Gypse nodded and stood quietly for a few minutes listening to them talk amongst themselves. "Well... You're welcome to start in free side as long as you need. These are generally the most welcoming ponies I've met in my travels. There's food shelter clean water and supplies. If you boys need anything you can probably find it here." With that she gave a small bore and turned to leave figuring they had things to do and likely didn't need her company any longer.

"I guess your joining us then" he says compiling both of the answers "I hope that you will become calmer as we travel, its no fun talking with a moody pony" he said then realized what message that might have sent since he just lost his family "no offense or anything" he tried to correct his mistake

Hazmat saw Gypse trying to leave "Hey wait one second, before you leave, I just want to say... Thanks for your help. If your going to head out I want you to know, I owe you one." He said before looking back at Chains and Tin Can, "Now... what about the smooth talker?" He said pointing at Crowbar. "Is he joining us also? " He asked as he took off his hat and shook it, to get some of the Moohave dust that the wind had blown onto it off.

I saw Gypse try to leave however Chain and Nuclear quickly tried convincing her not to. Nuclear then asked what we should do about crowbar. To be perfectly honest I hadn't the slightest idea on what to do with him."Crowbar huh...let him tag along for now on er a trial run yeah a trial run!" I gave my best answer to the little predicament. Crowbar hasn't proven his skills yet, maybe he was all talk but maybe is enough for me.

"You don't owe me anything. But you are welcome." Gypse said smiling kindly. "Good luck on your travels.. I hope you all find whatever it is you are all looking for." She said. She brushed her bangs out of her face then smiled and headed towards the house she was staying in.

"for some reason I feel like we will see her again" he said "I just have a hunch, also yeah Crowbar we will give him this trial run" Chain paused "never said that about a pony before feels strange" he looked over to Nuclear "so can you tell us a little about the stuff inside Freeside? like details not just names"

"Freeside is run by a gang called the Kings, they are led by the King, He resides within the King's School of Impersonation. They try their best to establish some law in Freeside. They have had conflict with the many NCR squatters in the area. Down the road from the King's hideout is the Atomic Wrangler, a casino run by the Garrets. It is the only place to gamble outside the Strip. They can possible be a good place to go get work. Then across the street is the Silver Rush, it is run by the Van Graffs, a crime family that is the major seller of Magical Energy Weapons. Unlike the Gun Trotters they don't make their own weapons, I don't know how they get them but they seem to never be short on merchandise. We can see them for work... but if you do, count me out. I am not working for a crime family. " Hazmat tried to remember anything else his parents told him about Freeside. "There is a shop in outer Freeside near the North Entrance, I can't quite remember the name of it... but I do know it is owned by two stallions, one handles supplies like food and medicine, and the other handles weapons." He said, putting his hat back on.

"hmm well thanks for the information when we get money and if we all think its ok then we could get weapons for each one of us, magical ones for me, rifles and pistols for you, Hazel will get the heavy stuff if he even needs it, and Crowbar will get melee weapons and other small guns" he said trying to clarify what all of them will use "but before that we need money so lets go to the atomic wrangler"

Crowbar made a face. "Yeah, fine. Put me though a stupid trial. And I told ya'll my skills. Me being good at making caps should kinda be enough. And a friend of mine is in a crime family up north, so they ain't all bad. And while you guys think on how we can get more caps I'll go actually make some." He smirked. "Maybe I'll ask Rose for some help." He then looked at Hazmat with a frown and pointed at him.

 

"Don't drag me away from her like last time, or I'll give ya scare where the sun don't shine." He said before running off after Rose.

When he caught p to her he slid to a stop for the second time, next to her. "Hey there Rose. Mind if I call ya that? I was wondering, maybe you could help me out a little, Therse an abandon building near here where I hid a small stash of scrap'n crap I can sail, mind coming with me?" He said with a smile.

Gypse was surprised that crowbar had come after her but she smiled some. "Rose... I like that. You can call me Rose if you like." She said happily. " sure. I don't mind coming to help you. I haven't got anything else to do at the moment. And I am happy to be able to help. Lead the way. " she said with a smile.

Hazmat sighed "What are we gonna do with him... If this happens to mare we meet... I'm gonna hurt him" He said under his breathe. He looked at the Tin can and Chains "Alright lets head to the Atomic Wranglers, and Chains on the way we can talk about what I'm gonna call you since you don't like being called Chains."

"You know I'm not gonna even say how many things were wrong with his sentence, but follow and abandoned building should set of some alarms," I jokingly stated as I pushed my way through both of them. This van graff family sounds like the kind of bunch rangers back home would launch a crusade against. If this is king territory we should be able to wander the streets without hassle due to Nuclear's supposed favor. Nuclear also mentioned NCR squatters, I didn't expect the NCR to spread out so far. It felt like only yesterday Gawd was declaring the NCR at shattered hoof. I made my way to the atomic wrangler as suggested by Chain and Nuclear ignoring the locals who gawked and stared at me. I knew my companions would be right behind me so I didn't need to look back.

"Wait... adds and s... oh your name is Chain, not Chains... sorry I must have misheard back when we met." He apologized looking forward at the Tin Can "Does he walk ahead of the group a lot? Hell, you would think that armor of his would slow him down." He said, sighing. He lowered a hat to a certain angle that the shadow covered his eyes. With that and the Bandanna, No pony would be able to recognize him, not even a close friend... if he had one.

"he is good with that armor I could never wear it without breaking every bone in my body" he said in a low voice trying to make the others laugh "oh were here" Chain looks at the sign saying atomic wrangler  "I hope they give us an easy mission for good pay or any mission for good money"

The streets of freeside were as broke and dirty as the residents that lived there. But to be honest that's how many wastelanders were as sad as that sounded. The large flashing sign that read Atomic wrangler told me I found my destination. A gruff looking pony in leather armor stood outside smoking a cigar. "Ya want in it's gonna cost yeh twenty caps...each," he managed to say with the large nicotine filled roll in his mouth. Looking at Nuclear then Chain I turned back to face the guard up close and personal. "Ya gonna pay up or what your kinda gettin in me personal space." I laughed a little before I slammed my armored hoof into the chest of the pony practically sending him flying towards the wall.

 

  With a thud the guard slummed to the floor, I proceeded to open the door to get a look at the scenery. It was a rather garish place with torn tan colored wallpaper. Chandeliers lighted the casino, revealing many tables filled with countless patrons. A theater stage was even set up but it was currently unmanned. Looking further back I could see the gambling tables seated with many of those who couldn't buy in to the strip. To my right was the bar counter, alcohol bottles were lined up against the counter. A pony in a nice looking suit was eyeing my the whole time.

Hazmat walked in to the Wrangler after Tin Can "That is one way to do things." He said. He looked at the stallion at the bar 'that must be Mr. Garret...' Hazmat walked up to the bar "Are you Mr.Garret"

 

The stallion looked at Hazmat for a moment and said "Yeah... wha'cha need"

 

"Me and my 'friends' here are looking for some work" Hazmat replied, pointing at Chain and Tin-Can. "You have any work for us..."

 

Mr.Garret was thinking for a moment "Depends... you willing to get your hooves dirty?" He asked.

 

Hazmat turned to Chain and Tin Can "You guys willing to get your hooves dirty, because I certainly am..."

"I'll do it, its not like I haven't killed anypony before" he says to the others "I know Hazels in as well I mean I've seen him in the last few minutes knock out a pony without effort or thinking" he said answering for Hazel then looked at the well dressed man "anyway what is the job your talking about anyway?

"Somepony who was in here a few weeks killed one of our 'escorts' and took my money. Your job is simple, an eye for an eye. He killed one of my employees, and I want him killed for it. Bring me his ear, as a sign that you killed him. Also bring me the money he stole... don't try and cheat me, or else. If you do everything I ask of you, I will give you 15% of the caps that he took. Sounds like a deal?" Mr. Garret said, a small smirk on his face. "Oh... and use this to get his ear" He added as he set a cleaver on the bar. "Also... if you can make sure nopony sees you in the hit... I will give you 30% instead of just 15..." He finished.

 

Hazmat thought "How much did he steal?"

 

Mr.Garret smirked and said "660 Caps"

 

Hazmat smiled under his bandanna "99 or 198 caps? seems reasonable, what do you two think?" Hazmat asked Chain and Tin Can

"Easy job for easy caps, a little on the low side for a hit job but everypony has got to start somewhere. Fine might as well do this job, are you gonna give us a location or do you want us to wander till we find the bastard?" I asked Mr.Garret. Seriously 99 caps what kind of hit job is worth that little amount of money. Back in the east a couple of raiders and their warlord would have at least bagged me a couple hundred caps plus the equipment they were using.

"I'm fine with it" chain responded to them "I want to get more caps so I have a plan I go to silver rush and see what I can do there and if its worth it of course, you two can go find the pony seem like a plan?" he says to the others I wonder what Crowbar is doing. I hope its good and gets us money Chain thought

"I know it is a little low, but he isn't that dangerous. If he was an actual threat, I would pay you more." Mr. Garret said. "You can possibly find him in the outer area of Freeside, near Mick & Ralphs. He may have hired a bodyguard but as long as it isn't Girder... "

 

Hazmat looked at Mr.Garret "Who is Girder?" He interupted, raising his eyebrow

 

"An ex-desert Ranger, he deserted, painted his armor black and became a bodyguard here in Freeside."

Crowbar grinned. "Awesome, awesome. Follow me."  He leading her towards a nearly collapsed building near the gates of free side. It didn't really stand out but it seemed like you could go inside it, though it dose have two boards sealing the door. "I put the boards on so it would blend in with the other buildings. Makes others less likely to go inside. But I got traps just encase."

 

When they got to the building, Crowbar pulled out his crowbar and used it to pry the boards off. Then he kicked open the door. Inside was a few lockers, some desks and a about three large bags in the far off corner of the room.  But in front of them were two desks with about seven shotgun booby-traps. 

 

Crowbar went over and slowly deactivated them. He them placed the guns on his back. Next he grabbed the bags and walked over to Rose. "You mind carrying one of these? Sadly I ain't that strong." He chuckled.

Rose looked around in surprise. "My... It's a good thing no one ever tried to come in here." She said softly. She looked back at him and nodded. "Of course. I'll help you carry them." She said smiling a little. She took the bag and waited by the door for him to be ready to leave.

"Thanks." He said as he hoist the other bags on his back. He then head towards Mick & Ralph's to sail his stuff. "So, how long have ya live in free side? I've been here a few times, as you can tell. But not many times. Still don't know every nook and cranny. " He said as he walked kinda slowly next to her, gritting his teeth a little from the weight.
