Sound Wave took the opertunity and blasted Neri with his sound gun, high pitch directed synths blasted him

Heat Wave walked around the store and grabbed the most expensive vodka, he walked past the isle and put the large bottle on the counter "bag it"

People were in most of the rooms of the house with loud party music playing, the target was in the living room watching TV with a group of his friends, a shotgun was laying right next to him on the couch

 

It is 12:30pm

Tempest dodged the blast and waited for another opportunity to attack. He wouldn't let his other half take over like that and he needed to be careful. The dragon then fired a small stream of electricity from his mouth, hoping to disable Sound Wave's weapon.

"This motherf...no I can use that." He snuck quietly behind Heat Wave then with a quick movement knocked the helmet off of his head and smashed him in the face with the vodka, breaking the glass and stabbing him in the face with some shards. While Heat Wave was still distracted Green threw a haymaker straight for Heat's ear hoping to knock him off balance.

Neri using his speed once again but not at full blast narrowly escaped the sound wave and lessened what it would do by using his own sound to negate it. He froze up catching his breath before unleashing torrents of loud bangs by the gun which had alot of force... Enough to push an iron door atleast three feet backwards and break the bond it had with the walls.

Aurora says, "Dad is working his case again. He was at the scene right now. That Mr. Manhattan doesn't sound like a good character. He thinks those like me are bad because of a few bad Metas mom."

 

Aurora isn't happy about that guy. She knows her means no good for the good metas.

"Oh yeah, I am totally your guy. I mean as we speak I'm killing some god forsaken gang that some people want dead. Hold on one moment," Shade kicked down the door into the house to find himself seeing his target lying on a couch surrounded by lots of other people, all staring at him. Making this look like a Fear killing is going to be too much work, let's just make it like one of the other rival gangs. Get some heat off my clients and make even more dough.

 

Shade holstered his pistol and got his captured uzi ready. Shade raised the phone to ear. "This may get a bit loud." Shade then turned his attention to the gang members with all of them training their guns on him. "You know it's impolite the aim guns at guests? It may make them feel unwelcomed. Kids these days." He opened fire.

knowing he was beat, Sound Wave ran as fast as he could to get away from them

Heat Wave was completely taken off guard by the surprise attack and fell over, he was completely dazed and confused

Her mother sighed "Some people in the world, just arent good people"

Most the gang got killed, the target took cover behind the couch and began blind firing the shotgun

Tempest smirked as he flew after Sound Wave. "I don't think so." He thought to himself as he flew after Sound Wave. The dragon wasn't about to let him get away just to rob another store. After a few minutes though, he lost his target and sighed. "Well, that's just perfect." The dragon then flew into the air and thought of what to do next.

Green saw Heat fall down and gave him a swift kick to the side of the head followed by a couple of fast punches. "Ok. I'm done." He walked over to the freezer, grabbed a soda, pulled out his wallet and threw a couple hundred dollars at the cashier then started to calmly wall out. "Damages and the soda. Call the police next time instead of watching the fight." Once outside he quickly moved into the crowd so no one would see him.

Sara looks dispassionately through the contract offers when one catches her eye. A mental command brings it up for her to read and she nods, "Not many details, but this seems interesting... I guess I'll send them a message." She pulls out a phone and dials the number of the burner, directly letting it go to the message box, "Hello there, your contract seemed intriguing, if you need someone to take your contract, call me at this number." She lists the direct line connected to her nanites, which would allow her to pull some additional information from the call if she receives a message back.

Emile had just woken up to the sound of someone screaming in the alley next to his apartment. He got dressed, pulled the neck of his specially designed shirt up to cover his face, pulled his hood over his head, put on his mag-gloves, using their force to pull his pistols towards him, holstering them, then doing the same for his batons that combined to make a bo staff, and finally, put on his specialized gauntlet. He looked out the window to see a mugging in progress. Sighing, Emile teleported behind the mugger. The dark figure appearing out of nowhere caused the victim to scream. The mugger turned around, only to get punched in the face, losing a few teeth in the process. Emile continued to beat the mugger with his batons until only a bloody, whimpering coward was left. He took the wallet off of him and returned it to the victim, teleporting back into his apartment to check the security feed across the city. He located a few points of interest. A bank robbery, a crime scene with what looked to be federal agents, and what appeared to be gang violence. He decided to check out the crime scene, teleporting to the rooftop of the building across from where "FEAR" was written.

 

"Another one? Really? How have I not figured this out yet?" Emile teleported back to his apartment to grab mini cameras, returned to the crime scene, and scattered them around so as not to miss anything.

Neri looked at Sound Wave and the probably moronic dragon as they both ran away ''eh, got better things to do...'' after he said that to himself as there was no one around he decided to head home to his little apartment to take care of some stuff, like cleaning... Well considering he has not been there for the past month since he was staying at a friend's house all the time because she didnt want him to live in a rotten apartment... Well it worked out for her until her parents got home from their buisness trip and told me to leave before scolding her.

 

 

 

From a distant Neri was being watched... Soundlessly watched by two pairs of eyes staring eternally in the abyss of no emotions, two eyes that seemed so close... Yet so distant from making contact with someone else's emotions. Later the eyes vanished to find new prey... New victims for their experiment.

"If you're quite finished." Maxwell said with a slightly annoyed tone. "I'm not discussing the details on the phone. Come to Warehouse 18 by the pier in two hours if you're interested." He then hung up.

Max then noticed he had a new message forwarded to him from his personal servers, made so he couldn't be tracked, and decided to reply. This was at least a two man job anyway. He texted the number using his personal messaging system so as not to leave a trail. "Warehouse 18 by the pier. 2 hours. come alone." He typed and then sent.

Sara receives the message, and to her surprise is unable to pull any information from the call's data, "Whoever scrubbed this did a good job..." She says to herself before plotting a route toward the pier. On her way she decides to pick up another burner phone just in case of emergency. After a quick fabrication of a few large bills from smaller ones she buys another phone, then tosses her old one into a trash can and sends a few nanites after it. In an instantaneous burst the entire trashcan is set ablaze, melting the phone into an irrepairable hunk of slag as she merrily walks away.

Back at home, Emile was flipping through his security feed when he saw what seemed to be a meta setting a trashcan ablaze only about a mile from his apartment. Shutting down his equipment at home and activating all the safeguards, he headed out to determine the intentions of said meta, taking nothing but his batons and his usual attire for his vigilante acts, that is, his gauntlet, his contacts, and his mag-gloves.

As she coninues to walk away Sara sees that she's being tailed by someone wearing an outfit that could only belong to a metahuman vigilantee. Silently cursing herself for not having changed into a combat uniform, she decides to test whether he is really following her or not. At a seemingly random alley she turns, enters, goes halfway down, and activates her nanites to make her blend in with the wall. Not daring to move at all, she becomes as quiet as she can, not even breathing so as to avoid disturbing the illusion.

Emile sees the girl turn into an alley, and decides to play it cool and walk past the alley. After passing the alley, he drops a tracker that should adhere to the girl, assuming she steps on it, then proceeds to walk into the convenience store nearby and places a micro camera on the window. He buys a bag of chips and a bottle of soda and walks out returning the way he came. After passing the alley for the second time, he makes a left at the next corner, activates his gauntlets holographic screen and turns on the camera feed.

Sara waits a bit longer, then walks out of the alley, not yet noticing the tracker that attaches to her leg. Going back to walking away, she keeps her eyes open to find the person who was tailing her before, still a bit paranoid. Instead of going back to her main route, she decides to take a route that will take her to a safe house, just in case she needs to lay low for a while.

Looks like most of the guys had almost no reaction time, how quaint, Shade thought as he watched everybody fall the floor. Now his target had a little better time. He was cowering in fear behind his couch, firing blindly in Shade's direction. Shade put the phone to his ear just as his new client muttered his directions to be at the pier in 2 hours. He hung up before Shade could reply. "How rude of him, and to think I'm going to work for him."

 

Shade began walking towards the couch but took a load of buckshot to his arm holding the cell phone. He dropped his cell phone as he clutched his arm. "Oh now you done it kid." Shade let go his wounded arm and let his healing factor heal his wounds as he picked up his phone off a body. He heard clicks as the his target realized his shotgun was empty. Shade walked around the couch to find the target frantically trying to find rounds for his shotgun. "Oh I'm sorry, it seems you ran out of ammo. But it is your lucky day! I have plenty to give to you." Shade raised his uzi and fired a burst into his head. 

 

"Now that is taken care of, where can I find a marker...oh right! I have one in my pocket." Shade began writing on the wall, North Side, in red marker. "There that should do it. Now to take a photo and send it to my client so he can pay up." Shade proceeded to do so and while waiting for a reply, he walked outside to take one of the gang's vehicles to head to the pier.

Emile watched the girl run off from the camera, then switched to the tracker when she was out of sight. He returned to the convenience store, grabbed his camera, then went into the alley the girl had been hiding in to see if there was anything there. "Dammit, nothing. At least the tracker seems to have worked."

Upon reaching her safe house, Sara enters and lets the scanner at the door work its magic. To her shock it finds a tracking g device, which she removes and destroys. Realizing this room is now compromised however, she decides to wait as whoever tried to track her comes to investigate where the signal dropped off. Her eyes appear to silver over as she connects to the various cameras on the street, watching for movement

Seeing the signal go dark, Emile pulls up his hood and the neck of his shirt to cover his face, activates his mag gloves, climbs up to the rooftops using a fire escape, and starts to run towards where the signal dropped off, making occasional glances over his shoulder to make sure no one was following. When he finally arrived at the location and started dropping his micro cameras around the area to better plan his next move.

Sara continues to wait for her tail to show up, deciding it may be time to change her body somewhat if this person turns out to be knowledgeable about who she is already. Pushing that thought away for now though, she sits in front of the door, waiting for someone to come in, resolving to leave if no one shows up in the coming minutes.

Why does this town have to be such a maze? Shade was driving around the town. "What am I doing? I have GPS on my phone!" Shade then took out his phone and realized that the blood from the body he dropped his phone on had seeped into the casing. "Oh great, now I have to find somebody to give me directions. Ugh, just my luck."

Shade pulled around a corner and parked his stolen vehicle. He got out and headed to the nearest doorway. ((Which happens to be Fractal's safehouse.)) Shade knocks on the door and calls out, "Hey! Anyone home? I need some directions. My phone ran out of battery."

A news helicopter was flying above, upon spotting the dragon, they focused on it

Heat Wave stumbled out of the store, putting his motorcycle  helmet back on, he fell over and got back up, leaning against the wall for support, holding his head

The stolen car was far from conspicuous, being a souped up SUV with neon lights and underlights

on one of his cameras appeared the last member of the super vilian team Wave Force, it was Shock Wave, he wore a blue motorcycle helmet, a long blue open trench coat, a black shirt with lightning bolt designs on it, black cargo pants, rubber boots, white golf gloves, and a metal stud belt, he had minor powers of electricity. he had been noticing that cameras had been showing up very recently in the past few minutes and started zapping them
