Exactly, which is why they should've read a lot more before jumping in and ruining the movie...

I could go on all night in order to destroy that work bit by bit, but I'm the lazy kind

Me too, but I could list the top things

1. Making the Super Saiyan a bad thing

2. Piccolo being bad

3. Vegeta not included

4. School interfering with plotline

Well, there are some problems here, because:

1.There wasn't any Super Saiyan form, just the Oozaruu one

2.Piccolo was bad at the origin

I agree with the two others

the 2005 version was pretty decent actually.

But nothing actually happens in that movie.  The Thing wallows in his own self pity, the Humans Torch acts like an a**hole, and Dr. Doom doesn't seem to have a clear reason to attack the Fantastic Four other than the movie badly needed another action scene.  And from what I can remember there are zero heroics, both the rescue at the bridge and the fight with Doom are just the Fantastic Four cleaning up their own mess.  I kind of prefer my superhero movies to have actually heroes in them.

I warn you right now: Never see the current reboot of The Fantastic Four. EVER.

I dont see how a person can be disapoointed in that movie because you would have to be excited to see it in the first place. I dont think anyone was excited for the movie.

Maybe not excited, but hopeful considering that the movie had a decent cast and a talented director. Remember, most of us were thinking that Ant-Man was toast after Edgar Wright left, but after it turned out well, it gave us some hope for Fantastic Four.

Maybe if Fox let Josh Trank direct the film they intended for him to make, it wouldn't have been perfect, but it probably would have been better than what we ended up with.

I really don't know if this counts. There is one particular that recently came to theaters that I actually have not seen so huge disclaimer, this is just from me reading critic reviews and not from personal viewing, but I have to say one of the most disappointing movies in recent years for me is....*sigh*...Pixels.

This movie. This. Friggin. Movie. It had so much potential. Video games being made into real weapons against humanity and it was a comedy! The amount of amazing that could have resulted from it was immense! I was so excited when I seen the beginning of the trailer. Then...I seen something dreadful and it was....Adam Sandler, accompanied by Kevin James. This movie convinces me that Adam Sandler is destined to make any possible movie idea into immature garbage. The movie is apparently the same nonsense that Sandler does all the time now. From what I have read, the video game stuff is fun while it is happening because it is just really cool to see, but beyond that, the movie apparently has nothing else to offer.

How does Adam Sandler even have a successful career at this point?

The guy is clearly an atrocious producer and screenwriter.

Having seen Pixels, Adam Sandler looks like he's getting tired of doing these movies too. Seriously, whenever they're not fighting video game characters, he looks bored out of his mind.

There were tons of stories of how the production was going wrong for FF. For Antman I was still excited for it after Edgar Write left.

Fair enough. It's like Fox asked themselves "Hmm, how can we make a Fantastic Four movie that disappoints on every conceivable level ? "

M. Night Shaymalans's The Last Airbender (2010)

Seriously, the cartoon was just SO much better. There just isn't any excuse to have ever greenlit this movie. The cartoon had entertaining characters, a very good story arc throughout all 3 of its seasons, and animation that was superior to most other cartoons made around 2005. This movie on the other hand, I cannot enjoy any of the characters, the director clearly doesn't know what a story is, and, even though I've heard some critics and audiences alike say that the special effects were good, I just don't think that is the case here. To me the special effects were kinda bad and I bet they'd already feel dated by now. If you are thinking about getting into the Avatar cartoon series, just ignore this movies existence entirely. It's not worth any of your time or money.

Most horror movies. EG: The Borderlands, See No Evil, Oculus, Annabelle (and the other one they made), Rave, An American Haunting, the first 3 paranormal activity's, story wise all of the Friday The 13th movies, The Village.

They're all decent, except american haunting and the village, they're some of the worst movies i've ever seen. But the endings of most are kinda anti climatic, and kinda rushed.

The Adam Sandler movie is where comedy goes to die.  His financial success is a mystery that defies explanation.

Seeing how they already managed this feat twice before, they were already experts at this point.

Sure, the 2005 Film and Rise of The Silver Surfer weren't good, but at least they could be seen as campy fun comic book movies and at least it potrayed the fantastic four as a family.

It's sad when the closest thing we have to a proper Fantastic Four movie is The Incredibles.

I suppose you could have some fun with Rise of The Silver Surfer, but its really hard to extract any fun out of the 2005 movie when they spend so much dog gone time sulking over the plight of The Thing.

I actually have to change my pick, the most disappointing movie I've seen has to be Beasts of the Southern Wild. This movie was so bad I almost fell asleep during it and I've never done that in a movie. The only saving grace that this movie had was that it was only 86 minutes long. Worst movie I've seen in my life.

The new reboot of Fantastic Four. Why?

  • I'll start with the acting. Put simply, it's shit. Even when I was watching in the theater, I noticed how bad the acting was, and I rarely pay attention to that stuff when in a theater.
  • The writing's also pretty bad. I only need one example. Someone asked "what if we say no?" The response was "say yes." Seriously. The movie tried to play it off as cool.
  • The special effects were also pretty terrible. Example: The Human Torch's eyes and mouth were only one color.

I did like the scenes where they discovered their powers. It was almost like a body horror. I'd like to see a full fledged body horror superhero movie.

There's also M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening. The plot was awesome, but the acting was terrible. I saw the "What? No." scene before I saw the movie. I thought Mark Wahlberg's character was lying. He wasn't. The bad acting is present throughout the entire movie. Here's the scene I'm talking about.
