Hey everypony!

I have been playing this game for a while now and I thought some of you would be interested in it. It's called Realm of the Mad God. It's somewhat like an 8-bit World of Warcraft so to say.

You start off as a Mage, and as you level your mage you get new classes. The level cap is 20, which takes ~1 - 2 hours to reach, but the thing is if you die it's a perma-death and you have to restart. I find the game is addicting because whenever you die you always want to have a better character then before so you try harder. Sometimes you die along the way to level 20 which can be frustrating or if you have a level 20 which is stacked with good gear and you die, that can also be frustrating.

The controls are quite basic with (W - forward, S - backwards, A/D - Left/Right) and you can also turn the screen while walking with Q/E.

Alright so what the game is actually about.

You are summoned to the realm you play on by a "Mad God" named Oryx. He summoned you so that you can be food for his minions. You start off in a safe haven called the Nexus and you go through portals there to bring you to realms where you start off at level 1. You go around following quests of monsters you should kill. The more quests, dungeons and gods you beat the more fame and experience you get. Experience gets you higher levels while Fame gets you class quests complete which earns you other classes to play as.



The extremely nice thing about this game is that each realm on your server will old up to 85 people and it will keep creating realms to play on if others continue to be full. Every so often after most gods are killed, Oryx will summon you to his castle with everyone else that is in your realm. You have to venture through his castle until you find him. Then you go through a battle with him and after (IF) you kill him, the realm will reset.

Anyways, i'm going to winter wrap this up by saying, if anypony decides to try this game out I hope you enjoy it! It is pretty fun, and it can seem addicting at points.

It's alright I guess, the thing that intrigues me the most is the whole 'Ancestors' system.

Although I must admit I'm not very good, if you want to organize a party, I'm willing to help, but I haven't gotten very far in terms of classes.

I played this game a while ago. I think I just got the Paladin before I stopped. Its definitely fun but pretty samey after a while.
