"Yes, we three all should join, I'm not a real athlete myself, but this should be fun" He said to Summer."

 

He took up a position in front of the class, his eyes sweeping across all of them.  "Now, before we get started today, I want to talk a little bit about Headmaster Greyhoof's message," he said, his tone growing serious.  "I want each and every one of you to know that -- even above the classes I teach here at the school -- it's absolutely vital to me that every student in attendance at the University can feel secure in their safety.  I realize that many of you are magically inclined," he looked briefly upon Flearia next to Summer Breeze.  "Many of you are quite powerful and capable.  But I also want you to know that you have my solemn promise that I will protect every single one of you, no matter what it takes.  So if any of you are frightened or worried that something might happen to you...please.  You can come to me at any time and I'll do what's necessary to make sure you're safe."

"Alrighty then" He said with a smile.

As the group walked from the announcement and bumped into Professor Dangles, Flearia's head was still full of the news about both the mare who had dissapeared and the announcement about that the school would have a Horse hockey team!

 

After hearing the announcement HackTune said to Flearia and Summer while walking back to the class, "Ah'm sure she'll be fine, I guess... Anyway any of you joining the hockey team?"

 

'maybe, I'm not sure yet. since we have most afternoons off, we have a lot of spare time. but I'm not a real athlete' Summer said to HackTune, then she turned her face to Flearia 'how about you, shall we all join the hockey team together?'

 

Before she could answer her HackTune interupted

"Yes, we three all should join, I'm not a real athlete myself, but this should be fun" HackTune said

 

"Sorry you two but I can't join in on that... I may be gifted in the ways of magic but I'm extremly vulrnerable to physical connections. I'd be out cold from just a tackle." Flearia tryed to explain as they entered the classroom after Professor Dangles who commented on Summers statement about not being a "real athlete"

 

"A real athlete, hm?" he asked her.  "I'm not so sure I've ever met one of those before.  I've just met ponies who like to have fun playing sports."  He gave her a little wink.  "Please...don't let your inexperience or what you think might be a lack of ability hold you back from joining the team.  This will be the first year the University's had a horse hockey team -- and it's much more important that we build a tradition of having fun before we worry about winning.  And as for the experience and ability part...just let your coach handle that," he chuckled.

 

Soon after that they had gathered at the bences they had been at before the announcement and Professor Dangles placed himself infront of the class as he begun to speak.

Flearia felt Professor Dangles eyes on her for a brief second as he mentioned of magically inclined and quite powerfull ponys. She knew she was quite gifted with magic. Feeling the eyes on her boosted her ego somewat to hear it directed to her from other then the specific pony. It also made her blush a bit and hid behind one of her books to try hide it. "G-good to know that we can come to you, Professor" She said shyly from the cover of her book.

'aaaaw, pleas join! I can't do it either, but it will be fun, i promise' summer said to flearia and smiled, hoping to still let her join. but she knew it wasn't gonna happen 'but you'll watch us, right?' summer said to her. maybe if she saw how much fun it was she would still join.

summer lissened to professor dangles and felt much better. even though it hadn't been really needed, if there was something flearia or hacktune couldn't help her with the first pony summer would go to was professor dangles.

summer opened her books and looked at professor dangles while waiting for him to start his lesson. then summer started drawing.

"Ofcourse i'll come and look when you play. I might not  be in playing myself but i'll do my best to cheer you ponys on" Flearia said to Summer and HackTune with a smile before continueing the reading and taking notes from the big leathery book she had up.
