Was Troubleshoes' home purposely made to look too small for him?

In Appleloosa's Most Wanted, one thing that struck me as odd was Troubleshoes' home looked FAR too small for him. However, was it purposely made to look too small for him, to emphasize his clumsiness/supposed "bad luck"? The Apple family homestead is home to another larger than average stallion, Big Macintosh. However, unlike Troubleshoes' home, the farm homestead is large enough for the hulking red pony to comfortably move around in, with no mishaps. (that we've seen anyways)

Probably. The easiest way for the writers to show off his clumsiness was to have him bump into things and cause trouble in his own home, and the easiest way to facilitate that in a short amount of time was to make the house smaller than it realistically should be.

Just a thought, but it could seem small because he is so big! He is a horse after all and not a pony. Unless there are houses built specifically for horses xP

Horses don't have cutie marks, so he's obviously a pony.

element of irony

7th Element confirmed!

Anywho, if we ignore the purely comedic value of Troubleshoes' house being too small, it could be because it's a trailer, in Equestria, so it will be made by ponies for ponies, which are a lot smaller than a horse, especially a big one like him.

Well zebras have cutie marks so I don't see why horses couldn't. He could be a pony, I was informed he was a horse though, which I guess wasn't really cannon. The name "Troubleshoes Clyde" sounds like a play on words of Clydesdale. Also the definition of pony is:

"a horse of a small breed, especially one whose height at the withers is below 14 hands 2 inches (58 inches)"

But I suppose since it's not confirmed cannon that he is a horse, he could just be a pony. I just thought it was cannon that he was a horse but I guess I could be wrong. But thats kinda off topic tho XP. Anyway he is big compared to the other ponies, so it could be that they didn't build houses to fit his size.

He's pretty much just a Pony with a Clydesdale motif.

He is a very large pony who clearly does not seem to have a job at all. Therefore, the best he can afford was that cabin we saw on the show was so small for him. His size makes it even worse for him.

However, it still didn't seem to bother him.

He should still consider nailing his furniture, appliances, etc. down.

Probably moves it often so he can not do that or he is too dumb to do so. Seems to be the latter though, he is not the brightest amongst ponies.

Even if you compare his house to the CMC, it looks small.

And maybe it's small because he's poor?
