If they do they won't admit it due to legal reasons, and yeah most of the writing is done in advance so anything that seems similar is more than likely pure coincidence,

They simply don't.  And anything they would do would need to be sanitized.  If you wanted to know if something was out there or had general questions you would need to do it through a third party -- they look then tell you about your question.

If you go on Twitter sometimes they'll do a Q&A - some of the writers, directors and other artists - as long as the questions aren't too spoilery. As long as it's done in a civilized manner (like not asking too personal questions and not being a troll) then they're more than welcome to give answers.

I never said that. My apologies if you thought that. I was merely explaining what I've seen on Twitter in regards to interaction with MLP show artists & writers.
