@@Yoshikupo,

It appears as though the balance of power in this RP is shifting more towards a balanced approach. Where both of us have a good say in what happens next.

I just find that interesting, it gives me a taste of what being OP is actually like.

now I have a plan on how we will end it...at the clock tower

@@Illiad Easle,

well you seem to really like countering EVERYTHING don't you? sorry but you know when Page was talking about every time she keeps getting countered? think of a less angry version and say that's how I feel. seriously, if you don't give the villain leverage, there is no villain, just saying because seriously its getting annoying to someone how controls them...I know she will lose in the end but that's IN THE END. (it's so hard to write her actions and how she gets out of things now you know?)

@@Yoshikupo,

I would say that I'm sorry for being a better tactician, but I am not sorry for that.

If Page hadn't teleported things out of the warehouse I would have no clue as to where to find her, it would take hours to trace the spell. but teleporting things out of the warehouse is a great tactical blunder.

If you edit your post so she doesn't teleport things all over town, then I will have the thestral hang back as he has nowhere to go.

deal?

@@Illiad Easle,

fine but you never said it would take hours, I thought it would be a few minutes because they could just teleport there from the trail making her trapped in the building (P.S. it wan an abandon building)

@@Yoshikupo,

So, I had this idea.

Jigsaw didn't die that night.

He was wounded to almost death by Jade's knife but he was assisted by Luna before he died, he spent a few months in recovery. But Selena assumed he had died, to learn otherwise with the damaged memory nexus would only cause further, irreparable damage to her mind. So Luna forbade Jigsaw to see Selena until her mind could be healed.

Jigsaw understood but his anger towards the one who took what was basically his daughter away from him slowly burned in him. after all, Jade took Selena's only hope for recovery and disappeared. He was promoted to captain of the LTF and with his new power he started to search the world for Jade, he would only know peace when he could be with Selena, his daughter, again.

He finally finds you just after you return the box to Selena, but you were too close, he couldn't risk her seeing him before the box was opened, so he waits for his opportunity to strike his revenge, with a knife.

I was thinking that Selena would open the box, her memory would be restored, and she would freak out at what Jade did. tell him to leave. as soon as he leaves the room, Jigsaw takes him. all I have for him after that at this point is the line "If she truly loves you, she'll come for you."

Well, what do you think of that for a third villain?

@@Illiad Easle,

I think she has the right to believe that when 'Bright' used her spell on Selena that she could bring it up right there...you know so it has a purpose and isn't just something that happened

@@Illiad Easle,

Well, I did not expect her to be so well prepared. Good job. I should have had the foresight to prevent teleports into the house, that was stupid of me to allow.

Also, the clock tower is much bigger than I thought, for it to contain upwards of 40 ponies at the same time in addition to the bell ringing mechanism. I am going to need a bit more information before I can pound out my next post.

1. How tall is the tower? In stories.

2. Is there a way up the tower from the inside?

3. Does the tower only have one open face? or are all four of the tower's clocks missing? Or did the tower only have one clock?

4. How big is the opening in the tower? I would assume it is about the same width as the tower side.

5. How many captured ponies are there? Given that the town has significant changeling population, about 5% of the ponies would be changelings. So if there are twenty, at least one of them is definitely a changeling.

6. How are the ponies in the tower distributed in relation to the open face that Jade is being held near?

That is all for now, I'll have to think hard about how to win this battle, it is much better planned than the first hostage situation.

@@Illiad Easle,

(you mentioned to yourself)

1. it is about 3 stories, can give the minimum amount to kill somepony

2. yes old and rickety stairs lead up it, something a bunch of soldiers would break, even less if they had there armor

3. only one face

4. about a story tall

5. there are 51 and there changeling magic is useless btw, whole spell thing makes sure of that

6. a few are in twos as the gang can not all cover them so she made a few closer, its like a circle that keeps the ponies in and about to die if something happens (if one of the gang members with two ponies it attacked, both will fall)

I hope you have fun thinking of something (p.s. you will be the villain next time as I get a little burnt out and it was your idea in the first place)

@@Illiad Easle,

the gang and ponies are outside the clock tower where its facing so the mare can see everything and is not protected by anything but the invisible magic barrier that she made for her own protection, that's how when a bubble pops the guard will defend the pony from guards till there dead from the height, the guards also have these barriers but only strong enough for one shot of anything. It might be my fault for this mis post.

@@Yoshikupo,

I'll have to edit my post then. Actually this changes quite a bit for my strategy, we'd have to move the rp back two posts, back to my super long post to change my strategy, I assumed all the ponies were inside the tower.

@@Illiad Easle,

fine, I wish an all powerful almost god like pony was not around but I can work with this but don't think this ending to this part will be something I would enjoy if I read it...then again I have a bit of bias as the villein.

@@Yoshikupo,

That was a bit of an anti-climactic experiance, I wholly expected Selena to be pushed from the tower to shatter on the ground. But this works too.

The arc I have in mind starts once we get the box open, so I can take over as DM once we reach that point.
