technical issue Possible Overlooked Issue

I don't know if anyone has stated this before - if so, my apologies for the redundancy.

When someone deletes a status update, it does disappear from the source URL as it should, looking as such:

 

 

However, even though the status does get removed from what you see above, the status does not get removed from the user's latest status bubble quote.

@Jeric, please pardon me for using you as an example, but your last deleted status was the reason I thought to make this topic...

The above "Nopony has left a message yet!" picture is what will be seen on the status' own URL, but the status is still able to seen via the user's profile:

I was wondering if this was a known issue, and/or if was something of concern for the sake of deleted status updates.

I know that Staff can see deleted status updates, and deleted comments, but I feel that the non-staff community ought not be able to see them, especially if the reason for deletion was severe enough.

No we are aware, and there is a ticket on it. We just haven't gotten to it yet. If the comment is severe enough, it can be deleted. Me not paying attention to the difference between the search and status update wasn't worth the effort to go through that process.

I figured it was known   

 

I just thought that in case it wasn't I would bring it to attention.
