movies/tv Who here knows how to properly burn blu rays?

I have legal movies on my hard drive that I acquired. I obtained the Star Wars despecialized versions which are a fan edit that encourages people to own the official 2011 blu ray, I have those blu rays. Now the downloads are in 720p and look surprisingly excellent. They are AVCHD files and I need to convert them to an M2ts file.. But I don't want a loss in video and audio quality when burning the file over. I can only convert these files to MP4s. So anyone have some suggestions?
