movies/tv Star Wars BB-8 scene- thumbs up or middle finger?

So I just saw the new Star Wars movie yesterday. I don't know a lot about Star Wars in general besides recognizing/naming some of the big characters. I've seen most of the movies over the years, but don't recall much of what went on in them. I just never really got very into it.

 

Anyway, one of my favorite scenes was BB-8's blowtorch scene.

 

I immediately thought of it as "F#@& YOU!!!!" The blowtorch and speed of the whole motion definitely seemed like a hostile gesture to me. He did use a stun gun earlier too. I don't know how people are getting thumbs up out of that.   I wish I could find a clip of that scene to double check, but no luck yet.

 

So what do you guys think?

I think it is suppose to be a thumbs up, given the scene it was in. At least, that was my immediate thought for it, I still think it was that. Nearly busted a lung because of it.

The first time I saw it I thought it was thumbs up.

The second time I saw it I thought the same thing

After this though, I may have to go a third time and pay more attention to that scene, but I still think the answer will be thumbs up.

Oh wow I had already forgotten this awesome scene. But it's pretty obvious that it's a thumbs up. At least to me.

AGGGHHHH! I have to see the scene again! Maybe my robot reading skills just suck. Whatever it did it was funny. I definitely wasn't expecting it.
