gaming Silent Hills resurected as a X-box One exclusive title. Dirty Rumor or Truth?

According to some sources on IGN, a anonymous rumor at E3 is predicting the new Silent Hills game will be resurrected on the X-box One home console. Microsoft has made no word on this yet, but it is being said that Microsoft will buy it out assuming that it sells well enough to break even. This is something since the selling point for a new game being $60 ($59.99). This may cause a uproar in the gaming community if this turns out to be true.

 

So what do you think will happen? Is the rumor true? Or is the rumor a dirty lie to stir up the gaming fan base? Tell me your opinions on this.

I think it will happen but it won't be the same game since Del turro and kojima won't be involved. I won't ever get to play if I wanted to since I will never have another Microsoft system after my problems with the 360. I will still probably watch a let's play of it though.

psh. Don't personally feel it should belong to any console exclusively, since its a pretty good game series and I want everyone to be able to play it (Although having it for wii u would decrease the graphics and would probably end up shite so >.<).
And idk, because the guy 'leaking; the rumour implied the deal was for billions of dollars, and whilst microsoft have been spending a LOT on IPs I don't think silent hill is worth that much to them. Its vaguely possible but unlikely.

So basically it'll be a Microsoft's Bayonetta 2 in terms of how they got the game as an exclusive.

 

I'm calling bullshit, as much as I'd love to eat my own words. That said I won't be 100% satisfied unless it still involves Kojima and Del Toro is involved

Even Microsoft wouldn't pull that off by buying Silent Hills. What Konami did was the dumbest thing to do, and later by next year, Konami will be joining the recently defunct THQ two years ago int heir graves unless they realize that they made a big mistake into canceling Silent Hills.

It's pretty obviously a rumor. Konami wants nothing to do with Kojima since he left, Del Toro has left the project, and Norman Reedus is gone, too. They'd have to start the project from scratch, and frankly I think they're in too much financial trouble to do that.

 

Also, why is PC not on the list of platforms? You picked two godawful systems and one with some merit, but is about to be replaced.
