Hello I am Emerald Meteor and I have decided to make this as a place display the My Little Pony artwork I have and plan to continue creating. A little about me. I have been making art for 12 years now starting in first grade but I was never really all that serious about my art until high school. After high school I stopped making art all together until fairly recently when I became

a brony and the show has changed me in so many ways not only as an artist but as a person and it has inspired me to create art again which is something I never thought I would do. Now that I am done rambling on about my life story without further ado I am proud to present my MLP fan art, please brohoof to let me know you enjoyed it.

That's actually so cool! I really love how effective the depth is :3

I can never get effective depth when I draw :c

There are many ways to give your art depth. I use perspective, overlapping, shading, shadows and highlights, and for shortening. There is no background in this picture so I didn't use atmospheric persperspective. It takes time to perfect so don't give up I have been doing art for 12 years so I have had a lot of time to practice different techniques to add depth and with time I'm sure you'll be able too as well. For the shadows in my work I actually use my Rapidograph technical pens to ink the super extra pitch black and white paint for the extra shiny white eyes and if you look at the hair I did a thick line with my technical pen for the shadow and a blue shadow after with the same color as their face. But thats just me though I have a old school comic book art style which is ironic because I am only 18 and was born during the beginning of the computer age. Edited by Emerald Meteor

Probably my ROUGH DRAFT of Pinkie Pie. Its ok I guess but first of all I still need to think of a position to draw their body in that sends the kinda message I want. Also, I have been thinking of a background to add to my Rainbow Dash. This Pinkie Pie was done with glorified magic markers and my comic inking pen of course. The Rainbow Dash was done with my inking pen and colored pencils and paint let me know which medium do you guys think is better for my art style?
