost as fast. they began to fight, going slowly at first, but steadily rising in pace.

 

almost to the point where the others couldn't keep track on who's sword is who's. while fighting, caliber seemed almost...happy?

 

yes, he was grinning as he fought his clone. he seemed happy to find another swordspony as good as himself, even if it was technically himself.

 

the speed was still rising, and rather quickly, too.

"Aw yeah! Now this is a good fight" she said happily as she started to attack her shadow clone, lightning flashed form both of the clouds, both dodging it at they aimed at each other. LS punched her shadow clone in the face, distracting it for a few seconds. She quickly hid inside of her cloud so she couldn't be seen by the clone, when the shadow turned around... BAM! LS hit it with a bolt of lightning so powerful

the swordfight was heating up, both caliber's not giving a single inch to the other.

 

then, without warning, they both burst into dark magic, and their swords started flying at supersonic speeds.

 

but even then, neither could get the upper hand. they began running, side-by-side, jumping and zooming in unpredictable ways, colliding often.

 

the fight was even beginning to take to the air.

LS looked at the calibers fighting. "Um, what's going on there?" She asked in confusion as the calibers began to fly up a little. LS conked her shadow clone on the head hard while it was pinned to the ground to keep it weak. "IB, has that ever happened before?" She said, pointing at the air fight

Rave saw Caliber use some dark magic. "What a scrub" he told himself. He started to walk away from the fight, towards a wall. "Let them fight, there is no need to be dealing with them right now, I am nearly ready, I only need a bit more time. The clones will keep them busy" he thought to himself. To him, the other ponies were nothing but a nuisance. The wall opened up a doorway. Then it closed behind him, leaving behind a thick metal door.

"Hey look, he's getting away!" She flew up to the metal door and banged on it to get it to open, but it was stuck. "DIE!" she yelled as she starting attacking the shadows again. The shadow fight of caliber and his shadow seemed to be endless. "c'mon Cal! You got this!"

Blizzard eye his own shadowy clone, "Interesting..." He then activated his Barebone style, "Let's get this on!" He charged at the shadow with his hoof moves, but the shadow managed to evade and block his attacks. When the clone attacked, IB did the same thing, and it seemed like an infinite loop, "I...don't...know Lightining, .....but these clones....are a challenge...."

"Don't give up IB! You got this! Teach your clone who's boss!" She encouraged him. "You stay down shadow Lightning!" She said, conking her shadow clone on its head again. Blu re-appeared in the room. "BLU! Look out!" She said, but then blu's shadow came to life, and it was just another infinite battle.

Rave walked down the dark hallways. "You know you can always turn back. You don't have to do this". "Of course you do, this is your destiny. You will fulfill the destiny of the Darkmanes and extract your rightful revenge" he was thinking to himself. He came to a halt. He stood in the middle of a stone circle, the floor filled with red runes and surrounding the stone circle were pillars of dark crystals. "Enough you two" he said to himself. "Let it begin". His horn started to glow bright red, the runes turned cold blue and the dark crystals started to vibrate with dark red.

caliber finally had an idea.

 

he froze, and let his shoulder get stabbed.

 

he grinned, grabbing the shadow's sword with his free hoof so it cant escape, and swinging his sword in a deadly ark towards his shadow's head.

 

it connected, and the shadow's head rolled on the floor for a moment, before disappearing.

 

caliber slumped to the ground. he's overused his dark magic, and he's been injured.

Skylar stirred. She was waking up. She heard vague voices of Zecora and that one pegasus that was LS' sister. She opened her eyes, and was greeted to the inside of Zecora's hut.

 

She immediately felt the pain in her wings. Or... what used to be her wings. She didn't want to look at them. She could feel them. Strange, cramping, misshapen. She felt tears sting her eyes. She couldn't speak-- if she did, she would break down, she felt.

 

(Should I roleplay Zecora? Is Humble still going to do that, do you think?)

Blizzard was pretty much locked within his battle. So he eventually got an idea. He dropped to the ground, seemingly defeated, "Ah! I'm down." When the shadow was about to strike, Blizzard struck with a deadly uppercutted him, and punched him sending it into a wall, before disappearing. "Aha! Who's next?"

Rave's eyes started to glow as well. Not with green, but rather with purple. "Yes, I can feel the power. This power has been lying for so long, however, it will now be used once again. The secret that was supposed to stay buried, hidden and kept a secret, will be revealed once more and it will terrorize the world once more" he laughed maniacally.
