Finia 260 July 3, 2015 Share July 3, 2015 I don't know if this topic has been already made. I am somewhat late with this. But i am really grateful that they try to be against this type of discrimination by making people feel comfortable with who they are ^ _ ^ I just wanna congratulate on the event in USA. Never feel ashamed of who you are

I love this motto always be yourself and never change just to be accepted by someone else.
Guest July 3, 2015 Share July 3, 2015 I'm overwhelmed. My best friend can get married in her home state now, and I can get married in New York when I have the money!
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,601 July 3, 2015 Share July 3, 2015 I have actually stopped calling it gay marriage now. Now, it is just marriage. Not sure if this stuff will ever apply to me because I may never get to the point of being married despite me being bisexual but hey, for the many that are at that point, this is one of the happiest things in the world to have happened.

Justin_Case001 4,896 July 4, 2015 Share July 4, 2015 Pro gay vs. anti gay. I'm sure this is what the liberal court justices did when they won the vote. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBXQlGNAx_Q Seriously though, I'm so pleased that the country is continuing to move in the right direction, even if change takes longer than it should imo.
GeekySonic 1,150 July 4, 2015 Share July 4, 2015 This is just one of many victories hopefully soon to come for the LGBT community's civil rights. 4 Check out my voice-acting demo reels on Casting Call Club, if you'd like.
Ridley Wolf 291 July 4, 2015 Share July 4, 2015 I'm just happy that our government is finally starting to back up the whole "all men are created equal" line. It was a little disappointng to see a few churches flying flags at half mast on the day it was announced, though. So much for the whole "judge not, lest ye be judged" bit.
BlackWater627 700 July 4, 2015 Share July 4, 2015 Blast. Missed this topic going up yesterday I guess. An appreciation thread? Thank you! Yes, it's awesome. It's amazing. Words can't describe how happy and full of joy I was when I heard the decision. It's been hard to really express how happy I am because of all of the arguments that have been racing around over it. It's like every time I just want to say "hooray" I'm getting pulled into some hateful argument that I don't want to be in. I have no doubt that this decision was a huge encouragement to others like me who are surrounded by people that look down on them. So a whole lot of YES to these equal rights. And also a whole lot of love and encouragement to my fellow LGBTers. (I don't care if that's a word or not ) I was writing a same-sex marriage fimfic before the decision was ever made. Does that make me a hipster? (I'm joking.) 2 Kindness is just a few words away. Tell someone something nice and be the Element of Kindness today! ♥
Strider 58 July 5, 2015 Share July 5, 2015 I can't describe how happy I felt when I heard the news! I'm glad the LGBT community is getting equal rights in this "free" country.
RavenholmZombie 1,330 July 5, 2015 Share July 5, 2015 I'm very happy that it was legalized in all 50 states. We Americans became more equal that day. Even though, despite this historic ruling, many people and groups (I'm looking at you, Westboro Baptist Church) will continue to spout anti-equality rhetoric and call for the extermination of either homosexuals or the United States for supporting Equality. 1 RavenholmZombie - Brony since 2011

Guest July 5, 2015 Share July 5, 2015 I'm glad that a law like this was finally enacted, no more dancing around the law having to pass it state by state. Huge victory for the LGBT community. I was very happy to hear that this law was finally passed on a federal level.
