In A Time To Kill, they always omit the Klansman-burning scene, but still show the Molotov being prepared for some reason. Why? All that does is make it look like a Big-Lipped Alligator Moment with no payoff.

 

And in Kill Bill, we of course have: "My name is Buck, and I'm here to party." Change his name to "Marty," then, networks!

When Total Drama Island started airing in the US on Cartoon Network, they made some of the most pointless, hypocritical edits ever. I can kind of understand editing out words like 'crap' and 'sucks' but the rest were stupid. Speaking of stupid, that's a word they edited out quite a bit usually replacing it with 'silly' or 'lame.' It's hypocritcal seeing as a lot of CN shows use that word anyway. Same goes for when they edit 'shut up.' Also, whenever there's a censored bleep, they edit it with dialogue consisting of 3rd grade insults. So they basically censored something that was censored. GG CN.

One of my 'favorite' edits in an anime was the usage of "BLAST!" as an expletive replacement in Gundam Wing. It always seemed so forced in the dub.

The comedy goldmine of 4kids edits definitely deserves a mention

 

There was also "Liar Liar" on ABC Family having a bad edit during one of the Cross Examinations near the end,

 

 

When Flecher starts imitating "sounds"(if you catch my drift) imitating his client and the witness, with the witness saying he "kissed her brains out"

Go to 3:58 on this video. I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned here yet, but that's probably because it has already been mentioned on other forums on this site. I remember seeing a comment about censoring Total Drama Island in the US. Now I think the it's kinda funny with MLP being the opposite (US show being censored in Canada). I remember watching TDI episodes on YouTube, and now I'm glad I saw the Canadian versions of them.
