He suddenly takes an amused look, some darkness in his eyes.

"Quite perceptive, aren't you, Youngling?" He smirks, nodding. "Correct; I'm not exactly a changeling."

His horn glows red, and his body is enveloped in scarlet fire. It shift into one almost identical to that of a changeling. Except for the horn remaining the same shape, a cutie mark being present, and purple mist leaking out of his azure eyes. He bows, respectfully, his expression turning proper.

"Prince Marion Ette, Son of Sombra, King of the Umbrum and Crystal Empire, and Chrysalis, Queen of the Changeling Hives of Equestria; at your service." He looks up, examining your reaction to being in the presence of royalty. His size didn't change, and remains the height of a foal. His voice reverberates, humming. It seems deep, mature, knowing. It flows over the ears, like a pleasant, albeit odd, melody. A voice that belongs in Canterlot. "And you, Youngling?"

@@Aurora Lights, @@Yoshikupo, hearing the pony in the cornor remark on groups cresent had a small hunch it was something else (ooc he sometimes calls Banner sister do to his lack of remembering names) on the bed remark cresent felt annoyed but still too tired from waking up like everypony else during the day. He looked at the group again wondering how to say hello to everypony

Posey let out a big laugh at him calling her youngling. "Sorry Marion Ette but you are the youngling here, I lived thousands of years before your father was even born. Now tell me why are you here? also Give me a reason why i shouldn't kill you for endangering my children when you arrived." Posey said looking the colt in the eye.

i heard banner said that banner mother burned in a fire, I've thought of that maybe i should've appreciated my mom and dad, helping them, instead of running away."Sorry to hear that" as i said that with a quiet voice. As i sat on the chair for a moment,"i'm getting kind of bored" and asked "What D'ya guys usually?" as i jumped off the chair and started walking around.

A gesture that looks suspiciously like a raised eyebrow is made. He also appears a bit shocked at the new development. He hadn't expected anypony whose age measured similar to his own. Interdimensional travel was an odd business.

"For starters, you'd be assassinating an envoy on a diplomatic mission. The second point is-" He suddenly takes on his father's smokey shadow form, fangs much more apparent. "You'd find it difficult attacking a body that isn't corporeal."

His eyes are the unnatural hue one gets, whilst casting dark magic. However, his horn doesn't glow. He examines your face, eager to learn it.

"Besides, it's never too late to invite the World Eater... Have you heard of it? There's usually a poem in each world that got the warning... It might be called something else here, but the words "snicker-snack" would be in it..." He examines your features closely, for any sign of recognition. He doubts that you've heard of the Jabberwock, in a backwards universe like this one. "Besides, I have no intention of harming your charges, regardless of my intimidations would indicate. I'm just here to observe and report. I guess you could call me a scout..."

Glade looked from the floor to the bat-pony and then to filly in front of him,then down to the ground,'Do you think he knows? If he does,you know what we must do,Dark. I already said this once,I'm NOT going to to kill anypony...not again... I can't deal with it,I-I can't take their souls,I can't! But what if he knows Dark?! What if he Tells everypony here what you are on the inside?! Th-Then I'll just deal with it! BUT CAN YOU DEAL WITH THE PAIN AGAIN!?! I DON'T KNOW!...I don't know...' He gulps softly as he stares at the ground,his eyes distant as he fought with himself in his mind.

Posey looked at the colt as he transformed but she had a bored look on her face, then she heard the very stupid threat about summoning a devourer of worlds. he is certainly long winded isn't he. "you know threatening me and transforming using shadow magic only makes me want to kill you even more but as i am retired i will just settle with the next best thing." Posey said before her Eyes glew brightly. a strange glow surrounds Marion Ette's Shadow body and reverts him back to normal, then he feels empty inside. "you maybe wondering what i did to you i took away your magic and transformed you into an average unicorn colt who can't use magic." Posey explained then got real close."Next time you threaten somepony choose your words carefully because i could kill you with just a thought. Now if your done being a complete idiot we must return to the other kids. also just so you know only i can reverse it." Posey then walks off toward the cottage not even waiting for the colts response.

"Miss! Wait for me!" I cry out in the voice of a panicked little colt. I was livid with rage, but I decided to just play the part of of a little child, who was putting up a tough facade. Who knows? Maybe she'll return it early on good behavior. I noticed I was no longer half changeling, as I could no longer sense the background fear of the animals nearby. It was terrifying, no longer being able to notice it, almost like losing a sense. I'll just have to play along, until I can backstab her... Besides, I can no longer sense whatever was scrying us, and that was the most unnerving of all. I hate being watched. "Didn't you notice?"

Glade gulped as he felt something different in the spiritual dimension,he felt something very bad was about to happen,the souls were oddly quiet for the first time in a long time. He looked around,everything seemed so...Quiet,nothing made a sound,not even the spirits that were inside of him were making noise,they normally said things to him,warned him,showed him secrets...but now,they are completely silent...

He follows after, eager to get back to the orphanage. He was hopeful to get into her good standing, perhaps even get his power and race back ahead of schedule. Perhaps, he might not even have to punish her for her insolence. Or, he could recruit her; she would make a useful Right-Hand Mare... And a decent bodyguard, considering her abilities to nullify magic... He'd have to get right on that, when he figures out the political structure, to determine how to properly take over, before suddenly disappearing...

Scare looked out of a window in boredom for the dead silence that seemed to fill the cottage she sighed as she watched a little brown rabbit run up the path Posey and the weird looking colt walked down to get to the village. Scare was kinda surprised to see Posey walking back followed closely by a small unicorn colt.

Posey and Marion Ette approached the cottage Posey saw Scare in the window so She put on a smile when she walked up to the door and opened it.

Metus looked up from the puddle and turned to the cave mouth and took note of the setting sun with a frown she turned back to her puddle and willed it to show her the little colt she kept watching all day all day and using her magic she willed her voice to whisper into his ear, "See you tomorrow my little colt." She Whispered in an innocent tone. she then looked at the puddle watching for his response.

He looked around and started to shake a little as the voices of the lost souls start to talk again,some crying,others whispering soft words,making him feel a little more comfortable,He sighed softly as he felt normal again,they were now whispering his name in his ears,he took a deep breath and looked up,everything seeming more alive than before. But,could he talk back to the mare that tried to talk to him? He tried to communicate back,' H-Hello?'

Glade gulped softly,' Y-Yes...I do...nopony understands...They...they don't know what it's like to have millions of souls cry your name every night,to know what it's like to see death every day,to know when somepony is about to die...They don't know what I see in my hallucinations...Th-They don't understand...I can't sleep...I've tried...But it's useless,Every night...the nightmares,the screaming,the pain...Seeing ponies be ripped apart,seeing the death,seeing the souls wander and wish they could move on...it's so...so...sad...I feel sorry for them. They don't know what it's like to-' he takes a breath as he has tears start to roll down his cheeks,'-they don't know what it's like to try to die,try to kill yourself and not be able to die,to see Death in face to face and not be taken,just to be told by Death that I'm not worth being taken to the soul realm...' "You poor thing there there no need to cry you have me now and I can help you get rid of the voices and the vision once i see you tomorrow. So don't be sad you will no longer have to be alone in your suffering. now sleep and let your dreams be sweet." she said her voice becoming more motherly as she used her magic to make the volt sleepy,"Good night my little Dark I will see you in the morning."

Glade wiped his face and his eyes got heavy with sleep,he looked around and stumbled over to a bed,he crawled in it and curled up,pulling the cover over him,he yawned and looked at the ceiling,strangely,the souls were silent,he didn't hear crying,no sadness,it was....peaceful...he wasn't scared of sleep now. He slowly closed his eyes as he felt the deep syrupy sleep pour over him,he was soon asleep,but,in his dream,he was standing in a cave,or rather,his souls was. The cave had bars over it,and his face was one of a depressed pony,he slowly looked at his soul's face,it had a creepily demented smile upon it's lips,it glowed a dark red,a fire-brick color in fact,his soul started laughing as millions upon millions of souls screamed behind him,but they were muffled,quieter than the laughing that his soul was now doing.

Now with with my dear little colt is asleep i have to break my cage and collect some well deserved desert. Metus thought as she approached the barrier at the mouth of her cave she raised a hoof to it and and smiled as the barrier vanished and fresh air blew through her mane. with a deep breath she stepped out of her prison and almost immediately she found a sleeping black dragon, and with a quick motion of her hoof Metus removed the Dragon's soul his scales turned a black color and his eyes turned pale. Metus smiled as she devoured the soul and a smile crept up on her face on how to use her new soulless dragon.

Glade tosses and turns in his sleep,his soul smiles and keeps laughing,but it stops as it looks up at him,it slowly reaches outside of the bars and touches his forehead,he gasps as he drops to the ground,he then sees Metus stealing the soul of a dragon and devour it,he stared as she rode it,all the while he followed her as she flew,he saw her destination... 

 

Glade slowly opens his eyes,he sees a spirit look down at him without emotion,he gulped softly as it slowly leaned down,he was sweating,but the chill of the spirit made it chill enough to where he was now cold,like normal again. He stared as the spirit slowly morphed into a ball and flew into his mouth,he gulped softly as he looked at the rest of his body in the bed.

Metus willed the creature down and hopped onto the dragon and it took to the air as it flew towards canterlot. using her magic Metus changed her appearance her mane became pink and her coat yellow  her cutie mark became a flower. once she arrived in canterlot she had the dragon hide in a cave near the entrance she then approached the gate into palace once inside she she made her way to the vault where her prize was kept it was guarded by four guards who sprung into action once they saw her they drew their weapons and attacked her with a smile she (Censor! this scene contains too much gore to be allowed on this site so i am censoring it sorry just use you imagination if you really want to know what she did to those poor guards.Censor!) With disgust she wiped the blood off her coat with a hoof and opened the gate inside was a small black and white gem stone. she grabbed it eagerly turning around to leave the only to see none other than the princess of the night luna but with a bow and a smile Metus teleported outside of the gates she happily skipped to the dragons cave and rode off into the night with the gem stone of the soul in her hooves.

Glade gulped as he felt something wrong with the Soul Realm,they were screaming loudly,yet their screams were getting louder as time passed he realized something was getting closer as the souls screamed,'RUN GLADE!' he didn't though,as he felt a soul getting close to the orphanage,but it wasn't like any other,it was powerful,strong,and he felt something even greater in power than the soul that was flying in quickly...he closed his eyes as he concentrated,he then saw Metus flying on the black dragon,but what she held in her hoof was the most prominent thing he could see...it was filled with billions of souls...He gasped as his eyes opened wide,his heart started to pound,but he knew he couldn't run.

Posey looked at the children who were in the living room chatting among themselves."Sorry for leaving you all now it is getting late you all need your rest so i will assign you all rooms and we can continue with introductions tomorrow. Now the room assignments the colts get the bedding area and Scare will be sharing a room with Banner since she is the only Filly. to arrive today. Crescent please show the new colts to the bedding area." Posey said before turning to look at Banner. "And Banner i need you to show Scare to your bed room so she could get some sleep."

Metus and the soulless dragon landed back in nightmare forest. Hopping off the beast she turned toward the direction of the cottage."Tomorrow."

He nods, and hops off to the bed chambers they'll be staying at, with the other colts he's to bunk with. He decides that it'll be easier on him if he takes the last one, letting the rest choose where to sleep, before laying in the otherwise most comfortable place.
