This is the same exact day that Thor 3 and Alien 5 are released. We didn't even know when Season 5 would premiere until like a month or two before. Bronies are going to see MLP no matter what, and then the "target audience" probably doesn't care as much for those other films. The Brony fandom is so large that the movie will do just fine regardless of these other movies. I mean, I've seen the other movies, but on TV rather than the theater. Of course I'm going to see Thor 3 however. It wouldn't sense to release it on the day of two blockbusters, as that means that people would go see the blockbusters instead of their movies.
