Then again, Sunshine's special talent is controlling emotions. Though he prefers to make everyone happy. But when he fails, or when he causes problems, he becomes very sad. 

He's not OP. He controls emotions in the same way that a musician, playwright, artist, writer, etc. would. He can't do it magically and force ponies to have certain emotions.

I get more comments when I make him sad than when I make him happy. He's generally a happy go lucky colt. I'm concerned.
