Gepetto was arrested because Pinocchio ran away and the police thought that he abused him. Pinocchio returned home, killed the wise, talking cricket, and ended up hanging from a tree. Mulan goes home, finds her father dead, her mother remarried, and the khan calling her to be his concubine. Mulan then kills herself. I am very much the real King Arthur. You know the fake," he says, brushing off the dust as if nothing happened.

*Weiss took a deep breath.*

"You really are pretty dense, aren't you? I don't have much time left, so lets try to finish this up."

*Weiss gathered a mass of light energy in her hand, everything she had left. The light in her hair left, returning it to its black color, save for the white patch. The light gathered in her right fist and her feet, and then she released it. She sped forward at Arthur and as she reached him, blasted all of her power into a spearing punch, strong enough to spear through an inch of steel, aimed right at his stomach. As her attack finished all the energy around her faded quickly, and was unable to see if her attack has been successful before she blacked out and fell to the ground. Even her hero suit faded, leaving her in her street clothes.*

While the man was indeed blinded for a few moments by the light, and was somehow hurt by it. "What? How?!?" he yelled. He noticed that his opponent had fallen to the ground. 'Very impressive,' he thought. He could easily kill her, but decided not to. He enjoyed the fight. He needed new armor, and saw the terrified people. He decided to head to the Murk to find one of his subjects their who could repair his armor.

Casimir had stayed in Sasha's apartment with King and Aurora, listening to their talk about Aurora's abilities and origins. He soon noticed that Sasha wasn't saying anything at all, and when he decided to start talking to her himself, he realized she was missing. Casimir then started to hear and feel faint rumbles coming from somewhere in the city, then noticed what appeared to be a dome of light shattering in the distance.

 

"You're fucking kidding, right?"

 

What had she gotten herself into?

 

"Stay here," he told King and Aurora. Casimir then left without another word.

...

 

He finally arrived at the scene, finding Sasha out cold on the pavement. The person she was fighting against was nowhere to be seen, and by the looks of it, she had used up a lot of energy in a short amount of time. Sirens were approaching, but Casimir took to the sky with her before they could get there.

"King!"

 

Casimir burst into the apartment with her, laying her down on the couch.

 

"She left without our knowing. Normally it wouldn't be such a big deal, but whatever or whoever she faced was a bigger threat than she anticipated."

"She overused Supernova. Usually on the rare occasion she uses it, she is able to end it before it runs out, or just lets it run its course. But she burst all her light energy out early instead. This isn't good. There is a high chance that Schwartz might make an appearance. She doesn't have any light charge to dissuade the shadows from influencing her. And I can't do anything about it unless she actually turns."

*King sat at her side.*

"'I'm not sure she was thinking about the consequences of what she was doing, but that's not surprising considering who she is."

*King stood up and quickly went over to Sasha's side.*

Aurora says, "My moonlight scyth could help her. It uses the light of the moon to focus. But I would need to encase her in my Lunar Reflection: final lotus."

 

Aurora draws the Lunara reflection: final lotus. It is a large crystal flower with a crystal stem and a small lilypad like crystal field below it.

 

She shows it to King. "It uses the light of the moon to counter darkness."

"That's not how things work with her unfortunately. Think of a pair of bars, one light, one shadow. These represent her power, her soul, and her internal light and shadow. These bars are used up when she uses internal light or internal shadow, these are used by her buffs. Her dark armor, as well has her sunburst and supernova. Normally, supernova leaves her with a small amount of light energy left. But if she uses too much light power while it's active, the supernova can consume all of her light and end early. This leaves a gap, that the shadows will attempt to fill. Its unique to her, and only light that her own body generates will work to suppress the shadow."

*King explained.*

"The thing is, Schwartz, which is what we call her when she is under the influence of shadow, is the real Sasha. Or, at least originally. She originally only had shadow power, until shortly after she met the Rocketeer. His positive influence awoke her light power. She considered The Rocketeer to be like her father. Unfortunately, being so suppressed by the light, infuriated the shadow. Now, whenever it gets influence, Sasha gets volatile, angry, aggressive, and very, very, dangerous. All we can do is hope that the shadows won't take influence, and if they do, then I will have to use the ability of The Star to suppress the shadow, it forces her body to generate light energy. I hate doing it, it causes her massive amounts of pain, but if I don't then people end up dying."

*King's face grew sad.*

"And even worse, its getting harder to suppress Schwartz. She only appears on very rare occasions, each suppression has caused her more pain, and taken longer. I'm afraid it may get to the point where it won't work anymore."

"Yea I remember where I parked, it's right over-" Shade was cut off by seeing a tow truck carrying their getaway vehicle away. "Damn, there goes our getaway. But I've heard walking is what all the cool kids do. Right?" Shade shrugged. 

 

"I guess best thing to do now is steal another vehicle and blow the charges." Shade pulled out the detonator and flicked it around his fingers.

Silver nods, "I'll take care of finding a vehicle, you blow the charges. I want to watch as that building crumbles, it'll be quite the lightshow."

 

Walking out of the alley, she finds a nondescript looking white sedan and smiles, "It's a bit of a downgrade, but it'll work." She says to herself before placing a hand on the door. In seconds she's bypassed the car's electronic locking mechanism and pops the door locks, simultaneously disabling the alarm and entering the driver's seat in one fluid motion. A moment's concentration causes her nanites to enter the starter and jump it into life, and she shifts into gear to drive back to the alley.

 

She pulls up next to the alley where Shade was still standing, "Shall we watch the world burn?" She asks curiously

"I never said anything about forcing her to generate light. I ment it as a containment. Because the light of the moon reflects and counters the darkness my reflection can contain her until her natural light returns. It's more of a prison for darknes then it is a weapon." "We've never manage to contain Schwartz before either. No matter what she is locked in she always manages to bust her way out. Once we found a meta who's ability was all about layered barriers, he boasted that nothing could break through. When she woke up, she just pounded on the barriers and within minutes, the barriers were broken and the meta was bleeding and crying on the ground. Schwartz hadn't used her powers. She can't be contained, by anything. All we can do is wait, and hope."

*He picked the still sleeping Sasha up and carried her into her room, setting her down on her bed. He came back out and went to the kitchen and took a red bull out from the fridge. He chugged it down and stretched his jaw. He then turned to Aurora again.*

"I'm going to keep an eye on her until she wakes up. Should Schwartz be the one who wakes, Ill do my best to suppress her. If things go bad, Cas and I should be able to handle it, so if you want to head home you can."

When Silver returned from her vehicle stealing trip, Shade was trying to solve the Rubik's Cube he had earlier. When he heard the vehicle approach him, he waited until Silver approached. "That is way more up my alley," Shade smirked. 

 

"And to watch the world burn, let's say I'm one of those guys who love to watch the world burn." Shade got in the car, and when the pair reached a suitable location to watch, Shade clicked his detonator.

There's an ominous click as the detonator transfers its signal to the explosives placed all throughout the building, then there's a rumbling as the structure begins to collapse. The police have evacuated several blocks around the previous explosion, which thankfully takes everyone out of the path of the current one, and the shining Mercury Labs building begins to collapse on top of itself. The full process takes almost a minute, and shattered bits of glass fall like tears in the dead zone that is the police exclusion barrier. There is nothing left, though Silver smiles to herself as she made sure that every piece of evidence that would remain is tied to e-corp.

 

She turns to Shade, "That was way more satisfying than it should have been. Shall we contact our employer and receive our payment?"

She's emerging. We can literally see the darkness pooling from under her and seeping back into her body.

 

"Things aren't going to be pretty when she wakes up."

 

Casimir turned to Aurora, understanding what she was suggesting. Similar techniques had been used on him before, but while effective and certainly painful, he had always broken out somehow. He doubted it would be any different with Schwartz, who even he had to admit was a force to be reckoned with.

 

"Aurora is it? You need to understand that Schwartz is going to be coming out with years of pent up rage. She is more or less the embodiment of all of Sasha's rage and darkness; she isn't just some ordinary dark spirit you can contain without much effort."

 

It was foolish for all of you to allow her darkness to be suppressed in the first place , Drevenon remarked with some anger. It would have been better for her to have learned to live alongside it, even use it to her advantage. Then neither she nor you all would have to worry about this happening.

"She had been repressing her darkness nearly subconsciously when her light emerged. When Schwartz emerged for the first time it was already evident that she was not someone whom we could let roam free."

*He pointed at the scar on his jaw.*

"It certainly left a lasting reminder on me."

"The issue of the matter is that Schwartz isnt a different person inside her head, its still the same Sasha, its just the influence of the negative emotions causes a massive impact on the girl, shs doesnt even remember the things she does once we get the darkness sealed again."

*King explained.*

"When she learned of what happens, she requested we do what we do, and she was forceful about it. I have been searching for alternate means, but nothing has shown up thus far."

She then gets on her cell and calls home. "Hey, mom. I won't be back till late tonight. Spending some time at a friend's place."

Pat was becoming frustrated. Then, there was a huge explosion, and Mercury Labs collapsed into the ground.

"I know a great deal of other things as well. I keep up to speed on every meta in the country. I'm kind of like Batman that way. I know them so that I can fight them if they go rogue. Look, I would never kill someone who didn't deserve it. I had a perfect chance to blow some villain's brains out today, but I just left him bloody and bruised for the police to find. I'm not asking you to trust me, I'm asking you to listen to me," Emile said.

 

The building exploded and he quickly activated detective vision. "No one in the blast zone, all civilians clear. No injuries. It's safe to move. I'm still willing to tell you who I am, and even where I live, even though you could easily overpower me and take me in," Emile said.

Shade snapped out of his stupor and got out his new cell phone. "Right we should give our buyer a call. Though I bet he has seen the breaking news at this point."

Shall we flee before someone gets suspicious?" she asks before rolling up the windows and peeling out, heading off to another safe house of hers to divide up the loot they received

The voice of the same women they met before greeted Shade. "I assume you have it then." She said, knowing who was on the other side of the line. "Meet me back at the warehouse. We will discuss your payment there." With that, she hung up and made her way there.

Shade lifted his hand to a stroke his chin, as if thinking. "Why pay so much for such an easy job? Eh, whatever, as long as we get paid, why should it matter?"

 

Shade materialized the B17 container back into his lap for a closer inspection.

I'll reseal it on a molecular scale once we're done so that weird lady won't know the difference in the first place." she looks the container over, "And we get to keep the other ones of course." she smiles as she turns toward the warehouse, ready to make the exchange.
