open Canterlot High (Reboot!)

Segran had locked his door and was extremly bored before he got the bright idea to see what Lektra's up to in her class... With her mechanical wonders being dangerous if she loses somehow loses control over it. So he decided he would portal in... Even if he was interrupting, he was sure she wasn't there though, or he would probably have heard an explosion by now... Or just loud noises with his sensitive ears that is.

 

So after making the required preperations for a portal he created a purple oval shaped portal big enough for his entire body with a slight miscalculation so it ended up in the roof in Lektra's classroom instead of the wall, he didnt notice this before putting his head through and seeing the world upside down though. He looked around and didnt see Lektra but he did see the class which should be starting soon with Lektra aswell as Thunderstreak ''Well... Seems like someone got here before me, wondered why nothing had happend this early in the morning... Oh and hello to you all. My name is Segran, i'll be teaching you one of the most important subjects in my eyes. The Dark Arts, no. We wont be ressurecting anypony or using necromancy... Thats illegal and i would rather not get thrown into the demon jail of tartarus'' he finished his sentence with a cough and then fell down on the floor landing on a pair of legs which stretched from his back before getting upright on his hooves with the portal closing 'That was a close one' he thought to himself while trying to have a straight face.

 

Thunder jumped when someone burst throught the roof. He saw... Segran, of course, who else coudl it possibly be. "Well hello there Segran, i see that you still use you grand entrances" Said Thunder with a chuckle. He looked out the class and saw everyone look weird at them

He sighed and gave his attention to the front of the room "Yes please I have a question." he raised his hoof "Are the teachers always so late?" he looked at the dark arts teacher partly in wonder partly in almost deviousness Now there's a teacher that  could answer a lot of questions...

Tyra suddenly snapped to attention as the stallion, which she hadn't noticed till now, yelled for them to be quiet. As she thought of questions to ask, another pony fell through the roof in a spectacular fashion.

 

After the two had made their introductions, the foreign earth pony began clapping her forehooves with a look of pure amusement on her face.

"Very good tricks, those were!" She applauded, then paused with a cocked head, "What will these 'Dark Arts' classes be about?"

He sighed and gave his attention to the front of the room "Yes please I have a question." he raised his hoof "Are the teachers always so late?" he looked at the dark arts teacher partly in wonder partly in almost deviousness Now there's a teacher that  could answer a lot of questions...

Trivy looked up from her desk, seeing the two teachers that had arrived in the room. "Finally" she thought to herself. She listened carefully to their conversation, patiently waiting for the class to start. She was already excited, the class sounded very interesting.

"If he is a canterlotian or whatever the heck they are called he probably broke a horseshoe and needs to get it repaired, can't be anything but perfect here." Burning grumbled to the teacher as he continued strumming his guitar. He never liked this high society thing and why his mother decided to send him here is beyond him.

Thunder got a little bit irritated the negative tone of this pony "Hey, don't judge him becuase of him being late. I'm sure he will show up soon" He noticed the guitar "So you are a musician? " Asked Thunder, who is now interested in the musical taste of this pony

"Yeah what about it?" Burning stopped playing, dropped his guitar next to him and crossed his forelegs in a defiant manner. He could see the interest in this teachers eyes which puzzled him a bit. Maybe this is just a student playing some stupid prank pretending to be a teacher, I mean teachers are all emotionless robots. Burning's eyes darted to the teacher that fell from the ceiling. Or complete nutjobs.

"You think this guitar will break from a simple drop?! This guitar is made from infinity wood from the everfree forest, you know the almost indestructible kind." Burning picked up his guitar again and flew up to the ceiling before dropping it again. The guitar collided with the floor leaving a crack in it.

"The name is Burning Light, I am from ponyville" Burning looked at Rune's extended hoof and gave it a high hoof instead of shaking. "And no it isn't but it grows so short noone even notices it anymore, but an old zebra told me how to identify it from bushes."

"Aye, this is certainly the most interesting collection of ponies I have ever seen!" She chirped.

 

A wide grin came across her face, and she pattered her forehooves on the table. "I could really enjoy being here!"

 "well at least one of us is optimistic." he smiled a tad "I myself would enjoy it, if class were to start... wonder if this teacher has connections to the royals? Might explain their absence..." he was more thinking out loud at this point something he was oft to do

"Yeah PV is pretty active I mean between having the elements of harmony and constant monster attacks might as well be named famousville." Burning thought for a second. "Remind me never to call it that again. As for the tuning I got this." Burning went back into his saddlebag and pulled out a small bottle full of a purple liquid.

"Oh not at all, please welcome. I'm Crimson Quill and this Tyra Shatterhoof. Pull up a chair, it doesn't seem we are starting class anytime soon." this was the most social he had been in a while. He liked it enough but he also wanted to begin learning direly.

Segran smiled weakly at the question trying to show friendliness ''Well... It is about learning what the Dark Arts is and how to use minor non-damaging Dark Arts. You will learn how to teleport short distances. Fly for a short duration and other stuff that unicorns can already do or pegasi can already do. But you will also learn stuff they can't do aswell. Like how to generate an infinity source by simply having a rune stone... Not that its easy.'' He added a cough in the end to gather the other's attentions.

 

He then clapped two front hooves that came out of nowhere floating in the air to grab the attention of those who didnt grab his attention when he coughed ''I'm sure Lektra is busy fixing one of her mechanical wonders as i call them. They range far from what you would probably understand. She is not usually late like this and i would have hoped that she would be here so i could scare her earlier but... Alas, it didnt happen to be my day. OH and you might have seen what i wrote in the letter but dont worry i'm sure we will all get along'' he scratched the back of his head while answering the royalty thing too ''She isn't in problems or anything with royalty... I mean all of us at the school have sometime met both Luna and Celestia'' he started wondering where Lektra actually was at the end of this.

"Nice to meet you Crimson and Tyra." Trivy said as she pulled up a chair next to them. "My name is Trivy. I'm not from any special place, just canterlot. Nothing fancy like the frozen north." She said with a shy smile. She turned around, looking at the teacher who clapped his hoofs together. "Better listen to what he has to say."

Thunder decided to head sit down at the teachers chair, and listen to some music. He put on his earphones again and began to steadily bob to the beat of the song. Man, this song is amazing!  Why haven't i listened to this earlier? Thought thunder. Completely oblivious to the others
