In case you don't know what the game is..

 

"As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing & starving on a mysterious island, you must hunt, harvest, craft items, grow crops, & build shelters to survive. Use skill and cunning to kill or tame & ride the Dinosaurs and primeval creatures roaming the land, & team up with hundreds of players or play locally!"

 

Basically, a dinosaur survival game. Released on Windows, Mac and Linux for 27,99€, coming out for XBOX One in 2016 and PS4 too I think.

 

 

I have the game on Steam, one problem I have though is I don't have any friends who play it, so if anyone has the game and wants to play together just PM me on the forums and send me a Steam friend req.

I can't believe this thread hasn't gotten any more love! Ark is an amazing game! I mean, there's nothing more awesome than taming your own prehistoric creature and having it as a mount while fighting vicious enemies and monsters. The gameplay is decent and the graphics are spot on. And while the dinos aren't very accurate, they're visually striking nonetheless

Nothing is more satisfying than beating an raptor unconscious with your bare hands.

 

 

 

Too bad there are barely any left since high-level players pretty much exterminate everything on sight, especially on older servers.

Apparently this game is coming out for Xbox One and the more I hear about it, the more I want it, it sounds like an awesome survival experience. Also Sweetie Belle has been doing a good job at convincing me thus far.

I love this game! It's really awesome and I enjoy playing it! I still play it even up to this day, and I plan on getting the DLCs for it at one point or another.
