gaming PS4 getting PS1 & 2 emulation

I've always had the .hack// series.

 

You know that is something else where I can see the benefit of this. My wife is currently replaying the original .hack// series and I have to say... PS2 games look like utter CRAP on big screen TVs due to lack of anti-aliasing and not being designed for HDTVs. They are really grainy and hard to see on such displays. A re-release with better 1080p upscaling would benefit those games for modern televisions. Not to mention a re-release would actually bring them out of obscurity because these days a whole set of the first 4 games can run you a good penny. Plus those games are long enough to where you deserve some trophies for beating them.

 

I would definitely not oppose to having my own set of the .hack// games by buying them on the PSN.
