A New Life in Ponyville

Zarely tought she heard something so she made her way to where some ponies where."Hmm everypony seems to have somebody to talk to, I guess I'll just say hi and wait for someone to reply" Zarely thought. Then ,just as planned, she called out "Hi!" and waited for a reply from anypony. Then she decided to completly ignore what she just did and walked over to where some ponies were surronding a mare with a filly sleeping beside. "Hi!" she said again.

Electrobolt was slightly worried too, and looked back in the direction that Cloud took the other pony. "I'm sure that pony will be alright..." he spoke up, looking back to Honey Dew. He noticed Morning Shine was sleeping, and said, "It looks like she wore herself out..."

 

Honey Dew looked down at her little sister and smiled, cuddling her.

"She does that a lot. She's very hyper, and sometimes she falls asleep while she's bouncing. I have to keep a very close eye on her.."

 

Suddenly, there was a loud "Hi!" From somewhere around them, and Honey Dew jumped, waking her sister up.

Dichromate had finally wiggled his way through the crowd as the entire debacle unfolded. He observed it with a slight expression of amusement on his face. He reclined back, and listened to another pony talk to no one in particular.

"Aw, come on," Dichromate said, patting the strange pony on the back. No, he had no idea who he was, but who cared? A fellow music appreciator was good in his books. "Kids fall asleep all the time, there's a couple right there," he said, pointing in a vague direction. "Relax."

He turned slightly to watch an awkward pony wandering around saying "Hi." He thought that was rather funny. Like a broken record.

*Apollo looked at him with pleading eyes.*

"When the topic of ice cream comes up around her, she flies off the handle, and she is her mother's daughter, so she's fast as heck."

Zarely saw the mare suddenly jump. "My fault ain't it? Sorry.... I'm Zarely I am walking around and I saw you and, I thought you were new and, so, yeah."I wonder what to say next." she thought "And what's you name?" she said.

Electrobolt heard this one pony talking to him and looked over. He saw a unicorn with a bright orange coat. Chuckling when he was pointing out a couple of sleeping kids, he responded, "I wasn't meaning it that way, but alright..." He then heard a "Hi!" and saw that another pony had come up. *Geez, today is busy...* he thought to himself.

Dichromate frowned as he saw a large trickle of people coming in. "Oh Celestia. I can't remember everyone's name at this rate...." he sighed.

About halfway down the hill, Fear's mind began to have vivid thoughts of random things, Walking through a forest, walking on the beach, rolling down a hill, Things of that nature. Unbeknownst to him he walked into a bush and fell in with a noticeable yelp. Nervous somepony may have seen him, he stayed in the bush, waiting for any possible interest to his clumsiness to fade away as he peeped out of the bush and watched the others in the group..

Zarely looked around scanning for more ponies to talk to. She saw another pony close by and waved "Hiiiiiii!" she said to the pony with green coat." What's your name?"More ponies to talk to today sure is GREAT!" she thought.

Electrobolt couldn't help but chuckle as this pony was very active. He responded, "My name's Electrobolt." *Today is really busy for some reason... Is something going on?* he began to ponder, before clearing that thought out of his mind.

Cloud nodded and flew toward the house. He landed and knocked on the door.

 

"No need for that."

*Apollo said and opened the front door himself. He walked in and began to call out that he was home, before he was tackled by a small multicolored blur.*

 

"Welcome home daddy!" *The filly said loudly, hugging her father. Apollo ruffled her red, blue, and green mane with his hoof.*

 

"Its good to be home Breezy." *Apollo said and hugged her back. Breeze looked up at Cloud.*

 

"Who is that daddy?" *She asked her father.*

 

"Thats a friend of mine. Introduce yourself." *He said in a fatherly tone. Breeze hopped off of her father's chest and stood in front of Cloud. She bowed a bit and introduced herself.*

 

"Hi! Im Breeze! Its nice to meet you!" *She said enthusiastically.*

Cloud smiled at the filly, "Well somepony has manners" he said, "Nice to meet you Breeze, I'm an old friend if your dads, I'm Cloud Chaser" he then lowered his head and whispered in her ear, "You keepin your daddy out of trouble?"

A few ponies in the crowd were giving Overdrive puppy dog eyes. "Alright, guys... I'll play one more song, but I'm only doing it because you guys have been such a great audience!" He gave a charming smile to the gathered ponies, "This one's about a hard time in my life, when I ran away from home." He began to play and sing:

"Probably asleep." *Apollo said, obviously envious of his wife.* "Breezy will actually let her get some." *He said and ruffled Breeze's mane again. Breeze giggled and flapped her tiny wings a few times.*

Midnight opened an eye, looking down at all the ponies below his cloud, tilting his head and watching some new faces he didn't recognize.

"hmm, mabey i should go say hello."

"Dude..... you would be like..... my best friend........... ever." *Apollo said. He needed sleep more than a druggie needed a bag of cheetoes after smoking a fattie. He turned to Breeze.* "How about it Breezy? How would you like to play with Cloud for a little while?"

 

"Sounds fun!" *Breeze said enthusiastically.*

 

"Looks like thats a yes." *Apollo said to his friend.* "Now be careful with this idea Cloud, a few weeks after she was born, RD and I got Pinkie to foal-sit for us, absolute chaos. Could barely recognize the interior of sugar-cube corner." *He whispered to Cloud.*

"Well good luck!" *Apollo said loudly and then flew up into the bedroom window.*

 

*Breeze looked at Cloud and began to bounce up and down into the air, momentarily suspended in the air each time by the quick fluttering of her wings.*

Tilts his head to the left at a filly and two stallions watching the filly bounce excitedly "hmm, whats that about huh?"

he stood up, streached his body and wings then jumped off the cloud.

he smiled and shut his eyes for a second as his wings caught the air, then landed in the center of ponyville, "okay, lets see what everypony's doing."
