Now this is just my personal thoughts, but I actually feel that bat ponies could fit right in with Slytherian given some of the ideas or themes associated with them. More, I could see those with strong/pure bat pony ancestry having just as much pride and sense of 'purity' as any unicorn.

Character Name: Night Shine

Character Age: 11

Hometown: MooreBack, Germaney

Character Race: Earth Pony (muggle born)

Physical Description: She is still small for her age, which she's a bit self-concious about. Dark blue coat, black mane

and tail with thin light blue streaks. Her cutie mark is a telescope aimed toward a trio of stars.

Personality: Very bookish and keeps to herself. She tends to shrink into the background of large groups, and smaller

groups make her a bit nervous if she's not sure of her place within them. Rules make her comfortable, as there's less a

chance she'll screw something up if she knows and follows the rules. Because of this, NightShine tends to use etiquitte

rules to interact with people.

Year: 1

Biography: Night Shine was born and grew up in a small village in Germaney. There were a lot of Equestrians living in the

area, so she became fluent in both languages (whatever the equivalent of German and English are in Pony-world). Her elder

brother is in the process of taking over the family farm, and her younger brother doesn't yet have a cutie mark, but has

begun to express an interest in fireplaces and rooftops. When the Owl Post arrived, it wasn't exactly a surprise, as Night

Shine was very interested in magic, verging on obsession. Nopony really understood her interest in the night sky, or the

books she collected. Though they weren't particularly mean to her, Night Shine didn't have many friends because she didn't

have a lot in common with other ponies.

I made a picture! I'm not an artist, so I resort to dressup programs. It's not entirely accurate, but that's okay for now. I mostly just wanted to see if the colors I picked would actually look good together.

Hometown: None, he and his family lived in the woods apart from any village city or region.

Character Race: Unicorn

Physical Description: Whitish-blue fur, grey mane and crimson red eyes. He's rather average otherwise, he does however have a physical malformation in his horn, its curved upwards on his head at a 30 degree angle and has a little twin following it half the way making him have two horns... Although it doesn't do much at all otherwise.

Personality: Although hes a pureblood he has a strong sense of equality with the others so he hates people who dislike muggleborn or halfbloods in general. Hes also rather brave when it comes to defending people from people stronger than him.

Biography: He was born in his house at the medical wing, they had quite a large house. Nearing to that of a castle... Maybe a mansion if you like, to him that was the place he grew up with his two Unicorn parents teaching him and preparing him for becoming a great wizard like the two of them. Ofcourse they were arrogant while he was not, he knew of his own weaknesses and mostly studied about the muggle world when his parents didn't know. He was fascinated with how amazing it sounded, oh how he wished he could have been born a muggleborn or even a muggle. It would be so fantastic he thought, going to school... Being no one special and getting friends because of it. Ofcourse it was all just a dream, he could never actually achieve it. But one day... The day his parents had waited on, an express owl from hogwarts came. He had been accepted to go, ofcourse he was happy as he could finally get some friends apart from his three sisters who mostly hang out with their friends far away, then the day came where he was going to Hogwarts for real... Ofcourse he had with him his pet Owl, Melzon.

 

 

There you have it... Its short, i know.

I'll happily join as another teacher. Clover will be Charms teacher, maybe also head of a house? She would have been a Gryffindor when she was at Hogwarts as a student. She's an alicorn in this, given that as a teacher, it's possible for her to be one whereas for a student, it would be too much.
